Great price for this product from Complete Aquatics. One of the cheapest places to get it on the internet and definitely much cheaper than in any of the local pet shops or aquatics centres near me.

The 16 oz bottle is sufficient for a 20 high or low aquarium and it will last a very long time. So far it has proven to be effective as an additive to my tap water to facilitate adding additional water to maintain a constant level of water within my 20 high aquarium. I rated this product as a 4 because I don’t believe any product is a 5 unless it is absolutely OUTSTANDING!

API Tap Water Conditioner - An awesome product and a must have.

I have been using the API Tap Water Conditioner for 11 years since I first started keeping goldfish as pets. I found that the conditioner works like a charm without having to age water first. When I clean the fish tank and add new water from the tap, I pour in 3/4 to 1 capful of conditioner for 40 gallons. I usually do a 80% water change for the goldfish. I know some people say to just do a 25% weekly water change but goldfish are very dirty and it also depends on how many you have. There is enough beneficial bacteria in the filter and decorations and my fish are very healthy and happy. The solution is highly concentrated and a little goes a long ways. Been usisng for eight years!

I have been using this in my fish tanks for eight years. I have a Crucian Goldfish (Goldie) & a Common Plecostomus (Tiger) in a 75-gallon tank; both of these fish started out in a 10-gallon tank in 2010..lol...we are really hoping they do not get any bigger. Additionally, we have two small goldfish in a 10-gallon tank that I was given on March 7, 2017 (not quite a year old). API Tap Water Conditioner works pretty well, even for goldfish.

Good Value

This product is more concentrated than other brands. You use 10 ml in a 50 gallon tank, where you use 50 ml with other brands. We have 2-50 gallon & 1-125 gallon tanks, so a good product at a good value is important to us.

Should come with a dropper

Says add 1ml per 20 gallons and add 5ml per 30 gallons which i don't get how the math works out there...I have a 10 gallon tank so need 1/2ML to treat a full tank. Well you only treat a full tank once and I need to only do 1-2 gallon water change a week. So I got an eye dropper and dumped it out and filled it with this. I found that 40 drops make 1ml. So what I do is add 3-4 drops per gallon when water changing.Putting it in a dropper is a good idea otherwise your going to be using more than you need which won't hurt the fish but its wasting you money. The measuring for this bottle is only good if you have a big tank and do 20+ gallon water changes.

Super Strength for 10 gal, Risky

I carefully put this in my tank but was positive it would be okay when I read all the positive reviews, its a different water conditioner than what I normally use ( non super strength). I put in a little bit as directed and a week later two of my bettas died. They were fine before I started using this product. I dont even want to try using this on my other tanks. Beware.

Experience was good as my shrimps were dying after water change. After adding this post water change not seen any problem with Shrimps.

My first aquarium! I bought a great one that has the requited separate tanks for my 3 Beta fish. Lots of joy from watching them! I definitely needed to condition my tank water for them.This is a great buy and value! Point being, my fish are happily swimming around safely!
