Apple iPhone 7 128GB Rose Gold

ck-tock. Tick-tock. That clockwork rhythm has more or less defined Apple's iPhone road map since the days of the 3GS. One year we'd get a new iPhone with a new look and loads of features to agonize over and opine about. Then, the following year, we'd get the same general design with a faster chipset and a few new tricks. The rhythm was almost comforting in its regularity, which made Apple's unveiling of the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus such an anomaly. It's easy to look at these devices as another year's worth of modest updates crammed into a familiar body, but trust me: It's a little more complicated than that. The big question here is whether a bunch of relatively unexciting changes add up to greatness.ProsTop-tier performanceGreat 12-megapixel cameraImproved batteryIt's water-resistant! ConsNo headphone jackSame design, three years runningNew home button takes getting used toSummaryApple broke with its tradition by keeping the 6/6s design for another year, opting instead to improve fundamental parts of the user experience. The iPhone 7 has a better battery than before, a more color-rich screen, a vastly improved camera and plenty of horsepower thanks to its new A10 Fusion chipset. If you're looking for newfangled features (or a headphone jack, for that matter), you'll have to search elsewhere. While it's not thrilling enough to warrant an immediate upgrade from last year's 6s, the iPhone 7 is nonetheless an excellent smartphone.Engadget ScorePOOR UNINSPIRING GOOD EXCELLENT92ProsExcellent performanceGreat dual-camera setupLongest battery life in an iPhone to dateIt's waterproof! ConsNo headphone jackExpensiveSame design, three years runningNew home button takes getting used toSummaryUnless your hands can't accommodate it, the iPhone 7 Plus is probably the iPhone you're looking for. It takes the foundational improvements made to the iPhone 7 and packs them into a body with a crisper screen and beefier battery. While it might seem weird at first, the "zooming" afforded by the dual 12-megapixel cameras around back is handy too, though you'll wind up paying more for it.HardwareYou don't need me to tell you that this year's iPhones look an awful lot like last year's. Like it or not, Apple believed there was still room to improve the phone design we've been using for two years, so it focused on that instead of cooking up a brand-new aesthetic. It's tempting to say Apple's current design philosophy boils down to "if it ain't broke, don't fix it," but that's not really true either: The company actually fixed a lot this year. Some changes are subtler than others. The 7 and 7 Plus's antenna bands swoop around the phones' curves instead of cutting across their backs. The iPhone's 12-megapixel camera (or cameras, in the case of the 7 Plus) is surrounded by an aluminum hump, rather than just jutting out like in the old days. Apple finally made 32GB the new storage baseline and gave the 7 and 7 Plus a seriously spacious 256GB option. Both models are the exact same size as the models that preceded them, but the 7 and 7 Plus have each shed a couple of grams here and there. The loss of a few paper clips' worth of weight isn't nothing, though, especially when we're talking about devices that we hardly ever put down.and more ...

This iPhone 7 has my pre Covid and mid Covid memories. To reflect back on how things were, I go to gallery on this phone. I cherished my iPhone 7 as it was pocket size and light weight. The rose gold color is lovely and super cute. This phone has travelled along with me to Korea and Japan and has many of my solo and group travel videos and images. After 2 years of predominantly using it, thereafter just to visit memories now this iPhone’s battery stands at 72%. Since then I have upgraded to couple of different phone but this phone has my heart.

I HATE not having a headphone jack and I have been struggling so much just to get my photos into my computer. The memory space is great but I'm currently at 13k photos and I have to go in rounds downloading them into onedrive to get them to my computer because apple thinks they're too good to work with a Microsoft laptop. So the iphone freaks out and doesn't let me download my photos into my laptop normally. Imagine having to download 13k photos into onedrive 500 photos at a time because of the memory limit and then having to download those into your computer, delete them all from one drive, delete them all from the phone and do it all again and again. Overall I like the phone itself. The photo quality is nice, it has tons of storage space and lots of fun apps . Overall I like the phone itself. The photo quality is nice, it has tons of storage space and lots of fun apps . And i love that it came with imovie. But apple needs to start playing nice with Other products. They need to accept that almost nobody wants to buy their computers and stop lowering the quality of their products further just to force people to buy their other poor quality products. They should try gaining customers through being better than other brands rather than blackmailing people into buying their products, chargers, headphones and extensions because if you have just one product, it will never be at its full potential without a bunch of accessories and compatible devices.I am fully considering switching to android or something else for my next phone because I am tired of having to look for special chargers and carry extensions just so i can listen to music while i charge my phone. Also I miss the versatility of other phones. I hate that I cant use anything except their songs or itunes for my ringtone and even when i try to use itunes it only works half the time because they suck at their update and I recently lost access to all the music i bought previously because they changed access rules in their update.

