I went from my old iPhone 8 to this phone and I don’t regret my decision. It is the same dimensions as the iPhone 8 and feels great to hold for someone like me who has smaller hands. The camera design is nice and I’ve been very pleased with the quality of photos. I take tons of photos, I have 10,000+ currently, and I’ve had no issues with storage. The battery life is fantastic, I can use it for up to two days without charging. I haven’t had any performance issues or glitches at all. When I first got it, it seemed to get a little warm while charging, but that seems to have stopped. Maybe it just needed to be “worn in” so to speak. My only gripe with this phone is the lack of Touch ID, but that is not unique to the 13. Aside from all of the more obvious feature packed benefits of the 13 mini I’m here to talk to you about its boast of being water-proof to a depth if 6meters. Also mentions something about taking underwater pictures??? Now although I’m not taking any underwater photos or going swimming with my phone I can say that they are to a certain degree waterproof.. Read my review on the body glove tidal waterproof phone case and you’ll see what I mean. Through a combined effort of both iPhone and the body glove, tidal waterproof case after at least 2 weeks of being submerged at Redondo Beach, CA my iPhone was found and still able to give its lost and found info to be retrieved and that I did. First off, I'd like to let the community know that you should expect renewed phones to come with a lot of scratches and less than 90% battery life. Most iPhone mini users did not use cases, so the reality is that this model isn't going to look great. That being said I was very disappointed with my purchase because not all of the components of the phone were working out of the box. I unboxed and setup my iPhone 13 mini, transferred all my data, only to realize that the bottom speaker makes no sound at all. It's clear to me from this purchase that Walmart does not properly test their refurbished phones. A simple test of the speakers would have immediately flagged this phone as defective and would have saved me tons of time. Great little package, but not for a power user who needs longer battery life and battery has degraded quickly.

Great size and, with the brighter screen, I have not noticed that it's smaller than my iPhone X. Battery is not amazing though, but that's due to it being a very neat little package that slips nicely in my front pocket rather than the back one, from which my old phone had slipped a couple of times. The glass back on the recent iPhone range is very prone to cracking and is basically a "live with it" problem, which is pretty rubbish really. Can't understand the thinking of having something so fragile that cannot be replaced. It's probably not water resistant anymore and that's a pain and it's lost that sleekness that is what you pay for in an iPhone. 10 months in and the battery is now at 85%, which is dreadful and causing a lot of problems when travelling. It’s better than what I had

I had a 2016 iPhone and unfortunately it started to give me some problems, battery wise and storage. I knew it was time to upgrade but, I didn’t want a phone that had so many things to relearn and that I really didn’t need. I just wanted a good phone to get my phone calls, text, take pictures, and have more storage than my old one had. I also wanted one that wasn’t going to be bigger than my old one, this one fit my needs. The guy at Verizon helped answer my questions and showed me the different options, which helped me to make my decision. If you’re looking for something that’s easy to use, I’d say check this phone out. It’s just a little bit bigger, but still as thin as my old phone. I had to go on line to find out why my phone would ring loud but once I picked it up it was quiet. I found out it was because of the Face ID thing, but you can fix that. Now even when I pick it up to see who’s calling it will still ring loud and not go silent. No instructions to help though. Also it does take a little longer to charge and the cords I had for my old phone won’t work, so I had to buy new cords, but the new cords also work for my IPad. All in all it’s doing what I need and want it to do for me.

Near new refurbishment

The phone was as close to perfect. If the refurbishment had replaced the screen due to a small scratch this would have been a 5-star review. The battery was 100% . That really offset the scratch on the screen. The phone was delivered fast and was up and running in minutes. This was a big leap from my old iPhone 6. The size of the mini was perfect and the ios supreme. I'm not sure what all the crying about the 13 Mini battery life is about. My first few days on the phone had heavy use over a 14-hour day and the battery was still at 30 percent come evening. This is a keeper.

Screen, charging, battery issues

Free new iphone13mini upgrade with old iphone11 trade-in. Received iphone13mini as scheduled. Unable to using lightning charger (no block to go with cord), so used old iphone11 charger. 100% charged and successful activation. Once on main Home Screen, first issue was certain screen parts on iphone13mini doesn't respond on one or multiple taps. Second issue was while trying to charge (2nd charge), iphone13mini wasn't charging. Changed charger using another lightning charger (correct charger), iphone13mini still didn't charge. Both different chargers worked well and charged other iPhones normally (tested on spouse and mothers iPhones). After several hours multiple attempts, finally 100%...only for it to die 3 hours later with only minimum phone activity! By the 3rd ... MoreFree new iphone13mini upgrade with old iphone11 trade-in. I also had a tablet that was on backorder, but it came the same day as everything else. I wish it were a little shade, but at least it isnt so dark and close to black as the new iPhone 14 dark purple color. There is only the standard colors and that dark purple for the new line of iPhones and it did not appeal to me at all.Performance wise, I think this phone is just about as good as any other phone at this point. It's fast and it does heat up if you're using it on the charger, so I advise not to do so, haha. The battery life could be better, my Samsung Galaxy ZFlip 4 has a much more significant battery life. Sometimes, Safari just freezes and stops loading, then I need to exit the app and go back in, even have to close the tab and reenter the URL for it to load a page, but that is most likely just the app.Battery life usually is not a problem for me, but I don't like having to charge my phone during work, as I work a graveyard shift at a senior living home, and I need some type of entertainment on down times. I have never had the need to charge my Galaxy ZFlip 3 or Galaxy ZFlip 4 while at work.Other than the battery life, the phone is good. I don't really have anything bad to say about it right now.

Prior to the 13 Mini, I had the 13.Being sort of a minimalist, I gravitated toward smaller form electronics. The SE was just meh. OK for a kiddo for a first iPhone..for an experienced user notsomuch. I needed MORE POWER! The 13 Mini delivers! Super fast and fluid and a joy and a half to behold in deep fire engine red! The red color glass back is super saturated and is set off brilliantly by the red anodized aluminum frame. Just an exquisite build on this device! One handed POWER! The 5.4" OLED display is very nice. Nice super black blacks.
