When I research wi-fi security camera systems came up with good ratings and second only to Arlo. I can only say that a fix on the review peridine had to be in the works. I've had four installed for over a year now and the only dependable outcome from them is my frustration with triggers fails and failures to record. They also lack the clarity advertised. Because they were purchased to be such an integral part of my home security need the shortcomings are unacceptable. I've contacted what seems to be a staff of one (1) for tech support but no real fix except to off camera replacement. The cameras are set to maximum sensitivity so replacing with cameras to do the same is not the fix. I mounted these in areas with some cover, eaves or overhangs to keep them directly out of some weather conditions. Once I realized that you can call up the front door to see who is there on Alexa, That is why I also (a year ago) bought Echo Show devices for everyone's bedroom in the house so the entire family can respond if needed to anyone at the front or back door.I've been so happy with these cameras that over the year I've also purchased several of the company's "SMART SCALES" to give to friends as gifts.I'm also considering a door lock from this company. There is also a Facebook group of folks from all over who have purchased and love these cameras, and discuss new items from the company or go through troubleshooting issues and more.My Eufy doorbell, plus this camera over the front door, together, has also helped me keep up with home deliveries, as I get instantly notified when someone comes to the door and can respond immediately.Regarding specs: This is a 2K camera, and although it's clear enough, I live in a more "city" environment. My front door is 25 feet from the sidewalk and my driveway is about 100 feet from the sidewalk. The FLOODLIGHT camera has 1080P resolution and I can read a license plate at the END of the driveway with a 1080P resolution camera.If you have larger distances to record, this camera is the top choice for that greater distance.I've had most of my cameras up for more than one year, and the battery life can last that long - 365 days. All of mine made it except one camera, which I was able to exchange to get one that did hold the charge.However for the 180 battery items I own, I found that they lost more time and power in colder weather.For the 180 day battery doorbell, I had to charge it every month in cold weather. It's not placed in a sunny area so I didn't buy a solar charger for that one. I don't get many visitors who come to my back door. This doorbell I added to the overhead floodlight camera because it's placement films people walking into my driveway at eye level. Everyone in my family exits and enters from the back door - so with that, this battery device gets a LOT of hits which is a further drain on the battery. This is the only Eufy device I must regularly charge. All the others I charge, I only do it once per year so far.I did buy a solar charger for the Eufy 2C cam... (has only 180 day battery life) because it's mounted in a south facing area with no trees or other blockages to the sun. With the charger, the camera stays at 100% all the time.

1 year on review.Overall these camera have been ok. We have 3 singles and the doorbell. Battery wise the singles tend to make it to around 20-30 days on a full charge. The door bell was lasting around 9 days on a full charge. (Contact eufy and got same out of warranty answer)The quality of the image is good but we recently had a break in as the police told said 'due to the poor image quality we cannot use this footage.' Which was great considering I was around £600 in. They also manage to miss 30% of activity especially when it comes to delivery drivers.We also have the door alarms which I can only describe as pointless. My husband immediately looked around for one and he ordered it and had to wait for it a bit, always make sure to read all directions before attempting to use bew devices. I was very excited I wanted to jump the instructions and almost mounted the camera, it's a bit heavy feels like good quality material that will withstand crazy weather. The app is very easy to install and register and start taking advantage of all the neat features and personalized settings you wish to have or for your personal needs. Overall very happy on how it's been working and what we are getting, the battery life looks great we did charge until the blue light went off says a total of 12 hours.

Once the camera was unboxed and charged, we were able to pair the camera in a few seconds. This camera has two options for mounting like the other EufyCam models: Magnetically or Screw-In. Camera completely broke and fail to connect to home base after 2 years

Had the camera working for the past 2 years, but since last week, it fails to connect to the homebase completely. Just needs better video quality and it is perfect

The build quality is great and the video feed is more on the lines of 720p-1080p rather than 2k, but it still looks and works good. The ability to listen and to talk back works as intended just make sure that your wifi network is efficient when connecting to it on both your home and where you are accessing the internet from cause the buffering can kill the experience easily.The night vision mode is good to see people, but not really see their face.We have had one in front of the sun due to having limitations on being able to cover it from the sun for about 2 years and it is still working just fine, but did lose a bit of the colors in the camera lense. Privacy Nightmare Beware

Note this is a well built camera but: As of December 2022 this is a privacy nightmare. Contrary to what Eufy claims, all videos, faces are stored in the cloud. There is no security whatsoever. Literally anyone can view your camer, your faces. All face id's are transmitted to the cloud and to china. They are stored permanently. This camera likely violates GDPR as well as many other regulations. In fact it should not even be allowed in this state. LinusTechTips removed Anker (the company that owns Eufy) completely from sponsoring because of this mess. Trust in the company is completely ruined. I wish I could return mine and replace them with another vendor. I do not believe eufy will be able to fix this problem.

This is one such device. Can strongly recommend. We own cell phone chargers, robotic vacuum, and now a series of eight (10) security cameras, remote doorbells. A++++
