Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream 60 ml

I use the cream during winter as it’s thick, hydrating and leaves skin feeling soft and supple. I carried this cream during a USA trip where we went skiing trip. During my trip which as you can imagine was cold, windy with the propensity for skin to become dry and chapped- using this cream saved my skin. The cream has a beautiful vanilla/cake batter smell. I usually don’t wear fragranced skincare but enjoy the subtle smell of this cream. Some of the other Antipodes products can have heavy fragrance but this is simple beautiful to wear.I can’t speak highly of Antipodes especially the natural ingredients used as well as the price point being highly affordable.This review originally appeared on antipodesnature.com

When I compared this to the other Antipodes cream I used, the Avocado and Pear night time cream, I feel like this didn’t have as much of a dramatic effect, but it was definitely a lot easier to use in terms of the texture and scent. It could be that since my skin was already looking better, there wasn’t as much that this cream could do. I did have some breakouts with it, so again I wouldn’t recommend this for oily or combination skin, but for very dry skin this has no downsides!Summary - Overall, when it comes to dry or damaged skin, this cream is a brilliant and targeted treatment that will massively improve it. Those with oily or combination skin shouldn’t buy this product, in my opinion.Pros:+ Brilliant for dry or damaged skin or those with a skin condition.+ Jar is glass.+ Natural and vegetarian.+ Texture was comfortable and smell wasn’t bad.Cons:- Can cause breakouts or make skin more oily when it comes to combination skin or oily skin (Would not use on these skin types.)Recommended: Highly recommended for dry or damaged skin. Not for other skin types.

Absolute skin saviour for dry skin

My skin has been through a lot lately, after using something that just wasn’t rich enough and which left my dry skin sensitised. I use this as my day cream, in combination with the Avocado Pear Night Cream. The two together have rescued my dry skin completely! It’s light textured yet deeply nourishing and prevents dehydration during to day too. My skin is back to feeling soft, comfortable and moisturised. I love it!

Lovely day cream for cooler months

This product review was left on the full-sized version: This cream is really lovely for when my skin needs a little TLC. It's quite rich and thick so a little goes a long way and I love the subtle scent. I use it whenever my skin is feeling tired, dry or in the colder months when skin needs a little more protection and nourishment. I often wear it under primer and makeup and it doesn't feel heavy. I have combination but sensitive skin and I can't fault this product. I do find I get more little pimples but I use other products for that anyway so it's not an issue.
