However this phone is over £1000 so out of most people's reach.I needed a battery bank for those extended periods away from the charger whilst being reasonably priced too. There are so many offerings out there, however being lithium Ion battery technology there are many safety concerns. If the internal battery is poorly managed, it can result in overheating and exploding batteries. This is where Anker springs to mind, after reading many reviews, their battery banks seems well priced and very reliable.I opted for the 10,000mAh version, which comes similar sized to the actual galaxy S6 phone. With its capacity, it can charge the phone 3 times, therefore perfect for those extended periods away from a charger.I managed to wait for one of those offer days and bagged it for £17.Upon arrival, I was very pleased at the build and quality of the battery bank. It comes very nicely packaged too.The included cable is of great quality and not a cheap Chinese cable that will last a few weeks. It also features a small LED indicator showing its current charged capacity which is a nice touch. The bank also featured power IQ and voltage boost charging. This was very noticeable when charging my galaxy S6, it charged much faster than the original 2 amp output wall charger. This was quite a surprise.I have now used this on many occasions, and it is a godsend from those extended periods away from the charger. It can also just about fully charge my Samsung tablet (TAB S - t800 model), this tablet has a 8000 mAh internal battery.Pretty impressive.Granted it is alittle bulky to carry around, ideally suited to place in a jacket pocket in winter. However during the summer periods you literally have to pocket it in your jeans, but being pretty slim its not too bad and worth it considering the benefits it gives.Purchased in De 2019 and still going strong to this day (Aug 2020)You can get various versions for your requirements, micro USB, USB C version and lighting connector version for Apple. They also do smaller versions if you feel this type is abit to big.A great reliable brand and a highly recommended purchase.

The cable supplied is standard USB to micro-USB.On the plus side, it is currently cheaper as there's a £5 discount and also a voucher available. As usual with Anker products, beautifully packaged and the box includes a carrying pouch as well as the supplied cable.Recharging my phone seems to work as expected (but only a partial recharge so far) so overall I am happy, but I think I would have been at least as happy with the older version (which my son happens to have, so I've been able to compare for real) if it had been the same price and it would have got the full 5 stars compared to the 4 I'm giving the newer one as I don't think its description or the LED indicators are as good.

That one lasted for a couple of years and still works but is not holding a charge as long so I bought two new ones. This 313 model doesn't seem to have the charging power of my earlier model but still works very well. It charges my phone maybe once and a little more before it is depleted and needs to be recharged. It seemed like my old one charged about 1 1/2 times before it was depleted. I like that it has a mesh case that comes with it. The shape looks more like a cell phone. All in all I am happy with it. In comparison with the old one, I am giving this a 4 star review.

This is a great product. The display is great. You can see everything in HD with power bank hooked to your device. It provides pure energy. Our business bought 48 of them and they worked out fantastic. Provided energy for the whole team. Some dogged out the product until they figured out how well it actually worked. So far it has helped power over 40 devices. Great price for a great product.

Poor Customer Care - Kiss Your Money Goodbye!
16 January 2023

The product may be great, but it is heavy. It was not what we expected. Which led me to returning it to Anker. Which, I caution you, they will fight with you to return your money. I purchased this on 11/7/2022. I started the return on 11/18/2022. They received the return on 11/28. I was told that I had to pay for the return. Then they would charge me a restocking fee. Which goes against the "30 day money back guarantee". Of course, I haven't received any of my money. I'm being told that I was returning because of a warranty. I'm still fighting with them. It is January 16, 2023. BUYER BEWARE. YOU MAY NOT GET ANY MONEY BACK!