bought my IPhone 7 a little over a year ago and still have it! I bought it at Wal-Mart on sale for $189.00 and was impressed with from the start. There where a few things things that were different from previous models that I had to get use too, ( no speaker jack and home button was obviously a little different ) But, there where also huge improvements that I really enjoyed and that was the camera was better which meant better pictures and overall Quality! Also, the iPhone 7 was water resistant which was something new to the IPhone and great for a klutz like me! They also improved on their speakers including a second speaker I believe in the earpiece. I love IPhones, always will, and definitely Recommend any one of them!

I had this phone and loved it. Apple iPhones are so nice. The features in them make them very user friendly. I also like being able to do find my iPhone because I tend to misplace my phone. The performance of this is great- the battery lasts all day. It stores lots of pictures and you don’t need to lug around a big camera because this takes great pictures.

It’s crazy that I still have this phone and my kids are using it. Ever since I got it I never had any problems with it until lately. The phone battery is dying faster than usual. I still have a lot of storage in there that still hold all my pictures. Camera quality probably not like the ones I have now but still love my iPhone 7. Never given me any problems.

Owned this phone from 2017-2023. Did me for 6 long years and used an awful lot. Never filled up even half the storage capacity. And the battery lasted for a long time. I did have to get it replaced at one point but it was under warranty so it was free. It was very sleek and lightweight and the rose gold colour was beautiful. This phone was the best phone I’ve ever owned and it was sad to have to say goodbye to it.

iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are profoundly unusual devices. They are full of aggressive ruptures with conventions, while at the same time being involved in cases that look almost exactly like their two direct predecessors. Even this design continuity is a break with conventions; after almost a decade of Apple’s two-year iPhone constant upgrade pattern, just maintaining the same design for the third consecutive year goes against expectations. Within this case, all the rest of the iPhone 7 is a decisive statement about the future. The dual cameras of the iPhone 7 Plus promise to usher in a new era in mobile photography. The iPhone’s iconic home button is no longer a physical button, but a sophisticated ballet of pressure sensors and tactile vibration motors that simulate the sensation of a button. The new A10 Fusion processor combines two high-power cores that rival the performance of laptops with two low-power cores that combine with a much larger battery to extend the runtime by up to two hours. And yes, Apple removed the headphone jack.

I’ve had this phone for about 3 1/2 years now and this thing still works. I seem to be hard on phones and break them a lot but this is the one that has lasted me the longest. Everything still updates. The only thing that I would say that is a huge con is that the battery life has definitely diminished. I wish I would’ve paid more attention to my warranty from buying a brand new phone so that I could have serviced it before I could no longer. I can service it but it’s out of pocket for me now. The battery does tell me that my full charge now is only 73% of what it was when I first got it. I think that’s cool if the settings of this allow me to see that because that’s pretty straightforward and tells me that I need to get it serviced but in order for me to get an out ... MoreI’ve had this phone for about 3 1/2 years now and this thing still works. I think that’s cool if the settings of this allow me to see that because that’s pretty straightforward and tells me that I need to get it serviced but in order for me to get an out of warranty battery replacement it would cost me $49. In the scheme of things I think I would just get a new phone and trade this in while it’s got some good value to it. I’ve always kept this in a case. And ever since I found out about the waterproof cases from life proof that is the only case that I’ve ever put on it. I seriously wreck phones in this is lasted me this long which is so shocking. Are use it a lot for work because I do deliveries for Amazon and other companies as an independent contractor so I like to use the wrist lanyard that my case came with. Anyways I do recommend this because it has been good to me for this long. Honestly it is annoying that the battery doesn’t stay charged and it does affect me when I am trying to work but I like apple enough and their interface and how are you can use their other products seamlessly, so I don’t think I’d ever change from this.
