Just a superb iPhone and a noticeable upgrade from my former iPhone 11 Pro. Got my 13 pro in the Sierra blue finish in the 256gb model. The Sierra blue is a gorgeous finish, with the stainless steel finish on the sides. This phone overall has a true premium feeling to it, it feels like a premium upscale device. The Ceramic Shield glass is a lifesaver, because I am someone who drops their phone A LOT, lol. As far as performance wise and battery life, this 13 pro doesn't disappoint not even the slightest. Battery life is solid (up to 2 days full usage), and performance is amazing. This phone is so fast at loading and downloading, thanks to mega fast 5G speeds. The A15 biconic chip is noticeably faster at downloading and browsing the web than the 11 pros A13 processor. ... MoreJust a superb iPhone and a noticeable upgrade from my former iPhone 11 Pro. The biggest improvement I noticed coming from the 11 pro is the camera. The camera is just incredible, takes clearer and crisper shots than my fancy digital camera takes. I don't use my expensive digital camera anymore, I just use my iPhone. Not only do photos come out stunningly clear, video filming is where the biggest improvement over the 11 pro kicks in. Thanks to cinematic mode. Cinematic mode is absolutely astonishing, it's like owning an expensive Hollywood cinema camera in your pocket. As for screen brightness, the expansive 6.1 inch Super Retina XDR display with promotion is crisper than ever. The display is astonishing, delivering vivid brightness.

It is thicker than my previous phone & is very reminiscent of the 5s in looks, which almost seems like the company are going backwards. I have also moved from 256gb to the 512gb as I like to download a lot of music. The colour is a lovely dark grey. It was easy to set up as you just sit your previous phone beside it, if it is an iPhone and it guides you through & transfers all the things from your previous phone. I find it easy to use and can see the difference in screen from my 11 pro, it seems brighter & crisper. It is also much quicker when using the internet & apps.Be aware the cost is the same, but you no longer get a charger plug, in the box it is just the phone, the simm tool and a usb-c lightening cable. I have purchased MagSafe chargers which are really clever and use a clear Apple case with MagSafe, which means I don’t have to remove case to charge phone. I also had to purchase plugs for these as they didn’t come with them, so if you are buying and want to use MagSafe for charging, bear in mind the extra costs involved in buying all these extra things if you don’t have them. The camera lenses really stick out, much more than my 11 did, but the quality of the photos and videos is incredible. I took a video last night and then air played it onto our tv and was so impressed with the clarify. The zoom seems much better than the 11 on taking photos.I have used iPhones since the original for home and have to use android at work, so can compare. Honestly, I tend to avoid my android work phone at all costs as for me I find it much more complex to use than an iPhone. Obviously iPhones are never cheap and I buy outright, as don’t want to be locked into a phone contract. But with very you do get the good options of buy now pay later etc, so it means I can buy then save each month to pay it off in full when it is due.

I went from an iPhone 7 Plus to this 13 pro. I compared specs before deciding which model to buy. Screen sizes are specified as the same, they are not. iPhone 13 pro is smaller. Texting is highly irritating as the screen seems to be ultra sensitive and almost every word is messed up with wrong letters, therefore you spend twice as long texting due to having to fix errors constantly. I contacted Apple support directly about this issue and they told me putting a case on it would help to add space between the phone and your fingers. Did not even come close to helping. With all the software updates, it has gotten worse. I would go back to my 7 plus in a heartbeat if the phone still functioned. As others have stated in reviews, texting photos go through very slowly, if ... MoreI went from an iPhone 7 Plus to this 13 pro. HUGE improvement over my 11 Pro
6 January 2022

