Apple iPad Air 4 2020-Wifi-64GB-Silver-Brand New

Hands down the best decision I’ve made for my business. I love how I can take it with me everywhere and use all my design applications on the go. The battery lasts all day (8 hours at work) while running CAD. I also find even though I have such big files, space is never an issue for me. I will say, the camera quality is not the greatest on this. But I don’t really use it for that. If you were looking for a sign to buy yourself an iPad, this is it! Ps… I also love how you can engrave your products for free with Apple. Overall, it’s a great product and experience.

I love my iPad. I use it strictly for work and I just can’t get enough of it. I love how it pairs with my Apple Pencil and the case. The ease of it all makes me so happy. I have added a screen that makes it feel like paper so my pencil works beautifully on it. I take it everywhere and I appreciate how lightweight it is. I’ll never have a laptop again. I think this device will last me a long time too which is nice. As long as my daughter does not get to it! I don’t want an iPad kid though which is why I only use it for work 😉

Plus the camera works pretty good 👍

Certified junk!

Came with some scuffs on the corners of the screen, and sticker residue on the back. So much for Geek Squad Certified Refurbished, looks like this one was missed. Had to take the time to return it and buy an open box one where I could actually inspect it.They did not follow their Geek Squad Certified guidelines! Here's what they promised. "Geek Squad Certified refurbished items are returned items that are tested for functionality, updated, and factory restored. They are also inspected, repaired, and tested by hand, and minor surface scratches and blemishes are repaired or minimized. "

DO NOT BUY

This came in a banged up cardboard box in bubble wrap. No charger not Apple box nothing. Have been trying to return this tablet for 5 days and their customer service is horrendous offering a partial refund?? I actually am not even sure if it’s an actual iPad as it as weird markings on it. And I can’t verify it because I don’t have a charging cord for it! On the description it says new. Even if I could verify this is a real iPad it is not new so false advertising. Im really disappointed in Walmart for letting them advertise like this

Fast as Heck, Great Form Factor

Overall I'm loving this iPad. The 10" screen is perfect form factor for a tablet. I also REALLY love that it's easy to use it as a second screen with Apple's continuity. Using it as a second screen is a breeze.I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the USB-C port. It's SUCH a nice update to be able to use a generic USB-C cable on it, rather than needing a lightning cable.I'm using this with the iOS 18 beta, and it works flawlessly so far. I couldn't be happier with this purchase - it's my go-to device for sitting on the couch at the end of a long day and doing some reading where I can use a bigger screen.

Great value iPad!

This is easily a 5-star device. Im a power user so I got the fully decked out iPad air 4. I dont necesarily find the new one to be that significant of an upgrade so I went ahead and just grabbed the last gen model. Battery life is mediocore at best (for me anyways). I do a lot navigation, heavy gaming and photo editing. I expect 3-4 more years of software updates which is still pretty good. Screen is great (color wise) for editing photos in lightroom and gaming is also great thanks to the A14 chip. I play demanding games and I never see it struggle at all! Granted, it may not be as fast as the M1 like what the big name youtubers are bragging but it is still a very capable chip. Review of APPLE 10.9" iPad Air (2020) - 256 GB, Rose Gold

Good Points: The screen is gorgeous and the size, while larger than the basic, isn’t too big to hold comfortably. Want to read books for hours? Perfect. Want to watch videos? Perfect. Endlessly browsing the internet? Perfect. I’d absolutely recommend going for the biggest memory model you can, my first iPad I skimped on the memory to save money and I kicked myself forever after. You need at least 35gb (if you’re careful with your apps and rely on cloud storage), but if you want to download videos/books/audiobooks you’re going to want more if you want to not be constantly worrying about capacity (or deleting things so you can download iOS updates). The more you use it the more worth it it’ll be, but the asking price is high to find out. There’s something about the keyboard on this model that’s not quite right, I don’t know if everything’s closer together than on previous versions, but it’s much easier to type things wrong, or find yourself hitting Caps instead of pressing “A”. Also worth pointing out that it’s USB C instead of the Lightning connector other Apple products use, which is good in terms of connectivity with other products, but bad if you have existing Apple products you want to use with it. I’m sure there are adaptors, but you’ll need to buy those separate. Also using the on/off button as the thumbprint reader is a bit impractical, sometimes it doesn’t read it well, sometimes it reads it but because you’re pressing against the on/off button it turns itself off again immediately and you have to go through the scan again. It’s a bit of a faff - more so depending what case you have it in.

Good Points: The iPad Air 10.9 surprised me with just how quick, responsive and fluid it is whilst keeping a very thin and Light profile. The Touch ID works very well and almost every time without fail. The screen is a big upgrade from my 9.7 inch iPad and a good shape either portrait or landscape and is comfortable to hold in either or both hands or whilst sitting on my lap without being too large or heavy to be clumsy. It’s large enough to comfortably fit multiple windows and multitask without having to keep turning my head to see the edges of the screen. The battery life is very good and I spend a lot of my time every day using my iPad in some way or another and I’m on average charging it once a day but sometimes leaving it longer If the usage is lower. Gaming or graphic/processing intensive activities do drain it quite a lot quicker so if I’m playing ocean horn 2 there’s a substantial drop in battery percentage but runs the game beautifully so I expected that to happen. The design is comfortable to hold and very light and thin especially with the Apple smart case which I use with the Apple Pencil as well and the combination makes it a very versatile and capable machine which outperforms all the other mobile devices in my house and makes me Samsung s9 plus seem slow in comparison. The camera is a good quality and will happily take good quality pictures or videos which I can then edit instantly with ease including 4K at 60fps. I bought the 64gb iPad but since my photos are on the cloud the storage isn’t a worry of mine although it’s already down to 48gb within a few weeks but that’s with 10’s of new apps downloaded and with the usb-c port you can always buy an external hard drive to store larger files on but I can’t see myself needing to get one. Overall it’s been my favourite purchase for a long time and has went from being purchased to use sometimes to being my device of choice to use and the addition of the Apple Pencil has made it even more versatile but it by no means is required as I fell in love with the iPad before I got the pencil anyway!Improvement Points: The camera could do with a flash for darker environments but it has a good exposure and it’s more of a wanted upgrade than a necessity as I use my phone more for pictures anyway. Playing games took some getting used to as the iPad is so thin It can sometimes be a bit trickier to hold in a typical gaming position but that’s a sacrifice I’m happy with for it to be thin and lightweight and nothing I haven’t gotten used to. The battery’s does under some conditions drain quickly like high graphic gaming.
