I purchased this key ring because it is tasteful, and carbon friendly, but the price seemed a bit high. I give this a 4.5 because it's aesthetics are tasteful. I purchased this product so my wife could find her keys with the Apple tracker. It is amazing that they can weave and mold a carbon neutral product like this.
The key ring holds an Apple AirTag securely and is easy to instal. Like many Apple products there are cheaper alternatives but this gives the impression of solid construction and 'lastability.' The store had a choice of two colours, with the holder fitting snugly onto the key ring which can make it a bit tight if you have a lots of keys. I found this easy to fix by connecting my usual key ring to this one.
I bought this keyring to safeguard my car key. I have the same product but in tan leather for my house keys. The Apple Air Tag fits securely in the keyring and is unobtrusive but stylish. I have only one car key and to replace it will cost around ÂŁ500 so it makes perfect sense to invest in an air tag keyring and an air tag. Excellent, crafted quality that will last for years. I thoroughly recommend this product for its quality, build and giving total piece of mind
Y’all have got to read the description. Of course it doesn’t come with the air tag that’s why it says “key ring”. It’s like buying an iPhone case and complaining the iPhone isn’t included. OF COURSE ITS NOT. Anyways, it’s a great case. Very sleek.
If you read the item description it clearly states that “air tag not included”. I personally prefer the older leather versions of the AirTag key rings. These new ones are nice and I would recommend getting them on sale
I ordered this to put on my car keys. I have the type of car where the keys just need to be inside the car for it to turn on, rather than the traditional key in ignition type. I'm glad I have an easy way of locating my keys if I've forgotten where I laid them down. The ringing feature is super handy, where you can 'call' the AirTag and it will ring so you can follow the noise.
It is obviously compatible with the AirTag because its an Apple product but it is hardly worth the asking price. The fact that its leather is nice and after continued use I expect the stiffness of the leather might soften a bit. Still, unless having a leather key ring is important to you, id say your money would be better spent on a basic key ring by a non OEM manufacturer of which there are a lot out there. I also have an a non OEM AirTag fob that is not leather that i use for my car keys and it works just as fine. This item is probably more novelty than the value of the asking price suggests.