Portable and Decent charging speed
11 September 2022

I got this to use for college as my iPhone drains battery really fast and I have used this powerbank about two times and it charges my iPhone 7 Plus fully in about 1.5 hour without even using half its capacity so this lasts about two full charges . One more this is that my phone or this powerbank doesn’t get hot while charging. The power bank itself takes about 4-5 hours to fully charge which is a downside .Even though this power bank doesn’t support usb c fast charging it still charges faster than my normal apple plug via the usb A but not too fast about 5 percent in 5 minutes However if you would like fast charging and a metal body then you should go for another power bank. I would still recommend this for the price plus I also got a mesh case with it. Slim and light weight, yet this one may be faulty...still recommend brand as a whole
17 April 2023

The charger is slim and light weight. 2/2 there.Intuitive to use...seemingly...what we mean here by that is the single button seems like it would be plug in the cord, plug in to device, and hit button. User guide corrected and instructed; however, we are having no luck charging from this and it has been fully charged up. 0/1 there. So, 2/3 is close to 3/5 and that is the reason for a 3-star review.Other items from Anker in the past have been great or fantastic (4 or 5 stars). Like their Soundcore II speaker and a fast-charging cable.

I always let my phone discharge to a certain level before charging it, in order to lengthen the battery's life. Of course the time to charge it often seems to come up when I'm not at home or at a place where I can plug it in, so the Anker PowerCore 10K is wonderful for those times. It charges my phone very rapidly.Overall, I am very happy with this device. The one thing that seems lacking is that the charging cord that came with it doesn't have a very sturdy plug on the micro-USB end. The metal shaft on mine is already bent upward for some reason I don't understand and doesn't stay tightly connected to the phone, so I keep having to check to make sure it hasn't fallen out, which is annoying. The metal shaft on mine is already bent upward for some reason I don't understand and doesn't stay tightly connected to the phone, so I keep having to check to make sure it hasn't fallen out, which is annoying. I have had this device only a little over a month and have used it only about 5 times, so it's disappointing that this is already failing. The little mesh carrying bag for the device is also nice to have since I keep it in my purse, but carrying the charging cord in it is tricky because the plugs have a tendency to snag the mesh and also to scratch the finish on the device if not carefully wrapped. Is there a different kind of design that might solve those problems? It would also be great if your website would offer a step-by-step pictorial instruction on using this device for those who are not extremely tech-savvy. The little folder that came with it is just not enough for anyone who hasn't used one of these before and may still be learning about the different kinds of technology, the most basic things like, what is a Micro-USB, what is a USB Type C, where do I plug this device in to charge it vs how to plug my phone into it to be charged, and more technical info like how do I know when I need to recharge the power bank, and how do I avoid overcharging and shortening its life? I liked mine so much that I bought one to give a friend as a gift, but she is a very non-tech person and I had to write out instructions for her. I couldn't find anyplace online that explained those things in an easy-to-find and easy-to-understand fashion. Most people have cell phones, but there are many (like seniors) who don't have experience with other kinds of technology and have no way of figuring this out. You might sell more of these if the instructions came with them to show exactly how to use them, without assuming the consumer already knows that.

Such high hopes yet fell boldly flat
24 September 2022

Such high hopes I had for this product but it fell flat on impressing me. First off, no matter how long I charged this, connecting it to my phone, it didn’t work. The middle button to be depressed quite hard before getting any response. Basically not straight forward to use, when it’s generally a product which is just a charger which shouldn’t require much to work it. I did find that I needed a more descriptive form of instructions rather than a pictorial form. Which was not helpful whatsoever. I then went to YouTube the watch seemed straightforward but then applying it, was fruitless and frustrating. I am now in the process of a refund. Have ordered a simple Juice power charger. Also didn’t like it’s brick like size but was willing to work with it if only it ... MoreSuch high hopes I had for this product but it fell flat on impressing me. seems to work fine; need instructions
17 December 2022

I seem to have plugged the right cords into the right outlets, from Anker to iPhone to electrical outlets etc. in the right order. But no way to know for sure until it blows up/doesn't work, etc. PLEASE include complete simple instructions with illustrations. It is assumed that everyone knows what the lights mean, how to tell it's charged, which ports are for charging the device vs charging the phone, etc. We didn't all grow up with computers surgically attached. Without intelligent instructions, presumed lack of technical knowledge/skill of entire generations is perpetuated. Knock it off. Sincerely, An Elder It's Time to Show Respect
