Something that I’ve always struggled in school was keeping myself organised. The buildup of handouts and paper notes would be impossible to keep track of, and that’s why I went digital. After some back and forth with Microsoft and Samsung, I can confidently say Apple’s new iPad is the best. With it’s 12.9 inch screen, I’m able to multitask with note taking and researching through its new split screen feature. The iPad’s new M2 chip means I’m able to navigate in tough applications lag free. So far my love for the iPad comes from the satisfaction in note taking with the new Apple Pen Gen 2. It’s fluidity and versatility in writing different styles has made me re-love hand writing my notes.

This iPad satisfies those who work on the go , photo editing , art creation and even 4k high resolution rendering all possible with the new M2 Apple chip . If your work relies solely on video editing or photo rendering then I would recommend the Cheaper Mac with the M1 chip, but if you are a artist that requires drawing or precise editing that requires an Apple Pencil then this is a must . The high refresh rate and color accuracy and display resolution make this a must have for those with higher budgets and makes a great gift / alternative for college students. Pairing this with the Apple keyboard is a must but the steep price drives a hard sell unless you require it

I love my iPad. I probably bought more storage than I need because I wasn't sure what it equated to so that's a bit frustrating but my own lack of knowledge. It does everything I need. I use it for the usual emails, streaming tv, film and music and also studying for my online qualification. It has great sound quality on it. I'm sure it does far more than I use or even know about. I was really pleased about the splitting screen feature but actually haven't had chance to use it yet.

I levelled up from the old iPad Pro. This is seriously game-changing! The screen is much bigger than my old one, and it's a dream to use with the Apple Pencil. I'm an illustrator, and using Procreate on such a big device is really amazing. The iPad is noticeably faster as well. I bought the Magic Keyboard and it basically functions as a laptop. The only downside is that this iPad + the keyboard makes it pretty heavy compared to e.g. a MacBook Air.
I bought this regardless of all the youtube rants. I originally bought the 1TB M1, but as soon as I received it, Apple announced the new M2’s. So I sent my M1 back and got the newer M2 with 2TB at almost the same price. People, please do not listen to all those negative youtube reviews. This iPad is awesome and this is my first iPad and I’m really loving it. I did buy the Apple keyboard, which is picture with my review. I’m so glad I bought it. Much better then my Samsung android tablet.
Replacing a 2012 iPad whose software could no longer be updated. I bought this 2022 - Gen 6 - 256 GB Wi-Fi iPad with cellular capabilities. This new iPad currently meets my needs and expectations! Great product! Fast speed - quality picture and graphics - plenty of storage space etc. ! Definitely recommend this item for anyone wishing to upgrade an old iPad or if they are buying their first one! Only thing that I wish is that it had a lower price tag! But I needed to upgrade so I bit the bullet! Glad I did!
Too complicated to use, have looked for a class to no avail, and it was awfully expensive to be used just for solitaire. Got hacked within just a few weeks of owning it, and it took a half an hour to figure out how to shut the thing off. Had to resort to YouTube on my phone for instructions. Push the button on top at the same time as one of the the volume buttons, wait for a slider icon to show up (after many tries, it finally did), slide the slider to the left. On and off should be a one step process, not a multi step process involving multiple buttons and icons.Too complicated a conversion from PCs to Apple at this stage of my existence. Will get a smaller, lighter PC instead.
The new iPad Pro 12.9 is the best tablet money can buy. I am so pleased with this tablet. Top-end power, a fantastic display, a so many great features. Slim body style and feels great in my hands. The speaker on this tablet is incredible, I rarely use my Bluetooth speaker when playing music. Phenomenal power, the display is amazing, picture quality outstanding and strong battery life. I am overall pleased with this tablet and still familiarizing myself with all of the great features.
I love this iPad. Such excellent quality. I replaced my 5th gen for this one. I’m selling my MacBook Pro M1. I’ve always made great use of iPads and this one even more. I’ve been taking some online training and it works better for me while I’m on the go. Selling MacBook because I have a laptop pc and there’s just too much difference with MacBook and don’t have time to learn any more tech skills than I already have! Oh, just bought the Apple Pencil 2, today. It does even more than I thought!
I must have at least 7-8 iPads over the years. I currently have 2 iPad Pros (2020/2021) and just purchased the 12.9 iPad Pro 2023 version (M2). I am not a designer but use the iPad Pro every day totaling at least 3-4 hours daily for emails, web browsing, reading, travel, etc.I figured, if the 11" works, why not go BIGGER? Well, I just discovered that the 12.9" iPad Pro is totally overkill for most users who don't actually use the pen feature or draw/design with it. In fact, I'm not sure who actually uses the pen feature daily but I'm sure they exist.Coupled with the Magic Keyboard, it's my iOS go-to for ease-of-use if I'm sitting at my desk or on a stable/flat surface. However, the size difference between the 11 and 12.9 is something to behold. In the past, I held the older iPad Pro with 1 hand in bed or reclining on my office couch (when taking a break). The 12.9" is HUGE and it becomes tiring after a while. It is really heavy when coupled with the Magic Keyboard to nearly unusable on your lap.I thought Stage Manager would help me with multitasking ala my Windows computers and 2-in-1 Surface Book. Nope. Stage Manager is still a "work in progress" and it's not worth the learning curve and tweaking. I tried it for a week and turned it off completely.Plus - I'm getting a bit older and I've increased the size of the icons and text without feeling that I've lost space. It seems to be more energy efficient. Not as warm as the 11" version. It's bright! I can use it with the Magic Keyboard as a shield and weapon.Con - Weight and the virtual keyboard is too spaced out for ease of use. The Magic Keyboard weighs more than the iPad Pro itself. Stage Manager is gimmicky and not worth it.Is the iPad Pro necessary? If you don't actively use the pen (which I own but rarely use) and you don't really need the brighter screen (which is too bright at night of all things), stick with the 11" iPad Pro. Your wrists and hands will thank you.
