I love makeup. I love it so much, I wear it every day. I even wear it when I’m home and not going anywhere! I find applying it has a calming effect on me. The one thing I love just as much as makeup, is having a clean face at the end of the day. Using the hallelujah lime & patchouli cleanser and makeup remover is easy and it smells amazing. It’s very effective in getting my eyeliner off as well as waterproof mascara. Game changer

I don’t want to say how good this product is in case it gets any more popular and I can’t buy it!One month ago my forehead and cheeks were extremely dry, flaky and red. Somehow it was like overnight I had suddenly become allergic to my usual wash off foaming cleanser after so many years. Wearing a face mask had also exacerbated my dry skin.I thought I’d give a cream cleanser a go and WOW. This has been a game changer I cannot tell you. My skin now looks amazing, it is back to normal and plump, I cannot get enough of this product.I rub the cleanser into my skin before I go into the shower and use a wet face flannel to remove all my makeup beautifully. The smell puts me in my happy place. Thank you Antipodes.

Great first step cleanser

As I like double cleansing if I had makeup all day this is my first routine cleanser. Very rich and fragrant, but...If you don't like patchouli essential oil then definitely it's not your cup of tea. Luckily I like patchouli so I enjoy my evening beauty ritual.Also I think is more suited for mature or dry/normal skin. Hallelujah isn't cleansing milk consistency but cream. Rich cream.So- not really suitable for combination/oily skin.1star less because at the end I wasn't able to get the cream out of bottle. It was not cream anymore but almost butter lol As a creative person I found solution:)

If Only It Wasn't in a Bottle

I love the Hallelujah cleanser & makeup removed itself and use it daily. The only downside to the overall product is that it comes in a pump bottle.Because of the thick consistency, it doesn't pump up well when it gets to the last 2cm in the bottle. I've had to tilt it so that it comes closer to the opening and spoon it out.Please, pleeaaase consider changing this to a jar or tube!!

Lovely

I honestly don’t know why this product is so magical. I do know that when I was following a simple routine of this cleanser followed with plain rosewater then the Vanilla Pod moisturizer, my skin looked radiant, flawless, to the point where I quit wearing foundation. That is quite an accomplishment for my nearly 70 year old face and a testament to the efficacy of the product. I do not wear a full face of makeup so I’m not sure how it would perform for that. The sensory experience is delightful, I love the earthy scent, I take it off with a wet washcloth. I would have knocked off a star for the high price but I did find a bottle lasted me a good while. I’ve since tried other creamy cleansers but lost my glow, so I suppose I will have to bite the bullet and repurchase.

My favourite cleanser

I love using this, it smells great and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. The cleanser has a silky smooth texture which I massage over my face and then add a little water to make it easier to use, then rinse off. No irritation for me which is a blessing and the smell is divine and not overpowering. I always use a specific eye make-up remover so can't comment on this products performance in that respect. So pleased that H&B stock this range.

New favourite

I was looking for an alternative to my trusted Clinique Take The Day Off cleanser and this did not disappoint. Although felt a bit different at first, this cleanser managed to remove all my make up, including a fair amount of mascara. I feel this is best using a flannel. After cleansing, my skin does not feel tight in any way. I also quite like like the light fragrance. Only drawback in my view is the pump - it is sturdy enough but second pump often requires a couple of tries, probably because the cleanser is a bit thick. Not enough of an issue to put me off and have already repurchased this product. Bonus point for the glass container which can be recycled.

Wonderful cleanser

I have oily skin and has been using this for a short time but am pretty happy with the result. It is gentle and cleanses well. I does not dry out the skin. I use it in the morning and evening and it seems to guard against break-outs! Only giving it 4 starts because it seems to struggle a bit cleaning out waterproof make-up.