I personally didn’t really think this phone was going to be worth it, I had my previous 11 pro for about 2 1/2 years and still thought it was a solid phone however the past couple weeks I started having issues with my 11 pro lagging so I decided it was time to upgrade. I have only been using this phone for a few hours and can already tell a MAJOR difference between 13 pro and 11 pro.The smaller notch is definitely nice, the bezels around the phone are slightly smaller, it’s ever so slightly bigger than the 11 pro but not major, closer to the size of the regular 11 which combined with the smaller bezels definitely give it a bigger screen. The colors on the screen are incredibly bright that’s one of the first things i noticed when I got it. The colors on the screen are incredibly bright that’s one of the first things i noticed when I got it. I personally don’t see a huge difference with the faster refresh rate but it is nice to have. I wouldn’t upgrade just for that reason. The speakers are significantly louder, the power button is ever so slightly lower so it’s easier to press, 5G is SUPER FAST that’s one of the biggest improvements I’ve noticed internet speed over data is much faster than my 11 pro. And the cameras god I could write a whole paragraph about them but the biggest improvement I notice is the zoom. You can zoom much further & much clearer than the 11 pro. I picked up a MagSafe charger & a MagSafe compatible otter box and I already like that new feature a lot. I’m sure I am forgetting some things. I’ve only had this phone 3 hours and already can tell SOOO MUCH IMPROVEMENT. I can’t speak for the iPhone 12 users I’ve never had a 12 but if you have an 11 or below definitely consider this iPhone! Also the sierra blue color is beautiful I had the midnight green 11 pro which I liked but the blue color is much nicer!Probably the only complaint I can think of is it doesn’t have usbc I really wish Apple would make the switch to usb c. It also does not come with a charger block in the box so if you don’t have a 12 or 20w usbc block You will probably want one of those too especially if you’re planning on using MagSafe

I really wanted to like this but

I really wanted to like this phone but I can't, I just can't. The build quality and look of this phone is just so good, but thats all there is to it. This is my second iphone since the iPhone 7 plus which I loved and had for years, first major problem is no charger in the box, fu** you apple! Environment my a** you are just trying to cut corners and save money by selling us a $1,000 plus phone and no charger or headphones in the box? Like who in this world unbox their phone and throws the charger away? Nobody, and what's really sick about this is that they tell you oh well you have a charger at home, but the cable that's in the box does not fit my old charger so in order to get the proper charging speed, you have to buy another charger! I mean how are people okay with this? How does this not insult you, by spending you're hard earned $1000 and now you have to spend another $30-50 to get a charger to fit the dumb cable if you want the proper charging speed for this phone, plus another $40 on wired headphones that are also not included. That's like if you buy a house and lets say its $400,000, once you are inside there is no central air conditioning or heating, does not matter how much money you have, now you have to jump through all the hoops and spend $8,000 to get a unit installed and thats just unacceptable. Second major issue is the lighting cable, now I had my iPhone 7 plus for a while then moved to android for about 2 years and decided to try the iphone again since they finally added 120hz display, but I had no idea this thing still had a lighting cable before I unboxed it. Yo apple what's with you and the lighting cable? The lighting cable in a nutshell killed this experience entirely for me because everything in my house is usb type c, even my cheap gadgets are usb type c, now I need a bunch of adapters, and did i mention that data transfer on the lighting cable is so slow its about as painful to watch as an old man with a hemorrhoid sit on a cactus?? And now I need to take 2 separate cords like bro just stop apple, let the lighting cable go already. But yea that right there killed it for me, I can't have this phone simply because of the lighting cable, it is just a huge inconvenience for me. But if the lighting cable does not bother you for some odd reason, here are a couple more problems. Third major issue is overheating issue, boy o boy does this phone have alot of horsepower under the hood, but as soon as you even think about pushing the horsepower, this baby gets HOOOOOOOT especially if you use navigation then forget about it. This thing gets so hot it lags and then dims the screen so much to the point where you can't see the display, even with simple task the screen just keeps diming and its hugely annoying, obviously there is no proper cooling for all of this horsepower in this phone so it's pretty much a gimic at this point, I mean if you are a person who just calls, then you will have no overheating issues, but if you use navigation alot, STAY FAR FAAAAAAAAR AWAY FROM THIS PHONE. Fourth problem is no always on display so you have to keep tapping the screen to see your time and notifications, im not even gonna get into this, $1000 and no always on display? Thats a major L. Fifth major problem is I can't see my battery percentage on the top right corner like I could with my 7 plus or android phone, so I have to swipe the screen down to see it, why apple? And the last problem is no fingerprint sensor, now I don't understand why they force you to have one or the other, why not both face unlock and fingerprint sensor? Ever heard of options apple? Anyways I can talk about this phone forever and I really did want to like this phone but I'm gonna have to stick with android until they at least add usb type c for God sake. Stay away from this phone.

