Apple HomePod Midnight

I always wanted one of the original HomePods, but sadly they weren't sold in NZ. I have Sonos speakers currently, and they're great. The HomePod is on another level in terms of soundscape and low end thump. I have this placed in the middle of my downstairs area and it has easily replaced the 2 Sonos One's that I had in the same space. Nice open sound, plenty of bass and the 360 sound coverage is great. The HomePod makes me want to play music, which is obviously a sign that it does what it should. The smart home part is good also, I use it to control Phillips Hue lights around the house. Siri is also noticeable faster than the smaller HomePod Mini's. Echo's and google home products might have better virtual assistants, but none of them sound better than this.

was buying on behalf and was worried I couldn't receive it in time before the person leaves the country, the after sales support service was top notch and kept assuring me that it would be shipped within the next day and followed up after that also. Product received promptly and in perfect condition. Happy that I bought it from PB Tech and not somewhere else. Thanks

Excellent sound system

The sound quality is exceptional, with the bass seemingly filling up the space. However, to fully unlock its performance, the Apple TV 4K is a must-have.

A few issues after what was an easy set up, a few bugs with sound, the circle of death constantly, even after updates. Restarting helped. I found the sound somewhat underwhelming when paired with Apple TV '21, I purchased the latest Apple TV '22 and paired with this box the sound is noticeably better, and no lagging or bugs. Music sounds ok. Siri works ok. Intergates well with Home app. HomePods are my default audio setting for my Apple TV and I've relocated my HomePod minis to our dining room and bedroom.

Sound is awesome. Bass really makes it worth the $

Got this yesterday and its awesome. A little pricy yes but quality product with great sound. Note that when I first took delivery it was dropping bluetooth a LOT - update formware to 16.3 and issue has gone away.
