Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream 15 ml

I use the cream during winter as it’s thick, hydrating and leaves skin feeling soft and supple. I carried this cream during a USA trip where we went skiing trip. During my trip which as you can imagine was cold, windy with the propensity for skin to become dry and chapped- using this cream saved my skin. The cream has a beautiful vanilla/cake batter smell. I usually don’t wear fragranced skincare but enjoy the subtle smell of this cream. Some of the other Antipodes products can have heavy fragrance but this is simple beautiful to wear.I can’t speak highly of Antipodes especially the natural ingredients used as well as the price point being highly affordable.This review originally appeared on antipodesnature.com

Completely converted

I came across this brand as a coincidence while looking for some moisturiser. As it was on sale and sample sized, I thought I’d give it a try. Best.Decision.Ever. My skin looks amazing!!! I now look forward to applying my oil and the corresponding cream( night or day). When I wake up in the morning my skin GLOWS!!! The avocado oil especially is amazing. It’s so moisturising and I can even feel the difference it has made to my lips. Also, all products smell amazing I’m getting a second set and also one for my mother as it’s on sale. Also, delivery was super quick-with in 1 day, so didn’t have to wait long to trial the products. If you are hesitant, just give it a try. You will not regret it!!!

Delightful Day Cream

A nice, nourishing cream. The consistency and feel on the skin is slightly heavier than other creams I use, but still absorbs well into my combination/oily skin. The scent is a delicious vanilla/citrus, but it could become too much with repeated use or if you are sensitive to those scents.

Do it!

I will but this again. The small tube (which I bought to see if I liked it) has a lot in it. It’s a lovely consistency that soaks in easily and doesn’t leave a residue on the skin. It smells nice but is not scented too strongly. It doesn’t block pores or cause any pimples, and it keeps the skin well moisturised the whole day. It is also ok directly underneath makeup. I have tried and tested this cream for a while now and it’s definitely now my favourite.

Lovely day cream for cooler months

This product review was left on the full-sized version: This cream is really lovely for when my skin needs a little TLC. It's quite rich and thick so a little goes a long way and I love the subtle scent. I use it whenever my skin is feeling tired, dry or in the colder months when skin needs a little more protection and nourishment. I often wear it under primer and makeup and it doesn't feel heavy. I have combination but sensitive skin and I can't fault this product. I do find I get more little pimples but I use other products for that anyway so it's not an issue.

This product review was left on the full-sized version: I have been Antipodes users for about 2 years now. First got into this cream when I got a small sample from a purchase. Wow wow and wow. I just love it. It is like love at first sight! The texture and the smell is just divine. The effect on the skin is also good, after a few weeks I start seeing better complexion. It gets absorbed quickly into the skin without the stickiness. Really makes my skin soft. And knowing I am using a product that is not only good for my skin but also for my health is a real plus.

Velvety, hydrating and long lasting.

I have combination skin that is prone to breakouts, especially hormonal ones and this moisturiser is beautiful. The texture of the cream is really velvety and hydrating, has a nice weight on the skin and the effects are long lasting. I was expecting more of a vanilla scent but this was still nice and dissipates quickly. The size is perfect if it's in your travel kit or you want to trial but I found I went through it really quickly as I was using it day and night.
