Measuring just 0.5" (13.1mm) thin and weighing only 2 pounds, the MacBook is compact yet still has a premium feel, thanks to its unibody design. The MacBook features a 12" Retina display with 16:10 aspect ratio and 2304 x 1440 native resolution, which results in 226 pixels per inch (ppi). The display also has 178?-wide viewing angles. To deliver the total Retina experience on the MacBook, Apple redesigned the pixels to create a larger aperture, allowing more light to pass through. This enabled Apple to use LED backlighting that's 30 percent more energy efficient than the displays on other Mac notebooks with no loss in brightness.

I completely love it! It comes in a generic white box with a new mac charger. The condition was extremely good. Compares to a brand new MacBook. It turned on well and fast. I created my own profiles, installed the new system update, etc. just like a new laptop. I haven't had any issues with the "heating up" problem that I read about. It gets warm, but I've had other laptops and all of them get warm when using for long periods of time, so the warmth that I get is considered normal for the amount of time that I leave it on. I use this computer for literally everything. College, work, homework, research, random web browsing. Speakers are great too. Added a picture, excuse my sticker and my keyboard cover, I also covered my screen, but for reference it is great.

If you have not held the new MacBook in hand, it is almost impossible to think how a computer can be so light and so thin. In some ways, it almost seems like an iPad with a clamshell keyboard attached to it. To make space for the small form factor, many 'normal' features had to be removed: no CD drive, no USB ports (save for the USB-C charging port) and no HDMI port. This computer was truly designed to be ultra portable and is not peripheral feature heavy. While I was looking for a computer that is easy to tote around, this could be a reason to consider a different model for some users. Since I was switching from a MacBook Pro, I found that the keys (like the new Magic keyboard) are more shallow and take some getting used to. Since I was switching from a MacBook Pro, I found that the keys (like the new Magic keyboard) are more shallow and take some getting used to. This makes for a small learning curve, but overall it is a non-issue. The loss of some factors of convenience (no USB drive, etc) are more than balanced with the impossibly thin design of the new MacBook. It almost seems ridiculous when you look at other larger laptops after using this computer. Keep in mind, if you don't already have one you will need a bluetooth mouse, etc to get the job done. More than just a cosmetic choice for the MacBook is the aluminum shell. I opted for the gold finish, which looks stunning. Since the laptop is so light and thin, the aluminum makes it feel like the construction is sturdy and not flimsy. Overall I am very happy with the computer. I would urge that anyone considering the device thinks long and hard about the need to use peripherals and if they can live without USB/ HDMI ports and a DVD drive natively built in to their laptop.

No scratches, no dents, cracks, smudges, anything, as far as I am concerned I got a new MacBook for a super low price! Absolutely worth it! My only complaint is that the battery life is by no means good. All in all I’d highly recommend it. Best labtop I have ever used. I always had Dell or a labtop with windows. So I was on the fence about switching to a MAC. My outcome was mind blowing the way it works with my I-Phone and other Apple devices is unreal. It's endless what the Retina model can do. Everyday I can't wait to learn and see what this labtop can do. And so far it has met my expectations and not once did it not do what I needed done. At first it was hard to get use to. But once you catch on you will be surprised how user friendly and easy it is to navigate this amazing Apple creation!! Run in to a jam there tech support is impeccable. Also the Apple website will walk you through any problems or guide you to customize your Retina labtop so you get 100% pure satisfaction to fulfill your Apple experience!!! Hands down best money I have ever spent on a electronic device!!! Soon I will be upgrading because every new MacBook just gets 1000 times better and better. Can't wait to see what's in store for me when I upgrade!!! So as you can see I am very HAPPY I made the switch to the Apple MacBook Family. So don't think twice go for it. You won't be disappointed that's a fact!!!!!
I bought this product after seeing it in Walgreens. I have thick naturally curly hair that tends to end up dry a bit frizzy. First time using any product is always trial error. First time I used it, I errored big time. Lol. I put it on my hair while still soaking wet didn't use my usual keratin oil I normally use when wearing my hair naturally curly. (I straighten my hair most of the time-just easier to deal with) Ended up kinda crunchy stiff. I knew immediately I had used to much product. So I used my water bottle, re-wet it a bit used my towel to squeeze some of the product out. Next time I used it, i squeeze dried my hair more, placed my oil on my hair waited a while then spritzed my hair with the Beach Babe. I combed it through my hair to ensure even distribution flipped my head over scrunched it a bit. I didn't error this time. My hair looked fabulous! My curls ended up defined yet soft, stayed frizz free throughout entire day ( it gets humid here in Tennessee) the next morning my hair wasn't all crazed out. Which my curly hair on normal mornings is normally just madness. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has curly, even just mildly wavy hair. Even my friends with super straight hair have loved it after me advising them on how to apply it. I always have a bottle of this in my bathroom is my go to for easy hair days.
I got this macbook right after I graduated from high school to use it for college. I think 7-8 out of 10 students at thr University use macbook so it is really popular. This macbook is easy to carry around, not too heavy. The processing system is really good too. I was able to save all my undergraduate files in this macbook. I used to use to play game too like lol and it worked. Overall, in my opinion, macbooks are awesome, nothing to complain about.
Loved the laptop. We bought this laptop second hand from someone that kept it in absolutely mint condition. It only had 60 cycle count and everything went amazingly for the first year. It worked great for my work and dealing with clients. But the trackpad stopped working and we would have to keep doing a reset for it to work. Not too long after that the keyboard stopped working as well and resetting it only worked for about a month. We took it to the Apple store and they told us they took it apart they said there was mold in it and it all needed to be replaced. We have never spilled anything on it so we were thinking maybe moisture from walking outside in the winter. We live in Canada and it gets cold here. Apple was trying to charge me $650 and when I asked if they had pictures they had nothing. The laptop itself was amazing but dealing with the service people wasn’t very great. I would recommend the laptop for office work or any teacher. We are currently looking to get a new one.
For me personally, the super cool 12" Macbook is such a product, it's simply not convincing enough for me to switch back from the 15" Retina machine I'm using. But for many people, the 12" Macbook is almost perfect: it's super elegant, super light, has long battery life, an excellent screen and enough web browsing (open 20 tabs at the same time) while exporting 20 photos. 16MP RAW images on Lightroom CC.
Because the computer is so outdated, the battery is terrible, the system once updated completely messes up the computer to where you cannot use your Apple ID or anything regarding the Apple ID. And because the computer is outdated Apple support can’t do much to help you other than the basics of restarting, rebooting. It’s best to save for a more updated model.
Received the laptop in the condition described, but disappointed that the battery life wasn't mentioned. It only lasts a few minutes before shutting down, requiring constant charging to stay on."