Upgraded from an iPhone 11 to 13 Pro. Cameras a bit better since I take a lot of pictures on the water and in the woods. Beyond that ehh not a huge upgrade from 11. Things I hate: while slimmer than 11 the camera on 13 protrudes out from the phone so no longer does it sit flush on any surface. To me incredibly poor design choice by apple and super annoying and potentially heightened risk of damaging the phone. Utterly baffled by this. The other major thing I absolutely hate is apple force feeding USB-C onto consumers. iPhone and AirPods are the only apple products I own, the computers are garbage for business people so with that said USB-C adoption and lightning cables are only Apples thing. The USB A in my car (which is a 2021 make) along with the multiple power banks all function on USB A cause apple does not dictate 99% of consumer products. But now all these things are useless and required buying USB-C to USB-A male adapters to work. It’s an average product at best and nothing to wow over. 80% of users only ever use 20% of a phones features so read that clearly, most of what you’re getting is crap. Oh and despite having 800mbs Wi-Fi network (1GB hardwired) in my home, tested on my iPhone 11 the 13 has actually downloaded slower. Again baffled by all these performance upgrades that don’t translate into a faster experience.

They work for 3 months, then the problems start
4 October 2022

Most of the reviews on here are posted after a week, 2 weeks, a month of ownership. Let’s try after 9 months. Not 9 years, but 9 MONTHS. Exact same story as the iPhone 12’s.They work great for 3 months. Then there’s a glitch here and there. No problem. Everything has a glitch now and then right? Then the glitches start taking time to fix. 2 minutes, then 10 minutes, then an hour, then seemingly unfixable. So now at 9 months, notifications in all categories are sporadic. They even disable themselves at will. Then, I can no longer text anyone with an Android phone - now half of the population is unreachable.Speaker phone shuts off and on randomly in the middle of conversations. Voicemail notifications now take 2-3 days to show up.Same number of problems ... MoreMost of the reviews on here are posted after a week, 2 weeks, a month of ownership. Let’s try after 9 months. Apple sent it back to me saying there was nothing wrong with it, and charged me for another phone while under APPLE CARE.There are serious problems with these phones and with Apple. I’ve had iPhones going back to iPhone 6, and had ZERO level of problems as I’ve had with 12 and 13. If you need a new phone, get a good Android.

Super disappointed with Apple. Their phones get more expensive and yet the quality gets worse, and their idea of "innovative design" is to change the size of the phone or type of ports so you need to buy all new accessories with every upgrade. I loved my Iphone 11 pro but it ran out of storage faster than my 8 pro (even though they had the same gb) so I was forced to upgrade since I couldn't find an 11 pro with more storage. I had high hopes for the 13 pro (my bad lol). I got it in January 2022 and had issues from the very start. I use my phone for content creation so the ability to shoot RAW & 4k video was a huge selling point. HOWEVER the 13 Pro automatically edits and brightens your photos and there's no way to turn it off. I've tried absolutely everything to ... MoreSuper disappointed with Apple. I use my phone for content creation so the ability to shoot RAW & 4k video was a huge selling point. HOWEVER the 13 Pro automatically edits and brightens your photos and there's no way to turn it off. I've tried absolutely everything to stop it from auto-editing, but even shooting in RAW my photos turn out over exposed and unusable or require extensive editing to try and make them look normal. Video was great at first, but all of a sudden it started to lose focus randomly and there's no way to fix it either. Sometimes when I begin to film, the entire screen is blurry as it seems it's trying to focus on something that isn't even there, or while I'm filming it decides that what I'm focusing on isn't important anymore, it goes blurry and even tapping on the screen does nothing to help it focus on what I'm filming. Aside from those camera issues, the phone loves to freeze up and crash apps I'm in the middle of using (I never leave multiple tabs open so it's not a memory issue). It also has a fun habit of randomly locking up the touchscreen so I'm unable to close a window or click on a link. Apple support is of no help either. They don't seem so have a solution for any of these issues or like to ignore that they even exist. Don't waste your money on Apple, the quality and value just aren't there anymore.
