Battery life ok all things considered (size) Packaging very nice The android version - unfortunately for NZ there is no apps like TVNZ / NEON etc and you can't mirror cast these due to copyright. Pros: It came in good condition. The looks of it is great. Cons: Unfortunately, I have more cons than pros. 1: Connecting to a device and playing a movie on the nebula takes so much work. It will never successfully connect the first or second time. 2: My biggest con is that its ALWAYS BUFFERING. It takes me 2 hours to get through a 1 hour episode. The wifi box is closest to my room and its still buffering every few seconds. 3: Quality of netflix on the nebula device is very bad, unless you watch it as a small screen. An Amazing Little Projector

This is an amazing little projector. I already owned another Mini projector but what was missing this kind of the portability due to the fact the Nebula is battery powered with its own operating system and does not reply on me attaching my laptop all the time to watch something with the kids. This little guy fixed all that. Because it has the latest Android operating system it means you can turn it on and just go. I all my most used video streaming apps all set up: Netflix, Amazon Video, TED and YouTube. Battery life is more than enough to watch a couple of movies back to back. Speaker is not a massive one (how can it be considering the size?) but does the job just fine and with no cables connected is a happy compromise. The tripod mount has been extremely useful as I have even mounted it our campervan on the ceiling (by also flipping the picture set-up) so the kids can travel with a mini cinema as entertainment (you can see why they love it so much!). HDMI port at the back for when I do want to my laptop as a source. Plays movies from the USB input with a simple little adaptor which is included in the box, and so far this has been the main way I have played movies while traveling. With regards to the lumens (power of the light), you will need a darker room then the more powerful mains powered projectors but while I had some concerns on this, the reality was this it's a small trade off to get such a portable device like this. Yes, I would prefer a more powerful Lumen rating but then the battery would not give me the 4 hours I like. . . so would I trade this? No not at all! Just close the curtains slightly or wait until the sun goes down to go outside. Easy!

Anker Nebula

Bought Anker Nebula a week ago. It's great in terms of handiness, portability & ease of usability & can be used without any wires. Picture quality is reasonable if projected screen is 50 inches or below. When blasted at 100 inches, it loses the picture quality quite badly and turns into black & white picture quality. Also, couldn't connect to Netflix

Gift with purchase a hassle

The nebula projector is great, good picture quality and for it's size the sound is fine. We are enjoying family movie nights. Would have like to know before purchase you need a cable to connect most of the streaming services, but we can get Netflix and Disney+ so more than enough for now. The Kogan experience overall less than amazing though. Chose to buy from Kogan as there was an offer of a complimentary case. Shipping and order process was super quick and efficient with it arriving within 3 days. The case was missing and I was informed that the promotion had run out. Long story short I ended up receiving the case after complaining several times. Great little travel friendly projector

Great little projector - not many on the marker offering this convenient small size and lithium battery to be able to run without power access. It has a number of apps that can be downloaded or hdmi input / firefox browser to log into steaming options that aren’t avail as an app download. We use this camping and in our bus motor home as the TV. Speakers are plenty loud enough! Great little projector

Super happy with my purchase. Its such a cool device - despite its small size it feels real nice and sturdy. Its also very easy to set up and use. Its very portable & even has a mount at the bottom so you can attach it to a tripod. The picture quality is a little pixelated if you look up close, however - when viewing the projected image from a distance its not an issue as the pixelation becomes blurred. To get the best viewing experience the room should be pretty much black. The I sound from the inbuilt speaker is a little tinny but you get used to it quickly. Its also super quiet to operate. My only criticisms are that if you want to use a Bluetooth speaker there is a half second delay in audio (can be mitigated by using an aux cable) Also the inbuilt Netflix app ... MoreSuper happy with my purchase. Great quality compact device for travelling

Absolutely love the size being so compact and the case is a good investment as well. Great sound and video. Projected it on a roll up blind from Bunnings in out camper and was perfect. A little annoying having to use phone to control Netflix but otherwise seamless experience. Took a little while to get my iphone showing as the network connection and pair it but got it right after about a bit of fiddling around. Can't wait to try it outside on an even bigger screen. Only taking off one star because unable to use the included remote for Netflix, otherwise perfect for what I needed.

I had high hopes for this little projector after reading other reviews but was left rather disappointed. The image quality is good. Works in the daytime with the ceiling lights on (with curtains closed) in the room and connects easily to bluetooth headphones. But they are the only good points. The projector is loud. Even turning the sound up halfway does not cover the white noise static that it produces. Ended up using headphones instead. The laser was not lined up straight so I had to wedge a little cardboard under one side to level it out. The built in apps also didn’t work. They just crash when you open them. Ended up connecting an Apple TV to it. But the worse thing is the battery. Description says it lasts up to 4 hours in projector mode. I did quite a lot of research before deciding to purchase the nebula capsule, i wanted a small portable projector with a good battery life, it had to have good inbuilt sound quality, I also wanted it to run android OS so it could run as a stand-alone player with apps like Netflix and Spotify. I considered paying a little less and getting an unbranded pico projector but decided to pay a little bit more to get everything in one package. I am so glad I did, the picture quality is outstanding although if using it during the day you have to close the curtains, but when you do the picture is very watchable. When streaming movies from Netflix or my NAS drive I can watch 2 - 2 1/2 movies, from my thumb drive I can watch about 2. We set the projector up in the garden on the first night and had an amazing family movie night, right then and there the nebula capsule paid for itself. Im so impressed with this little projector Im considering the Nebula Cosmos for the living room (https://www.seenebula.com/campaigns/cosmos-crowdfunding?kid=12E5V5). The projector works great on white/light walls but to use in the garden I purchased a 9 projector screen and its looks great.
