And I bought the first iPad commercially available. I have tried other notepad devices but he’s always preferred Apple, and I agree. They have always been more intuitively designed. But costs of purchasing and maintaining are awful. Not as awful and frustrating as the experience of being unable to communicate…but still. The only case tough enough interferes with efforts to communicate, and that is the opposite of what we want to do. I have been told for years not to bother—too expensive and difficult to maintain. But I think it’s much more difficult not to have communication. The iPads are the voice of my son and so I have to continue to try and find the money to support his efforts. It’s been a happy surprise to be able to report this particular model is still working, few repairs and always reliable. I had zero expectations for this and it wasn’t advertised as a more sturdy model, so I bought used and the iPads are shredded at just past 6 months. I don’t know if it’s the design or the maturity of this young man…but somehow he has been using the same one for 2 years!!! Thanks to the Apple Gods and I hope my luck continues. I’d love to invest in more than just the ipad/case if future models this resilient would be something to expect. (Please)

Geek Squad Refurbished is not reliable. Defective LCD screen (with colored vertical lines down the screen) developed after 2 months after purchase. This LCD problem is a defect that is fairly common in iPads, yet Best buy Geek Squad refused to fix it. By about a month after purchase, the Battery was lasting less time and would take longer to charge. ONLY 15 Day return policy is not enough time to recognize these problems. There is a 3 month manufacturers warranty but Best Buy will essentially do nothing about that for you, and if you want to honor that warranty, you have to go to Apple yourself and pay the price that comes with that. Also less importantly but still worth noting, it was a pain to get through Best Buy customer service throughout this whole process ... MoreGeek Squad Refurbished is not reliable. My overall experience with my ipad is good, it basically looked brand new and worked like it too. However, a tip is that even though it say cellular data it doesn’t work like how a phone would with cellular data instead you have to pair it with your phone in order to make it work like that which is something I didn’t know. However, overall its really good and helps when I have homework to do.

Ipad seems to work good but there is a long scratch in the screen and damage to the back of the iPad by the ear plug jack. Screen damage was not disclosed. I don't mind a little damage on the back but would not have spent $200 for a ipad with screen damage...
This is the nicest iPad I have so far. And I have every version since the original iPad. I can say that this is as light as the iPad Air 1 that I had. It definitely is the fastest iPad too, it is faster than my iPad Pro 1st gen too. The sound quality isn't as nice as my Pro but it is quite reasonable consider that it only has two speakers. The only disappointment is the battery last quite as long as the 9.7" Pro but is is quite adequate for a full day of use.
So far, so good. Although I’m still trying to figure out how to sync the Chromecast :-/Can’t vouch for durability or battery life because I’ve had it for less than a week. But will update if necessary.
Pros: It’s enough of a “computer” to be your only laptop, and there’s probably only about 5-10% of things I can’t do on the iPad Air (2019) that I need a computer for - mainly gaming - so I can’t really recommend this enough! It’s an absolutely brilliant piece of kit overall.Cons: Quad/stereo speakers from the previous iPad Pro 10.5 are gone, but that’s the only bad point!
Overpriced. Terrible warranty. You would be better off buying from a pawn shop or going to eBay and making a bid on a similar product. Should have went there first. Had to have one for my child’s school though. Definitely not worth what they charged me. Don’t waste your time or money on a refurbished product from them with only a 90 day warranty. Am taking it back.
Was very embarrassed when my gift was opened tday and in front of everyone the ipad had gummy pealed stickers on the back when she held it up for everyone to see. You would expect when an ipad is refurbished and sold at Best Buy that it would at least be clened! Makes me wonder how well they actually refurbished it.
Bought this for my wife's birthday after her other iPad finally died. Fast shipping, and the item was in excellent condition. Is working great! I will definitely be purchasing from Best buy again soon. Thank you
