Decent case for my needs

I would buy this case again, as I like the power supply on the top so as to better draw out hot air. Never could understand why anyone would want a PSU on the bottom of the case mounted upside down, as the power supply draws air out of the case, thru the PSU and out the back. Hot air rises so why draw it back down to a bottom mounted PSU?

Would Steve from Gamers Nexus like this case? Of course not! Do not put a high-end gaming system in here, or anything else that's going to produce a ton of heat. But if you're building a more moderate computer for other purposes, this case is easy to work with, gets the job done, and the price is right.

I would recommend this case for select purposes. Example: Media server Soap Box: Is it a cheaper case? Yes. Is it thin metal? Yes. Would I recommend this as a primary computer case that will be exposed to moves, kids, or more frequent hardware changes? No. If you want that kind of quality then you will need to spend more $$. Overall, for the price, I was very impressed.

Great Case For A Budget
11 September 2019

Seeing the other guy's 1 star review I was worried about this case, but it's as advertised. I needed a simple budget case with a simple classic design since I'm building a retro system, and this does the trick. Three front 5.25 bays, plenty of interior bay space, top mounted power supply, and vented side panel so I can mount a fan for my video cards. The case is barebones, it's super lightweight and the side panels are clearly made with cheap materials, as is the plastic on the front, but I'm not going to be swinging this thing at a baseball game. For the price this is hard to beat.

Looks Good. But not yet in use.

The case appears to be well made, with Antec's usual attention to detail when it comes to making sure that parts fit well and are free of sharp edges. It is lightweight, inexpensive, and has plenty of expansion slots and bays.Interestingly, the case is described as having 3× 5.25 external bays. But once I opened it up, it was clear that the chassis had been designed with 4 bays and only the cheap plastic bezel had been changed for this model. Unfortunately, this is where the power switch and other front-panel accessories are now housed. At first, I thought that there was also a second 3.5 bay that could be accessed by cutting a hole in the plastic, which really excited me, but the entire internal 3.5 bay stack is mounted off-center, so I'd have to cut through the ... MoreThe case appears to be well made, with Antec's usual attention to detail when it comes to making sure that parts fit well and are free of sharp edges. Nice Case for the price - Lightweight and great features
16 July 2020

This is actually a very nice design, surprisingly lighter, but not lacking any features. Every detail, and possibility, is there, plenty of drive options. Slightly shorter and thinner than other designs that take unnecessary space. Feels solid. Comes with the proper screews. And what is most surprising, UPS didn't (or couldn't) ruin it like they did with other cases I had ordered in the past.

Simple case standard case.
24 May 2017

Since I'm not to worried how pretty it looks since it will just sit in my entertainment center. Instead of dealing with the hassle of sending it back I was able to bend and twist the metal back to get everything to seat right. Would have given a higher rating if the case came in better condition. It still gets the job done though.

Solid case with great features
17 August 2020

If you are looking for a solid case to hold your PC, this is it. It's not a fancy case with lights all over, but it does the job well. I have this in an office and like the lack of lights. Would buy again for my next build.

For a $25 PC case, I think I would have given a 2 or 3 star review had it not broken in transit. However, when I received it, the front panel had broken off due to the mounting brackets of the front panel being made of flimsy plastic (think Easter Egg plastic). The power supply area has a single strip of foam held down to a metal bracket with some adhesive and that's about the best feature in this case. The single fan included in the case is loud and the mounting for the power supply is awkward. It doesn't quite line up with the mounting holes (even with the aforementioned metal bracket), so you have to position the power supply awkwardly with one hand while you screw in the first screw with the other. Also, the screws. Why are there three different head types on screws with the same threading and thickness? They are all interchangeable. No real room for cable management, even though there are holes that look designed for it. But for a $25 case, I don't think I should expect any realistic solution. I bought this to fit a new build into a pre-determined budget, knowing I'd have to buy another one. But honestly, I wish I had just been able to spend another $10 for literally any other case.

well suited for demanding applications
30 January 2019

does a great job for a server configuration. I am a repeat customer for this computer case with the anticipation of adding another file server to the network. The previous build consists of 4 NAS HDD, 1 SDD for the operating system, Antec 650w power supply [installed over the m-board, intelligently designed by Antec - heat rises & power supplies have no place at the bottom of the computer case], added extra fans for efficient cooling and the DVD. I was able to neatly dress the SATA & power supply cables to maximize the airflow within the cabinet and I might add that overheating doesn't happen to any components.
