I got these because I wanted more visibility than the standard sized google, but I find that I have trouble fitting them under my helmet. I tried another helmet and had the same issue, the lenses are very big. Another problem that I also saw in other reviews is that it pinches the bridge of my nose. I suspect this could also be because they are large faced and the helmet pushes them down. The lenses are great, came with an extra lens and carrying bag. Just wished they were a hair smaller to fit under a helmet.

Bought M4 sonar infrared set and loved them the first day I had them out. Great fit, great lenses. If I had purchased only the goggles I would have likely given them 5 stars, but there is a nasty secret Burton isnât telling you that only comes to light when you purchase an MFI accessory. At the same time I bought my Anon M4s, I also bought an MFI fleece helmet hood. Unfortunately, even though the packaging on the hood says it is compatible with M4, it requires a secondary XL MFI carrier, sometimes called a magnetic bridge. Burton/Anon sells this part for $25, but has been sold out all summer and is still showing â6+ weeksâ for delivery.Support will tell you the âeasy fixâ is to swap the XL MFI carrier that came with the neck warmer in your original goggle purchase. ... MoreBought M4 sonar infrared set and loved them the first day I had them out. This is an annoying process and takes a couple minutes. They market the lenses as being able to be swapped in seconds, but to swap a neck warmer takes several minutes.Whatâs worse is if you break the XL MFI carrier that came with your original purchase then youâre out of luck until they come back in stock.Anon clearly knows consumers want out of the box compatibility. They ship all MFI accessories with a MFI carrier. Unfortunately they use a very loose definition of âcompatibleâ when describing the M4 line. Ideally they should offer separate line that is compatible with M4 out of the box. Alternatively, a carrier trade-in program would resolve the issue.Anon markets the M4 as being at the top of the line. The lack of compatibility definitely doesnât make it feel that way.

Thanks to the legends at Melbourne Snowboard Centre for the top of the line M4 Anon Toric Goggles, did a bit of research before buying as I currently run a Giro Ledge MIPS helmet and the goggles fit and suit the style of my helmet perfectly. The goggles as many are aware have the quick release magnets to swap lenses depending on weather conditions but found it super easy to do on the fly.Nice hard case for the spare lens and also a soft storage case for the main goggles.I have a narrow face and some would say they are huge but it doesnât really feel like that when they are on your face. Vision is amazing you really dont see the putter frame and have great clear vision in front of you.If your looking to buy a pair and not sure, these will blow your mind away, ... MoreThanks to the legends at Melbourne Snowboard Centre for the top of the line M4 Anon Toric Goggles, did a bit of research before buying as I currently run a Giro Ledge MIPS helmet and the goggles fit and suit the style of my helmet perfectly. Awesome field of view with huge peripheral (side to side) and they fit well on my face. They pair well with both my Red helmet and my Anon helmet with no gap. Magnets for the lens are very strong but also make it very easy to change lenses 1 handed with gloves/mitts on. The carrier system and the mfi is really cool when it's connected to the goggles but when you pull a tight fitting mask down the carrier is a bit annoying under your chin. It's great with looser fitting neck gaiters, mfi hoodies or hoods and the face masks. The one negative for me personally is the price and also I don't like the carrier under my chin on tight fitting baklavas and how that feels. It's great when it's connected to the goggles to pull it off your face a little bit but when you pull the mask down it's very annoying under the chin. I feel like for those baklava masks they should have a non carrier system and just have internal singular magnets that are removable for washing the mask. All in all, the m4 still my favorite goggles and I'm just knit picking. If the Oakley Line Miners get upgraded to a similar magnetic lens system then Anon M4 will need to be improved to stay ahead because I still believe Oakley prizm is the best lowlight lens in the business and there is many team rider variations for consumers to purchase. I don't see that much with the Anons even though they make their own lenses now.

The wide strap sits comfortably on my head and stays securely in place, even during intense runs. The three-layer DriWix foam ensures a comfortable fit against my face, while also wicking away any moisture to prevent discomfort. Finally, the magnetic lens system of these goggles is a game-changer. I love how easy it is to swap out lenses depending on the weather conditions, and the magnets provide a secure and hassle-free connection. Plus, the range of lenses available from Anon means that I can easily find a tint that's perfect for any situation.Overall, I am extremely impressed with the Anon M4 Ski Goggles. They are a top-quality piece of gear that have greatly enhanced my skiing experience. I would highly recommend these goggles to any serious skier or snowboarder looking for the ultimate combination of style, comfort, and functionality.
I'm sure the toric lenses are fantastic for reducing eye fatigue in the long run, but the coating on the inside is incredibly reflective, to the point of being legitimately distracting. I can see my own eyeballs reflected back at me in the lenses, with enough clarity to practically count my eyelashes. Since the point of the goggles is to see OUT of them, having a bright reflection blocking my vision kind of defeats the purpose. All external light sources have multiple halos around them, meaning that snow sparkling in the sun has 10,000 glittering ghosts as well. Very distracting riding experience, to the point of feeling legitimately dangerous.
No question these are the most versatile goggles on the market. Toric and cylindrical lenses are options, the field of view is solid, and the lens change system is unrivaled. The Perceive lenses add contrast and detail in bright and low light. For flaws, on two different lenses there was internal fogging in the top right corner to start, and one situation became significant condensation inside the lens. The MFI mask is way thick and I found it hard to breath in, in addition to just adding lots of bulk around the neck which interfered with zipping up layers.Lastly these are pretty big googles, so they aren't for all face sizes, but thus far they've paired up with several helmets without issue.Overall really good, maybe great, but there's compromises.
I love everything about these goggles. The magnetic lens connects firmly, but doesn't have any annoying extra release switches. The magnetic mask (MFI) connects flawlessly and never contributes to goggle fog. Even better, the dang mask stays out of my mouth. On top of that, the extra lens comes with a kick butt hard case. Note, there is only a soft bag for the goggle itself, so find yourself a hard case if you want one.
These goggles are absolutely great, provided they fit your face, cheek bones, and nose bridge properly. For myself they fit so I can only speak of praises, and are they ever so awesome. The clarify of the lenses are great with the only takeaway is that with flat light things could be better (but then again it's flat light). The MFI tech makes things incredibly easy to swap lenses and having the option to attach the face mask is an additional plus. Only downside of the face mask is that it's like a balaclava in that you have to put it over your head and bring it down to your neck, then attach it. Which isn't a huge deal, but if it magically gets cold on you, that's another thing you'll need to do. With that said, I can speak highly enough of these goggles... now if ... MoreThese goggles are absolutely great, provided they fit your face, cheek bones, and nose bridge properly. I bought these to have better integration with my size L Anon Prime Mips helmet than my Smith Squad goggle. They do fog up less, but pinch my nose a lot more. So far I have been using the cloudy/pink lens, and it works well in snow and cloudy/flat light...a little darker than I would like on storm days, but usable. Haven't tried out the blue variable lens yet. The magnetic lens swap system is awesome, and really easy. I just agree with a post I saw on the Burton site in that I wish these came with an additional protective bag for the spare lens, since spare lenses cost $105 on their own, etc. I bought one for $6 on Amazon, though. I'm 6'3", with a longish, oval face, and not a huge nose or anything, and am always between medium and large helmets. So, these might fit ... MoreI bought these to have better integration with my size L Anon Prime Mips helmet than my Smith Squad goggle. They do fog up less, but pinch my nose a lot more. But, yeah, these really pinch my nose closed hard compared to any other goggle I've worn with this helmet. So, 4 stars if they fit you because of the lack of lens bag. 3 stars for me because they aren't very comfy for me, but work well.
