a bit strong on my dry skin

I have dry, redness prone skin with hormonal breakouts. I heard such raving reviews about this cleanser, but I don't know what it is about it that almost stings when I use it. the ingredients are amazing, it feels thick and luxurious, I just can't say anything about the break out benefits because I can't even use it daily as it dries me out too much. my skin does well with BHA and strong actives, so for me it's probably something else in the formula. I do still use it when I feel like I want a deeper cleanse to follow my oil or cream cleanser, and I can't say it's a bad product at all, I'd just recommend it more to someone with very oily skin that doesn't tend to get sensitive or dry.

good daily cleanser

while ive heard some professionals recommend not using salicylic acid products (or other exfoliants) daily i find that it works really well for my skin. i have oily, clog prone skin however i dont deal with acne so im not sure how itll preform for those looking to calm irritation and prevent breakouts. this cleanser quite rich in texture and feels very satisfying and smooth to massage onto the skin- im always excited to use it lol. though it has tiny herb particles in it that could potentially cause a tiny bit of irritation when pressed down onto the skin, i find it super gentle. however, for those who have sensitive skin- this product does contain fragrance, so beware if youre sensitive to that:) overall decent product, would buy again.
