This helmet was purchased because of the googles in a bundle it had. Wasn't sure how it would be but let me tell ya it's my first year snowboarding and I've fallen a lot! But this helmet has made it so every time I have I haven't hurt my head which is so great. I'd recommend this brand to anyone for you average mountain skier or you adrenaline rush park rat. It's also surprisingly super warm so no need for a beanie or any hat under it. All around I'd say this helmet deserves a 5 star for the quality and is very much worth the price!

Sweet helmet that combines as a skate helmet for the summer time. Can't go wrong. Fits true to size. I have a large and wear a 7 1/2 fitted hat for perspective
So I bought this helmet for my cousin since he just started snowboarding. He completely loved his brand new helmet. I know safety is there utmost importance when learning something new and I think this helmet will suit him well. Evo even price matched and gave an additional 5% to beat competitors pricing.
It's feature-poor.I thought it was a magnetic strap, but it's not.It fits my round head just fine.But it doesn't have a size adjustment feature either.There's also no mesh in the hole at the top, so I think it will get wet in the snow and rain.
As the other reviewer mentioned, major ear pad issues on this helmet. The design is very poorly constructed. The plastic receiver is awkward and the insert portion is far too small to be effective. I will most definitely be looking for a helmet that has the earpads more integrated to the overall helmet. This one is totally unusable on the slopes. I would strongly recommend avoiding this helmet.
Anon helmets are high quality and my latest purchase is of the Anon Raider is no exception. My daughter prefers these helmets when snowboarding because of their comfort, quality and because the look darn good!
it's a nice basic helmet, but may be better for summer sports than winter. the ear pads are removable, and they have these tabs that fit into slots in the helmet. the problem is, they don't click in place at all, so they don't stay attached to the helmet and just drop down onto your face. i just bought this and haven't taken it to the snow yet, but i am pretty sure this would cause endless frustration trying to keep hiking the pads back up into place with gloves on !!
Realized it was defected the first time i put it on. The right ear cushion fell off. I called for warranty but they told me to call burton. Called burton and said i had to ship it back so they can "inspect" it to see if it "qualify" for warranty. They said the process would exceed two weekends depending on shipping. I chose to just rip off the rest of the ear cushion and use it without it as I go every weekend. Now my ears freeze when i go to mammoth but hey on the brightside my skull is safe. 1 Star because I chose to keep the defected item to keep me safe every weekend.
