Okay for its price

Works as well as a cheap garlic mincer. When you rice the potato ot seems as though the actual press plate is smaller then the mincer so chunks of unriced potato come towards your hand while in use.

Piece of junk

I bought this ricer, thought it would be good. I got it and used it that night. It was the flimsiest piece of junk, it bent without being rough with it, the first time I used it. Straight in the bin it went. Do not buy it, you will regret wasting your money like I did as soon as it bent like a cheap piece of junk metal. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

Poor quality

The river bent st the first use. The handle was weak and collapsed.

This products works well I have used a plastic one previously and it snapped this one is very durable well priced and it was delivered in no time at all. I would highly recommend this product.

Fabulous product! This utensil makes mashing potatos so much easier, my arthritic wrists struggle with the regular mashing motion.

Waste of money

Waste of money. It's flimsy, awkward to use and not quite what I was expecting. I've watched too many cooking shows on TV with chefs saying how they great they are for perfect mashed potato. So, I decided I needed one of these things. This particular item is another good example of "You really do get what you pay for". It was only $18. I used to think Harris Scarf sold good quality items, nowadays, they are just selling cheap and cheerful. This feels flimsy, is messy, has relatively sharp edges and just takes forever to squish your potatoes. Save your money and either buy a higher quality item or stick to the tried-and-true method using a good potato masher and fork, which does an excellent job in a quarter of the time.
