Absolutely love this iPad. I am not an Apple fan boy by any means. but as far as tablets go, iPad pro is my go too. I love drawing with the apple pencil for my business, and this is easy to use compared to a graphic design tablet. I can use it in bed, when I'm holding one of my kids, on vacation. Literally where ever. Great screen resolution and responds amazingly to the apple pencil. battery life is what you would expect for such a large tablet, but i have no issues keeping it charged. I would recommend a large battery pack if you commute a lot.

I would give it 5 stars if the battery was actually all day battery as advertised. Besides that, great machine. Super bright display with an amazing response. Major update from the IPad Air first generation, I absolutely love my iPad all over again. Use for reading, writing, drawing, coloring. Amazing for shows too!! The Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard are truly phenomenal and work flawless with the iPad Pro. Most definitely will recommend an extra battery charger when on the run but this is a beast machine besides that !

Excellent product. You do pay a premium but you get something that's going to last for a long time that's top of the range. The screen quality is superb and the touch very responsive. It's fabulous fir browsing through photos and also internet. Everything is simple to useI also bought the keyboard cover which turns it into a laptop - it works the same as my Mac book.Very pleased with this and highly recommend. John Lewis also give their extended warranty which is better than elsewhere so well worth buying through them.

A full blown desktop class computer in your hand! I've had many different android and Apple tablets over the years, and this tablet is just awesome. The screen is huge and easy to read. You can do anything with this tablet, the M2 chip is crazy powerful. This is the best tablet on the planet, no doubt! Nothing else comes close. The battery lasts me more than a week, and I use it several hours a day. Mostly reading, social media, and watching the occasional television show. The tablet is definately not cheap, but you are also looking at a top of the line tablet. If you have the extra bucks to spend, and you want to go first class all the way, this is the tablet for you.
Replacing a 2012 iPad whose software could no longer be updated. I bought this 2022 - Gen 6 - 256 GB Wi-Fi iPad with cellular capabilities. This new iPad currently meets my needs and expectations! Great product! Fast speed - quality picture and graphics - plenty of storage space etc. ! Definitely recommend this item for anyone wishing to upgrade an old iPad or if they are buying their first one! Only thing that I wish is that it had a lower price tag! But I needed to upgrade so I bit the bullet! Glad I did!
My 15 yr old daughter was so happy to get this for Christmas. I also purchased the Magic Keyboard and the Pencil. I had a hard time choosing between this and a laptop, since she writes a lot of papers for school, but my daughter is artistic and enjoys that the iPad Pro can be both a laptop for school work as well as using the ProCreate app to learn how to create digital artwork. (She usually draws or paints). She of course also loves to FaceTime her friends that have iPhones since I stick with Samsung for cell phones. I decided to set her up her own apple i.d. so I wouldn't have to share my cloud storage with her. Been used every day since Christmas and worked perfectly with no complaints.
I’ve had iPads since they were introduced. I decided it was time for a new one and splurged on the iPad Pro. I bought it on 2/11/23. I was so excited. I thought it was perfect. It was until 2/20 when the screen froze and there was no way for me to get it started. I couldn’t turn it off, I couldn’t even get the Apple logo to reset it. OK, so I went to a service center. They reset it and got it to work. I had to restore everything. Well, today (3/14/23) it happened again. I once again tried the internet solutions, but so far nothing has worked. I can’t restore it from my Mac either. I’m going to try and restore it from my PC tomorrow. I’m done for the day.I’ve had Apple products since the original Mac. I got an Apple Watch late last year. So I’m a fan girl from Day 1. Never have I had a dud like this iPad. Apparently this is a common problem given all the potential solutions on Apple Support and You Tube. If I can’t restore it myself, I’ll take it back in and see if the service center can “wipe” in again. And then… I’ll try to trade it in. For something else. I’m so done.Save your money.
I bought the ipad pro 2022 with expectations to learn how to do digital art. I hear a lot of raving reviews about the Apple Appstore exclusive, procreate. There are however a lot of caveats about the apple pencil (I have the gen 2) that people don't often emphasize, which I'd like to highlight in my review since I also have the samsung tab s7+.The Apple Pencil Gen 2 and the iPad does NOT work well with glass screen protectors. I don't care what the product description says on screen protectors; they just suck -- it basically made my quick notes app worthless (every time I tried to write on it, it drew a connecting line from the top left of the screen to wherever i started to draw). I don't care what the product description says on screen protectors; they just suck -- it basically made my quick notes app worthless (every time I tried to write on it, it drew a connecting line from the top left of the screen to wherever i started to draw). I tried restarting, unpairing and repairing the pen, toggling bluetooth -- the only solution that worked was taking my screen protector off. I've seen reviews of using other types of screen protectors like Paperlike, which you'd have to understand will wear down your pencil nibs faster. My other gripe is that quite often the apple pencil doesn't register or do anything, I have to dock it again and undock it from the magnetic side. This may seem insignificant; however, it gets annoying when you have a case on (and why wouldn't you want a case, when you know you can't have a screen protector). I wish it would just simply work. This draws my point to the samsung tab s7+. That is a 2 year old device, and granted, I would say it was the first tablet samsung put out that I would say could compete with the ipads. And it does so quite well. Samsung's had experience with the stylus for many years ahead of apple (because Steve Jobs detested the idea of having a stylus). The functionality of the stylus on the samsung beats the apple pencil by a long shot. It also feels more comfortable to use; however, that's a personal preference that you'd have to try for yourself. For me, the apple pencil just slides around on the slipper glass surface and makes it hard to really control compared to the nicer feeling tip on the S pen. Again, preference. At the end of the day, you pick an iPad over a Samsung if you absolutely must have the Procreate app and value longevity of software support. I believe the S7+ will be supported through 2024, but the S8 and beyond are supposed to get longer product support cycles. The ipad is significantly more expensive and hard to justify.
The 11-inch M1 iPad Pro is an excellent tablet with loads of power and capability under the hood. It will easily handle and chew through any tablet-based program at the moment without any issue. The only thing that really holds back this device from being something that can do it all is the device's limitation to mobile apps only. On spec sheet, this tablet has more power under the hood when compared to the baseline M1 MacBook air and could potentially run MacOS and its applications. Sadly, it is limited to run programs that will almost never take advantage of the massive power it has under the hood. Another issue that I have with this device is that the battery life is very mediocre, it does not last as long as Apple claims it to be and drains extremely quickly ... MoreThe 11-inch M1 iPad Pro is an excellent tablet with loads of power and capability under the hood. Where to start? The display is crystal clear, the iPad isn't has heavy as I anticipated and the screen size is great! I bought this iPad to use in addition to my MacBook Air. I was consistently carrying around my MacBook and wanted something that would function just as well. This iPad doesn't disapprove. I'm in real estate and have yet to find anything I can't do from the iPad that I can do on my MacBook. I purchased the Logitech keyboard/protector to go with this instead of the Magic Keyboard due to price. My only complaint is that the battery life seems to drain pretty quickly. So far, so good!
