This iPad has been such a game changer for me. I upgraded from the iPad Air 2 and I am happy I did this. I decided to buy this one over the brand new iPad 9th gen because of the 120Hz refresh rate, 600 nits brightness, higher quality rear camera and quad speakers. I use this iPad for almost everything - notetaking at school, annotating files, doing assignments, consuming media and other internet shenanigans. Paired with an Apple Pencil, It is a great notetaking device and has allowed me to greatly reduce the amount of things I carry in my bag, as I've got all my notebooks and textbooks on the thin and light iPad. Not only is high refresh rate great for notetaking, it also makes gaming so much more enjoyable. Media consumption is AWESOME, I absolutely love the ... Media consumption is AWESOME, I absolutely love the speakers on this tablet and the 4:3 aspect ratio is perfect for watching older shows, this is something that I highly appreciate and it is a feature I miss on the newer iPad designs. No curves on the display means that no information is cut-off, and I value this a lot. As far as performance with the A10 chip, I have not experienced any major slow-downs. For it's age this tablet still performs very well, I have only experienced some frame drops when scrolling through the UI and gaming for longer periods of time. For battery life, I get around 6 hours on a full charge with about half brightness and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth always on. There are a few things that I don't like: Charging takes pretty long, even with the faster plug. The Apple Pencil charging method is silly. Lightning port. I do recognise that the last two issues have been resolved with the newer models and I am happy for this. Overall, this product has exceeded my expectations and is one of my favourite purchases of this year. If you can find a good deal on this, get it!

Very nice display! I just wish it had an USB port. I’m new to apple products so I learned the hard way on many differences from Samsung. The USB-C is different, so can’t use the lightning charger I have for the Iphone. Unlike Samsung (which lets you make nice folders for your photos), there is not a good way to organize your photos (at least I haven’t found a way yet). And you cannot transfer files via a USB stick (although I might try purchasing a USB-C / USB adapter…) All in all, it’s kind of a headache to figure out so it’s currently on my coffee table collecting dust. Now I’m looking to buy a MacBook Pro so I can actually use it like a computer and hopefully organize my files! I still like my trustworthy acer laptop, but it’s so old I’m afraid one day it will ... I miss my Android Samsung, but it did not have FaceTime and I needed to “get with the times” to be hip with the fam! This IPad was good because I got it on sale. Otherwise… I’d say go with the cheaper option iPad or just buy a MacBook Pro laptop instead.

Apple products are not my favorite. In fact, I avoid them at all costs; however, it was a gift and it has a nice touch to it. Despite not being a fan, the ipads themselves have always proven to be very reliable and are really nice to use in their tablet form. This one in particular is very easy to use and (if you’re not used to apple like me) then you can Google any information you'd like use to get there for settings. The settings are confusing, but it is manageable. I do like the security protocol for purchasing/installing applications. It has a fast processor and can manage a ton of tabs being opened at once (I'm an avid reader so I have a lot of books opened). The battery life is great, so long as you don't have the brightness on high. Otherwise, it'll be around 4-6 hours of use, depending on what you use. I do recommend this tablet it has a lot of memory and is capable of running youtube, google meet, and other applications alike (I'm also a teacher so it helps). With prices going higher, it is harder to acquire one of these, epseically unlocked. Therefore, a smaller screen and memory might be better money-wise, if you don’t need such a big screen and/or don't use a lot of memory.
Ordered one these refurbished iPad Pro 10.5 on June 27 2022 and received on July 1 2022. Shipping was fast and came in a few days earlier than expected. Upon arrival the iPad needed to be charged, the included charger worked fine. I was very surprised to see the unit I received had a perfect screen with no scratches. The back of iPad’s aluminum body was also in near perfect condition. However 3 out of the 4 front corners and the power button did have some small gouges into the metal (see photos for details). I purchased a case for this iPad and the case covered the corners so that didn’t bother me much. After the iPad was fully charged I connected it to my MacBook and used a program called coconutbattery to inspect the battery health of the iPad. The program showed the battery had degraded to 75% max capacity, I was hoping for over 80% but for an iPad that’s 4 years old I wasn’t disappointed. I can easily get a full days use and still end the day with 20% battery. I was happy to see the iPad I received also didn’t suffer the white spot screen issue this generation of iPad Pros had. After using one of these refurbished iPads for over a month I have not had any issues and would highly recommend one of these units to anyone looking for an inexpensive iPad Pro.
It said on the Best Buy app/website that this was the “latest model”. IT’S NOT! I discovered that when I went to a class at The Apple Store and this model couldn’t do something that the instructors could. He looked into it and discovered that mine was a version 5 release, not a version 6, which is the latest model. While that’s not a huge deal to me, I don’t like being misled. As far as the iPad goes, I like it for the most part. It is basically a big version of my iPhone (without cellular). When I set it uo, everything that was saved on iCloud from my cellphone populated to it. That being said, Messages didn’t.The iPad is very reactive and well made. It recharges quickly. It’s somewhat difficult to open when it’s closed with the Magic Keyboard.
Was supposed to receive 10.5 inch iPad PRO which is a 2017 model with A10x chip with 120 hertz refresh rate and quad speakers. What I received was a 10.5 inch iPad AIR gen 3 which is a 2019 model and has the A12 chip but does not have the 120hz refresh rate rather a 60hz, as well as it only has 2 speakers. I mainly purchased this for art and some gaming so for those purposes I resigned to keep this wrong one as it is basically an upgrade on the chip with a downgrade on the display refresh rate so for the most part comparable and since it is 2 years newer it will receive updates for longer than my intended purchase would. That couple with the fact the seller has a 50% score and terrible review I figured I’m probably stuck with it anyway. But the one I got is in great ... This item was only $299 because it was an open box return. There’s not supposed to be anything wrong with it, and it should have all the accessories that come with an iPad Pro. I just received the iPad Pro, but haven’t turned it on yet, because the battery was dead. When you bundle items, you need to state if the items included are, or are not, Apple products. I was led to believe they were Apple products, and included the accessories that go with the iPad Pro. The only Apple product I received was the iPad Pro, and possibly the cord. The fast charger is an off brand made in Vietnam, and after 15 minutes of use became very hot. I had to unplug it. The airPods are called “InPods”, and were made in China. They are not Apple! I know the bundle was $299, and I’m sure they think I should be happy with that, which I would be if you only mentioned you were selling the iPad Pro. However, legally, you cannot say they’re one thing if they’re not that thing! If there’s anything wrong with the iPad itself, I will be returning all of this. Very unfortunate.
To be honest I was a little nervous about purchasing a renewed tablet as you can never be sure what you're getting until the device arrives. I have to say that so far so good. The 5th gen iPad Pro 12.9 was packed in a non-descript box and was well protected. It came with a non-apple wall charger. After charging the tablet it started right up with defaulted to factory reset condition. There are no obvious scuffs, scratches or other defects on its exterior. The screen is perfect. Everything appears to be functioning well. This is so much fun to use and I get amazed by how awesome the display is and how clear it is. I mainly got it because I’m always out at family gatherings/outings and if not that I work overnights and I miss main events and huge sporting events working weekends and I enjoy mainly combat sports but sports in general and this huge display is Perfect for watching all of it.
