Apple iPhone SE (2020) 64GB | Black

This is a great little phone for us practical folks who don’t often upgrade but still want a phone with most of the nicer features that are on the bigger more expensive phones. I actually have an old Gen 1 SE still being an awesome little phone that still works great and that led me to pick the newer SE up when it came out. I barely early adopt any new tech when it comes out unless I really believe in it and this phone mostly delivers. A huge bonus for me on this one is it still has the home button. I just prefer having a tactile button that I can feel, you know? As for the rest of the phone, again, decent for the price. Good sound quality, fast, has all the features I want out of a phone. It is a phone after all and not a camera so it definitely gets the job done. If you want a better camera though you’ll have to shell out for the more expensive phones however. Or, you know, an actual camera. My biggest gripe with all iPhones I’ve used, with this being no exception, is battery life. It seems great at first and within a year or so you definitely notice it become shorter and shorter. I don’t know if that’s Apples forced obsolescence trying to push you to a new phone every year that you really don’t need. I don’t know if they just use inferior batteries to make money selling you a replacement battery. All I know is that it doesn’t matter what phone it is from Apple, the battery will always be a huge let down. This alone is the reason in fairness I can not give this phone 5 stars.

3rd gen Iphone SE is a great phone

Got this to replace my aging 1st generation SE that I purchased 5 years ago. Really pleased with the purchase, and refurbished saved lost of $$$ over new. Battery life is better on the new SE, screen is a fraction bigger but same small footprint. The phone is plenty fast with the new A15 chip. Its rated for 5G but where I live that service is spotty at best. Only got the 64GB version, but I don't use my phone for taking lots of photos or videos and I don't down load games or other memory hogs. Plus 64GB is double what my old SE had and I still had about 10GB open on that, so don't think that will be a problem. All in all really please with my purchase. Love my new phone

I wasn’t really sure about getting a refurbed phone but budget wise made the most sense for. I am really happy with my purchase. I selected excellent condition and it looks and works as new. One of my biggest concerns was getting a battery which was already considerably worn but when I checked the battery health it was at 93%. Super happy with that. All the extra gifts that came with the phone such as case, cable and pop holder were a great touch too. The only issue I had was that I paid I think $20 for expedited shipping and due to a mistake with my address I experienced a delay so my phone arrived when it probably would have without the extra shipping charge. Bit of a bummer but is what it is. I got the SE 2020 after my iPhone 7 I owned for three years started acting strange and gave up on me. It took five months to get a new phone and when I got the iPhone SE 2020, I’m absolutely happy with it. This thing is incredibly inexpensive and had a home button like my old 7 which is nice. I don’t mind the SE 2 not having 5G since that’s less of a concern to me. My 7 doesn’t have 5G either but I certainly don’t mind it since it has LTE which still gets the job done. Battery life seems pretty decent to me too. The camera got a nice quality but then again, I’m really not much of a photographer and I rarely take photos with it. But when I’m out of the house and went to the park yesterday, my SE 2 got a pretty great service (it has like three or four bars) so that’s nice. The only issue is that I wish my SE 2 had 128GB of internal storage for reasons but other than that, the SE 2020 is a great phone. It serves me well. I hope there’ll be more iPhones with home button in the future. Not everyone needs a $1k gigantic phone.(June 9, 2022)

Love this!!

I love this iPhone! It is so great. The camera is a lot better than my old Samsung Galaxy. The storage is amazing, especially if you pay a dollar a month for more iCloud storage. It is such a good size and fits in my pocket. Some phones are too big for that these days. The only big problem is the the battery life. The battery drains really quickly. I don't constantly use my phone and at most am on it three hours a day, at most!! Most days though I use it for two hours in total and it lasts throughout the day to text and occasionally play a game or two, then I plug it in when I go to bed. It charges pretty quickly, which is good.If you use your phone a lot and still want this one, I recommend getting an Apple Watch. Simple mobile is a scam / Iphone is ok

Let me start with telling you that I’m a long time Simple Mobile customer. I ordered this phone as upgrade to my old IPhone. The phone is locked to simple mobile and came with their sim card. After they transferred my phone number to this whole device and sim the phone kept saying that it needs to be activated. After I spoke to Apple they told me that the issue is with the carrier, not the phone. I called and spoke to 10 different people from Simple Mobile and no one is willing to help. What I was left to understand is that I will have to pay for services for 2 months and wait till this phone gets unlocked, before I can use it as a phone or get any messages on it. Solid phone for ~$200

Needed a new phone. Upgraded from a Galaxy note 8 and an iPhone 6s. Decent size, both in my hand and in storage size. Fast, reliable speed for a mobile device. Great display. Wonderful connectivity (Straight Talk phone on Straight Talk service) and the battery absolutely slaps. Especially coming from a 6s and Note 8 (comparable to the Note 8, maybe even more battery life) and the features of iOS far outshine Android in non-homebrew apps.(kept my Note 8 for NFC read/write capabilities. I make custom Amiibo) but NFC aside, Apple Pay still works and I love it, the security and stability of iOS has my heart from an IT perspective. It come with a smartphone box that looks cheap but the phone is pretty new. The back is spotless, tiny dins at top right side. Software 15.6.1 seems the latest. I compared it with my old iPhone 6. Size exactly the same but this SE is heavier. Back Camera 12 MP is pretty clear. The one review that says the Home button didn't work probably expect it like the iPhone 6. But it's different.
