Product is genuine due to the premium look of the packaging and the fonts used, which is typical of Apple. Purpose of this is to slowly charge my laptop. Battery will last longer due to less heat emitted when a slow charger is used. Delivered in 2 days in good condition. Thanks to the seller, Lazada and the courier.

I got this for my wife because she was constantly using my iPad charger to charge her phone because it's so much faster than the regular cube. Be aware you will need a USB-C to Lightening cord (or adapter) to use this if you don't have the most current phone. I missed that detail so had to pick up said cord. No big deal though.

I'm giving this charger 5 stars because it is good quality and I had no issues charging smaller devices with it. However, I want to clarify that this will NOT work to charge your Macbook Pro. It's confusing because it does show up in the search results when you look for "macbook pro charger", but It's simply not powerful enough to charge Pro models.According to Apple's website, they recommend using this charger with "the 12-inch MacBook or the 13-inch MacBook Air with Retina display, and select iPhone and iPad Pro models". I do wish that Target shared this information on its website, as it would have saved me a return trip. My Macbook Pro didn't charge at all with this while in use. When I put it in sleep mode and left it alone, it did charge very slowly-- I had about 30% charge after 1 hour. It's tempting because it's cheaper than the 61W or 96W, but the lack of functionality isn't worth it. Again, that's if you are planning to use this for a Macbook PRO-- other models of Macbook should be able to charge with it more easily. Hope that helps you decide if this charger is right for you.

Before then, I made a recent error of using third USB-C plugs on my M1, always too slow, never charge, and eventually the laptop would not accept power charging anymore. After purchasing this item (with the Apple USB-C branded cable) charging was super fast and much more convenient for my laptop. You even don't need to wait a few minutes when plugging the laptop dead. The laptop will boot right back up. Highly recommended.
What I learnt is that 30watts is the bare minimum if you want to charge newer iPhones with big batteries. Anything less is pretty much useless and will not give you usable charging speed. This is my second Apple charger and has worked well for me. Two of these chargers are our daily use gadgets. I don’t know there might be better chargers out there that can stop charging once the battery is Gil but I don’t know about them. Sadly Apple chargers are still missing this feature something Samsung chargers have had for quite some time now.Apple needs to catch up faster not take ages to bring much needed features to its products since it’s charging a premium for them.
The Apple 30W USB-C Power Adapter in White is a sleek and efficient solution for charging your devices. Its compact design makes it perfect for on-the-go use, while delivering fast and reliable charging for your Apple devices. With its compatibility across a range of products, you can trust it to power up your MacBook Air, iPad Pro, or iPhone swiftly and safely. Say goodbye to long charging times and hello to convenience with this powerful adapter from Apple.
I bought a new phone about a month ago, and since it didn’t come with its own charger, I have decided to use an old charger instead of buying a new one. However, the iPhone 15 needs a lot of power, and it was taking forever to charge. So, I bought this charger, and I have no regrets—it works like a charm and charges the phone much faster!
I don’t have a problem with the product except it’s not compatible with my laptop and Best Buy would not take the unopened package back because it was a few days after their return policy of 14 days. I’m going to Target for anything I need. Target is customer friendly. Best Buy is awful.
Lots of good things about it, but some not so hot. It is strangely inconsistent in calculating calories and steps when using an elliptical trainer. Same amount of time, and calories range from 35-250. Stairs climbed totally out of it. Still nice to have.
Nice 30w charger. I bought these to begin to replace the 12w chargers I have been using since iPads and iPhones are migrating to a higher output charger. USB-C output connector which is annoying since ALL of my current cables have the regular USB connector. Still uses the standard duck-head AC adapters for international use, a plus.I believe the EU is mandating USB-C connectors starting next year on phones and the like, as a way of reducing electronic waste. I could argue it will just create more waste through obsolescence, but that’s not my fight. I expected the rest of the world will follow suit moving to USB-C.Charger gets a bit warmer than my 12w units, but not hot to the touch.Somehow there are two models for the same 30w charger, MY1W2AM/A is the older ... Not sure what the differences are, perhaps just an updated design or different vendor.Size wise, the 30w is larger than the 12w, but not noticeably from a distance. The only con is the USB-C connector on the charger, but making connector changes is pretty much a trademark for Apple.
