This is replacing a recently failed Back-UPS 700 also by APC. It is a similarly spec model but is considerably longer (and a bit shorter) than the 700. It may be the same volume (?) but it appears to be larger and may not be suitable if the surface it is being placed on is not deep. Also the status indicator on the front has two long vertical bars which are quite bright so I would not like to locate this unit near a TV unit.

Got this for my Ubiquiti Unifi Network system. Really got it for its surge protection.

Works well, powers our NVR with 2 4k cameras plus modem/router, 10gig switch and laptop Plex server for 30-40 min (about 45w total power draw)Has been sitting in a dusty room and handles it fine, bit of a complex way to reset when overloaded (only happened once when I plugged an 1800w drop saw into it). Replacement battery also seems easy enough to source when that's required in 3 or so years

Easy to set up. Has already shown its worth when a circuit breaker tripped.
