It's a modern iPhone... no matter what you're doing on it you'll have a fantastic experience. Just moved from a Pixel 3 XL and the smooth gesture based experience is brilliant. On the larger screen you've got a great media consumption experience but I do have to use two hands to properly use it. If this is a dealbreaker for you then you're probably not looking at a Max anyway. The larger screen in my opinion is a bigger plus than being able to use it with one hand since lets face it you've probably got both hands free anyway. The 12 Pro Max is a very powerful phone and you won't be missing anything compared to any iPhone 14+. Phones are so powerful now that anything you'd reasonable do on a phone is completely taken care of. So, being the loving husband I decided to buy her the same phone, but refurbished to save hundreds of pounds on what I paid for mine new about 9 months ago. I was almost put off by the reviews on here, but decided to buy as I knew I could return the phone if it was damaged in any way. I made the right decision and my wife is delighted. The phone looks like it is new and has 100% battery life. Mega brownie points for me. And the 1 year warranty is fantastic. We just have to see now who can take the best photos with our top of the range iPhones.

Had it almost a year now. This was an upgrade from a 10s Max (I believe).First - the phone side of it works exactly as it should without issues. It is quicker than the previous phone, and has excellent battery life. Rarely does it go below about 50-60% battery after an average day. I took a risk of ordering a pre-owned iPhone 12 pro with no note on the condition. When it was delivered,- It was in a cheap phone box ( not of apple)- on opening the box, I realized that the lightning cable and power socket was of different brand( some cheap ones )- More importantly, the phone had nothing but dents and scratches all over it including the camera lens.- Please note, if you are returning a preowned product, there is a fee of $45. So you end up getting $45 less than you paid for.Was highly disappointed observing all these red flag. Returned it within an hour of delivery, didn’t signup for this by paying $899.Note to Best Buy: If it’s of pre owned please at least add a note on the product condition to provide awareness to those who buy this online.

Also, I previously owned an iPhone 11 and wanted a new phone for a better speaker and my iPhone 11 was louder than what I got. I hope this can help someone else out there to not take the gamble on kiss electronics.
The good: the camera is great. Fortunately you can buy a small pocket Camera that’s equally as good or better for way less money so most of the reviews I read just rant and rave about the camera while the camera is good but the rest of the phone really is not. So counter intuitive it drives me crazy. Phones should have a dedicated back button but not this top of the line model. You’ll play the game of “where is the back button” because it’s going to move around depending on what app you’re using and sometimes you’ll get frustrated won’t be able to find one at all. People type a lot on their phones when texting searching for things writing notes an email whatever and trying to simply put the cursor where you want to put it to correct something or go back and inject some thing else forget it lol I never had an iPhone before and I really don’t get what the fuss is about because most of these complaints are just elementary things at work perfectly and smoothly on android devices. The last straw was this morning on my alarm didn’t go off because I shut all the sound off because I don’t want to hear my phone dinging and beeping all night and yeah so the alarm is on the very lowest setting. It really seems like the iPhone does things a little differently just for the sake of being different and that’s not good. I apologize for my grammar hear some of this may be hard to read but again I’m getting the cursor to where I want it to fix things it’s too frustrating to even bother with it. Going to be returning this after two weeks today.
Got exactly what I paid for. The phone is great. Everything works as intended. The battery life was at 88% upon pick-up. It came with a charger and adapter. The phone had minimal cosmetic damage, only a minuscule scratch in the screen, which I covered with a protector anyways. My only gripe is that the phone was not cleaned prior to pickup. There is wax-like gunk in the speaker at the top of the phone, making it impossible to talk on the phone with the phone up to my ear. The bottom speaker which music plays out of is also dirty, because the sound quality is very crusty and not at an iPhones full potential. Other than needing to get it professionally cleaned, this was a great dealfor a phone I desperately needed, and I’m overall satisfied with my purchase. One ... MoreGot exactly what I paid for. I see the previous review was posted a week ago and the phone came dented and scratched all over even on the camera lens. I really hope they aren’t shipping that same phone to me now. It says you can cancel within 30 minutes of placing the order. I tried to cancel 10 minutes after placing order and there were options like change address, pick up in store, and cancel order but they were greyed out and could not be pressed. After 30 minutes they disappeared all together. Hopefully the previous person was being overly judgmental about a few tiny scratches and tiny chips of paint missing.
