I thought the glass beads were in each individual square. They are not so the beads end up to one side. You always have to even them through the blanket. Zipper cover so can easily be washed. My hubby liked the 7 kg. I got the 5 kg. Soft cover.

This blanket was a godsend for my 2 year old girl twin. She is extremely cuddly and clingy and this provided her that extra comfort to help her sleep at night.She refused to use any other blanket at home, and then I found out she was sleeping with a weighted blanket at daycare for her day sleeps! Once I purchased and showed her this blanket at home, she took to it straight away and loves it for her sleeps[emoticon][emoticon]

So good so far. I bought this blanket about a month ago for my son who has ASD and generally sleeps very lightly, waking at the slightest noise. He definitely likes it and does seem to be sleeping more deeply.The quality appears to be very good & my son, who has sensitivity with many fabrics, is fine with the blanket & cover fabrics.I like that the blanket has 10 attachment points in the cover so it doesn’t move around and get bunched up in there. It was fiddly to tie 10 little bows but that’s ok if they stay done up and attached which they have so far.The sand or whatever is used in the blanket does seem to me to move & create heavier spots that can be evened back out easily by laying the blanket flat but maybe it’s my imagination - my son isn’t bothered by it ... MoreSo good so far. The best thing I have ever brought. Beautiful colour and the material is so soft. I am extremely happy that there is a washable cover. Ordering my blanket was hassle free and simple. I was also surprised how quickly my blanket arrived, with in 3 days of my order. Now that was great especially in these current times. Thank you very much.

I purchased the weighted blanket based on my weight, which has dropped since then, but although it feels fantastic once it is on me, and certainly helps with the symptoms of Restless Legs Syndrome, it is too heavy for me to lift up or to fold once I have finished using it.I must have very weak arms.Anyway, I am going to purchase two more for my son and his partner but I am giving him the one I purchased and get the 5kg one for me. I think it will still work as well but I will be able to lift it.

Comes with cover for you to put on but its super easy with the inner ties. I wish all doona covers were like this! Quite weighty, says buy close to 10% body weight. Cant stand for all night but nice for taking a nap with, especially on cold days. Well m

On the surface this blanket appears great however the blanket is weighted by glass beads that are the size of large grains of sand. The weave of the fabric that makes the blanket is not tight enough to contain these glass beads and as such we now have hundreds of these glass beads throughout our bedding, carpet and furniture. Not only are these beads annoying and messy but I also believe that they pose a safety concern on many levels. Steer clear of this blanket as it increases the anxiety that it's supposed to combat.

Received this weight blanket within a week of ordering - Victoria to regional sa! Brilliant as a calming blanket for my adult daughter, reduces tremors for a recently diagnosed neurological disorder and helps her to sleep. Weighted beads stay in their place and easy to remove cover for washing is awesome. I also purchased a second one for travelling because it is so comfy and economical.
