That being said; future advice would be to take it one step further on the "verification" by contacting Apple and confirming the serial number validity. They would confirm both the date purchased as well as the colour. This information could then be used to cross-reference what the seller is providing.

Honestly was shocked at the quality of the ability to drown out all outside noise while music is playing.Even without music playing, it does a really good job with the noise cancelling, my wife actually has sensory issues and she had to fly by herself this past weekend and was DREADING it but she said she wore these the entire weekend and had ZERO issues what so ever.Now let’s talk about the quality, these headphones do have really good sound quality and really brings out the all the instruments in songs. Sometimes I do wish they would go just a little louder but I know that apple just did that so they wouldn’t damage your ears. These headphones do actually show if the music volume is harmful or not to your ears

AirPod came in with scratches, and beat up.

I received this yesterday they paired fine. Must follow instructions. I am however disappointed from the fact that after reviewing others they have gotten replacements that look like new. Mine was scratched up looks very worn out. It has seen better days. I wish they had an option similar to Amazon where you have a choice with a price difference. Excellent condition, good condition, fair condition. This air pod would fall under damaged. And not allowed for resale. I usually purchase excellent since I like to take care of my devices. Sad 🙁🙁

Christmas gift

I like them my dad brought me them for Christmas. I could have them on the lowest volume with the noise cancellation and I can barley hear anything. while with the transparency mode, it feels like I don’t even have the headphones on because it is an very clear sound of the real world. And the music bass is so good, it feels like Im actually next to the artists that I am listening too. One thing though is that definitely 500$ isn’t really a good price for them. I think they should lower it down. But I love them! Got them in pink (Made this review on my dads Best Buy)

Excellent Headphones

I bought two of these as gifts via open box from BB, and I did not realize that the “Excellent” but not “Excellent - Certified” most likely means that they will be tied to someone else’s AppleID. I had to connect to both in order to confirm that they were tied to another AppleID, thus giving my location to two people I do not know. Indeed, they were, which was unfortunate, as I would have just bought new ones instead of Open Box, which made for a disappointing gift m. Though a Total Tech Member, BB wasn’t all that helpful in getting new ones ordered.As for the headphones, they will work even if tied to another AppleID, and they are amazing. The noise cancelling function was the best I’ve ever heard. Glad I ordered new ones that will be tied to my own Apple ID.

Great headphones. Could’ve come with a better case

They are a bit on the pricey side, but these headphones work amazing. The noise cancelling features are powerful and easy to use, the bass is quality, and the mid and high frequency sounds come through clear as well. The ear pads are super comfy as well and, even though my girlfriend wears glasses, she never complains about the headphones causing discomfort. Battery life is good and the carrying case adequate, though a bit impractical. It would have made more sense for them to come in a padded zipper case in my opinion, especially considering the price.

I really love the bass and the Spatialize Stereo head tracked that the audio change from left to right when you move your head. I know it’s risky when you can’t try it by testing it yourself whether you will like it or not. Stellar noise cancellation; bass could be better

These are my newfound favorite headphones. The noise-cancelling tech is out of this world. For reference, I wore these while washing the dishes (pots and pans, no less). And while listening to music with noise cancellation on, I couldn't even hear the water running.When it's totally quiet (as in, no music playing), even with noise cancellation on, I can hear a little bit. It does sound muffled and very far away, but if someone is within arms reach and talking, there is definitely a murmur.That's why I knocked it down one star.ALSO - the bass isn't the *best*. I love all the features and settings from within my iPhone. I really like how seamlessly I can switch from iPhone to Watch to Apple TV. My Apple TV recognizes that the headphones are out and active and prompts to connect to them automatically. It took some tweaking with the EQ to get the exact sound I want to hear from music. For me personally, I found the treble to be less, and the Treble Boost EQ fixed that. The spatial audio can be weird at times because voices can be drowned out by a lot of the ambience noise or instruments - but that could an issue with that particular show or song ... MoreLove the color.
