It does not come with fuel so you need to buy butane and refill it. I have used it to release mousses from moles and it comes in handy. The flame is pretty small, though it might be because I’m too cautious with it, being my first torch and all. If you are getting butane refill, try alternative nozzles on the cap to find the one that fits.

This is my second cooks blow torch because it’s so useful I needed another one . I use one for cooking , browning off the surface or caramelising creme brûlée . I use my other one for my art practise to achieve an amazing effect with poured paint by quickly wafting the torch across the surface of the artwork while still wet . I also use it to get rid of bubbles in a certain type of surface I have used to give my work a thick glossy surface . This blow torch is incredibly useful !!
This is a terribly made dangerous tool. Worked ok to start but on the second use the gas regulator wouldn’t shut off the gas and literally had to wait until it burned through all the gas in the bottle.
This blowtorch works perfectly, it is easy to fill, easy to use and is so small and easy to work with. I made perfect crème brûlée with it and can’t wait to make more dishes!
Best creme brulee torch ever. This is the 2nd one I've bought and I use them for lighting candles, mozzie coils, my wood bbq. They're much more economical than buying wand lighters in the supermarket
I had this for a few months it was simple and easy to use. I’m a chef by trade so I know how to handle a blow torch. I was prepared however for this small thing to get stuck ON. I couldn’t find any help or contact for the manufactures and have been left wary of the brand.
I couldn’t use it more than once. The lock key doesn’t work and was unable to turn off the fire. Had wait till gas ran out to turn off the torch. Very disappointing. Waste of money.
In the description, it didn't mention that you need to fill it with gas first, So when I got it I assumed it came with a bit of gas in it but it doesn't. So now I had to go look for butane gas and fill it up then it worked.The gas knob has no instruction on/near it, so you just have to figure it out when you light it up. The is a lock sign on it for safety. Honestly, just a very cheap design.
