Anker 622 Magnetic Battery (MagGo) White

First MagSafe battery pack I’ve used and it’s great. This is the updated version for sure, you can tell by the charging port is on the side. Very compact and light so you can attach and use it without really noticing it. I used it today and attached it between uses and had a ton of left over power by the end of the day. I wouldn’t use it to charge from low because it does not charge very fast, but if you attach it through out the day when you are not using it, you’ll have battery all day and a half no problems. The best part is using it as a stand, landscape or portrait. And with the updated version you can turn off the charger if you have full batt already. ANKER DOES IT AGAIN!

This is like my go to portable battery. I don’t think I could leave the house without it. The battery life on this thing is great, I can have it with me all day and by the time I get back home I still have atleast half the battery remaining. The weight of this is not too bad but you can tell that your phone has a little junk in its trunk when this is attached lol. From other videos I seen the thickness of this device was very deceiving as I thought I would end up getting something that was big, oversized and just thick, but no it’s not really thick at all and it’s smaller than you think. I also haven’t had any issues with it over heating my phone or anything but when I first got it definitely did heat up a bit. Best “Off-Brand” MagSafe Charger

This charger is sleek, charges the phone quickly as well as recharges quickly itself, and the prop phone stand is the icing on the cake! Strong MagSafe magnet allows for my 15 Pro Max to be secure even while propped up and phone is horizontal. I typically slap this on my phone, plug the battery pack in, and go to bed. Flimsy kickstand

Pros;-Nice little portable battery bank for traveling to charge your phone up to full about once.-Slim, looks very nice, aesthetically pleasing.-The charging port works both ways, to charge the battery bank, and charge your phone.-I like that you can charge the battery bank and your iPhone at the same time.-iPhone's newest iOS feature of "Standby Mode" works great, but only if you change how you use the kickstand. (Read con below)Cons;-The instructions on using the kickstand (what you see in pictures of product) is VERY WEAK. Any movement of your phone, tapping something on your screen, even with the slightest touch, will cause this to flop back. The magnet that holds it up just does not work. If you use this horizontally instead though, the intended magnetic flap works fine.-I've had this thing bug out on me where it just stops charging out of nowhere after a minute or two. I have to press the button to reset, or completely remove my phone and re attach for it to work again. My battery can be at any % and this would happen.-It gets WARM. I've had this battery get so hot, iPhone gives you a warning message and pauses charging.

This product gets SUPER HOT when in use and also heats up the phone. I have gotten messages that my phone is overheating and charging can not continue until the phone cools down. I have tried difference scenarios and the battery still gets HOT. I have tried charging my phone while using my phone and the product gets hot. I have tried charging my phone using the product and not using my phone at all abd the product still gets hot. Heat is not great for batteries because it can cause the battery to age prematurely and deteriorate, also there are potential safety issues. I do not recommend this product at all. To extend the life of your phone and phone battery do not use this product. Please refrain from purchasing this product. Good upgrade from wired battery

After using a wired portable charger for many years, I upgraded to a MagSafe one when I bought a phone with MagSafe. I was hesitant, especially because of the price, but it’s so much easier to snap this on your phone than to carry around a battery and a cord separately. I think it provides a good amount of power, but for me the main benefit is really the MagSafe. I do notice that it charges better when I’m not using my phone vs using it, but I think that’s normal with chargers. My least favorite thing about it is how heavy it is, and the size. I have an iPhone 12 mini, so I knew when purchasing this charger that it wasn’t an ideal size. It does hang off the bottom edge of my phone a bit, which is slightly annoying but they do warn you about it on the product page. Great battery battery bank that super convenient as long as you understand it's use case.

I bought 6 of these for my family and they are great. I use them on my iPhone 15pro, and my Fold 5 with a Magsafe ring. Wireless charging isn't as efficient as wired charging. These are limited to 7.5 watts of charging and will take twice as long to charge vs wired charging. They provide about an 80% top up on a iPhone Pro model and about 60% on a Pro Max model. They will generate some heat but nothing too concerning about. If you attach them when your battery is low and stop them from charging after you reach 80% to maximize efficiency. These battery packs are easy, convenient and will extend you through a long day of use. The design is perfect! I love it. The magnet is quite powerful!However, as a power bank and stand, isn't good enough. The capacity dropped by over 90% after a year of use. For example, the iPhone 13 Pro only charged to 7% last night instead of the initial 80%. It seems like there is no overcharging controller to care about the chemistry. Forgetting to charge it for a day can quickly damage the battery. Additionally, the magnet that holds the power bank as a stand for the iPhone is weak and unstable, requiring careful handling when the phone is placed on it.I hope in the future products will be more reliable!Best wishes!

I use a much more powerful power bank to charge my stuff when away from the house, but I found this really useful for when I pop into the office and want something to park my iPhone 15 Pro Max on. I initially thought it might keel over with the weight/size of my iPhone, but it doesn't. Despite comments I read, mine doesn't get that warm when charging or being charged. It's really well made, I like the blue colour which exactly matches my Apple silicon case. It takes my phone from 20% to nearly 90% when I need it to. I do prefer, when not using it as a desk charger, to connect it to my phone via a cable, rather than clamping in on the back. It charges quicker that way as well. Only gripe, the USB-C cable supplied is total garbage. Also makes a good travel companion when you want to use your phone as a bedside alarm clock in hotels. Overall, it's great, just buy a better cable for it.
