Earlier today I received a phone call from my daughters school that there was a maggot in her macaroni and cheese I made her and my 2 other girls for lunch this morning. My house is VERY clean and we leave nothing out ever. I was shocked and disgusted. When I went to pick up my 3 year old I immediately checked her mac and cheese and there was a worm. My 3 year old, 8 year old and 11 year old ATE WORMS FOR LUNCH! My oldest was sick to her stomach due to the disgust that she ate worms! Even more embarrassing, the principal thinks I have maggots in my home. We looked up the worm and it looks like it is a flour bug.

I really enjoyed this product it has been proven that it is chemical free. It also comes in a vegan option, in comparison to other instant macaroni and cheese this one does not have a weird aftertaste it actually is quite delightful and taste real it does require seasoning.My boys enjoy indulging in this product it is a quick lunch. My two-year-old is a pain picky eater a very picky eater and surprisingly he devours a bowl.This definitely stays in my rotation for my grocery list in often times I pick it up if I walk past if because the price point is very flavorable.
Not a fan of the taste because it was too much for me, like too salty or cheesy and not in a good way in a way that made me want to stop and then try to eat again if you get what i mean. But the pasta is good and soft and I think I should've added some seasoning from my kitchen and played around a bit for it to be good for my taste, also the size is really big and it's enough for 2 people. And I've cooked it all one time and only for me which made. a lot got wasted because i couldn't finish it, sadly that meant I couldn't experience again with it a different way of cooking. And I don't feel like repurchasing.
So, the whole point of their marketing is that this is a better, more healthy alternative to Kraft. Which is simply a lie. If you look at them side by side. It’s almost worse. The flavor is okay, but Kraft is much creamier and tastes much better. Also the cheese has a very sharp smell, which makes sense but it’s a bit off putting, and doesn’t stir in as easy as the competition. I’ll stay with the good stuff, which in fact is also cheaper by almost 30%.

Just picked up a box from Target yesterday and it was so different than previous purchases. First I noticed that the cheese packet didn’t mix up smoothly as it usually does, but was instead very clumpy. Didn’t think that was too big a deal after adding the macaroni, since it looked fine. However on tasting it it had a gritty/grainy texture like fine powder, which made it very unpleasant and basically inedible. Additionally even after sitting here a few minutes after my last bite I still have an awful aftertaste that lingers. Not sure if this was a bad batch or the first try of a reformulated recipe, but I will be returning the other 3 boxes I bought. So disappointing since this was my favorite mac and cheese.
I know it's a strong word but this was terrible. I've been an Annie's fan for decades and this was not the quality I expected.Pasta never seemed to soften and Clumped together. Powdered sauce was thin and almost flavorless. I'm not lactose intolerant so I added a bit of my own cheese but there was no saving it. My chickens loved it if that counts for anything.
