I am loving the extra screen space of a 34" ultrawide for office work. For games it's much faster than my old 60hz monitor, though to get 144hz with my poor old graphics card 1050ti I have dropped the in-game resolution to a custom size of either 1720x720 or 2752x1152 - letting the monitor cleanly upscale the image back to 3440x1440 which it does very well, but I'm looking forwards to a graphics card upgrade because games at true 1440 with high settings look stunning. I was sceptical that I'd really notice the difference from 1080 to 1440, but I was wrong - it's amazing. Overall disappointed with the quality. There is a lot of backlight bleeding at the edges, which spoils the viewing experience in all light scenes. Very noticeable if you look at documents. The shading also changes dramatically if you move your head a short distance. The screen curvature itself is ok, but more curvature would be much better. This isn't my first ultrawide monitor, but it's definitely disappointing. I would not recommend this monitor.

This monitor also has a rather low input latency for a VA panel and minimal smearing in dark areas.That said this monitor still suffers from several issues. Games will flicker when free sync is engaged, if the fps fluctuates to much or LFC is engaged. In addition to that the brightness doesn't reached the advertised level, which make the HDR experience even worse than what it actually is, especially since true HDR starts at 400 cd/m² and not 300. Good ultrawide screen, I bought it for my simracing setup and I'm pretty happy with it even if there are few issues like HDR not working, scratches at the bottom but it's not enough to justify a send back (at least for now because I have a feeling it's an already used screen paid at full price).Now I'm kinda pissed because I bought the screen for 399 on 6.11.2023 and just a couple of day later the screen droped to 335 without any discount ??? I feel like I bought the end of the stock (and maybe an already used screen by the look of the scratches ??) Screen is good for the price but I feel scammed by Digitec...
I am not a big gamer; I got this monitor as an additional monitor/upgrade for business, with the occasional gaming. For what I have used it for, it is a great monitor and provides ample real estate for my business applications. For the one game I have played on it, the monitor was great! I didn't see any tearing or ghosting and it was very responsive.I have not yet spent much time on the different settings of the monitor, and I have a feeling that I may find some additional nuances once I am able to explore more of it.I have added this monitor to a triple-monitor setup (3 on the bottom, this monitor on the top), and it looks absolutely stunning!

Recommend utilise the DisplayPort as better frame rates although the HDMI is good.The height adjustment, tilt and rake are good.Assembly is toolless and took less than one minute.Packaging is excellent, with a clear band strip of plastic around the polystyrene like a handle, which makes it easy to pull the unit out of the external packaging. I've still got an old AOC monitor working that I have had more than 25 years, so when I wanted an ultrawide this affected my choice of brand. While I have nothing modern to compare it with, I am very pleased with the quality and resolution of the device. My video editing software works much better for me spread out over the larger screen area.
All the features in this monitor were exactly what I was looking for. What I did not expect was how poor its build quality was. Merely two months after buying it I was remodeling my room, and I temporarily relocated it to a corner of the room where I thought it would be safe, and by the time I was done with my remodel and put the monitor back I noticed it had two marks on the screen; somehow, I guess I must have accidentally bumped the monitor against something and it damage the screen. Even more disappointing was to find out that my Best Buy total tech membership, which is the top-of-the-line protection plan does not cover accidental damage so I just dumped $400 in the trash.
