Ancient technology. The computer in the picture has two lightning ports. Not the case. This computer is over ten years old generation. I immediately took it back and Walmart wonât give you a refund back until they ship it back to the seller. They shouldnât sell products on their site they arenât fully confident. Amazon gives you a refund immediately. You come late to the party, try to compete with Amazon and provide an inferior service.

It was a huge step up from my old MacBook Pro which was quad four and basically had only 1 hr. of battery life. This MacBook Pro M2 Max has massive speed, battery life lasts crazy long hours and overall, itâs an phenomenal laptop that will last for many years. Is it expensive, astronomically so but itâll last 7-10 years minimum. Anything that is seriously such high quality with impressive power and battery life for close to a day, this is a laptop that will grow with you as your skills and abilities grow and is worth having and worth the expense.

Deceiving title and description. This macbook is at least 7/8 yeards old. Model probably 2015 or older. Had skin cover in top and bottom, looks tacky and shady. Replacement charger. Lots of stains.PLEASE STAY AWAY from buying unless you understand 100% what the product is.Ask questions if needed. There are several better deals for newer macbook pros all over the web.

The newer M2 chip provides for faster access to memory and an option for 24GB of Ram. Slightly faster power adaptor which isn't much of an issue since I use Anker charging cords and products. All in all not much difference in performance but that'll vary depending on what you use it for. Photoshop is zippier, especially with larger files, but I have no way of quantifying that. I think Apple says the M2 is around 20% better than their M1 models and I'll just have to take their word for that. It is a nice machine and I have no complaints about it. I'd buy it again.
I've only used it 2 days. Startup was never that easy. WiFi quality is very good, I got a long list of SSID I don't have in other devices at home. In my SSID I also have an iMac from where I could easily load files and personal data to this macbook. I tried Adobe Premiere with a 5.1K video and it played smoothly, I didn't have to create smaller proxies for edition. I didn't applied hard effects but with Adjustment Layers it played good. Fingerprint recognition is very good. Battery time is awesome. For now I cannot add more of the several features this macbook has.
Pleasantly surprised. I bought this 'Grade B Refurbished' 2017 MacBook Pro to save save some money figuring that I'd willing suffer some dings in order to save money, but the unit I got is nearly perfect! The MacBook Pro came quickly and was well packed. The Big Sur macOS was all set for a brand new user. I would gladly trust this seller again in the future. My old Mid 2012 MacBook Pro served me very well for almost a decade, so I'm looking forward to the same experience with this updated model. I love the super sharp Retina display, larger trackpad, Touch Bar, and 4 Thunderbolt USB-C ports. Super speedy with it's 3.5GHz Intel i7, 16GB RAM, and 1TB SSD.Kudos to DoubleDex.
Dropped some nice coin and purchased the best Mac book pro I could afford and one that meets my needs. Even with the leftover gift cards from birthday/Christmas it still cost a pretty penny. But this will be a dedicated video and photo editor, so wifey and the kids wonât be allowed to get their grubby hands on it. With 1TB of hard drive space, not too worried about storage; always backup to a secondary as a precaution. Read/write speeds are fast. Photo editing via Lightroom or photoshop and multitasking between the two are silky smooth. even when working with RAW files adding layers, adjustments, sliders, etc are a breeze and almost instantaneous. Viewing drone footage from max settings on DJI magic air 2: no hiccups so farâŠalso: playing around with Dj mixing ... MoreDropped some nice coin and purchased the best Mac book pro I could afford and one that meets my needs. In the short time that Iâve had this Mac, I havenât been disappointed; slight learning curve going from windows to iOS, but thereâs built in tutorials for the Mac and also Lightroom/photoshop. Very pleasantly surprised and overall happy with this purchase. If youâre hesitating on pulling the trigger, go for it and consider it an investment in your future
I upgraded from 2012 15.4 MacBook Pro, which still runs well but I needed the latest for my consulting project. This laptop is beastly in its speed and processing power. Display is superb and the battery life is 20+ hours every single time. I look forward to carrying this laptop without power cord when I am at clients' site or on the road. I am a management consult and hence usually use office productivity apps but I will need some serious processing power for database and BI apps like PowerBI and Tableaux. I think I have 10 times the processing power I will need. The price is high but in terms of value, it's going to be as good as 2012 MacBook Pro, which still is very good, after 11 years! So, this is a steal for those who are looking for the state of the art ... MoreI upgraded from 2012 15.4 MacBook Pro, which still runs well but I needed the latest for my consulting project. This laptop is beastly in its speed and processing power. I have the base model and for what I use it for, it plenty powerful. The build quality is the best in the world - but we all knew that with Apple products. The mini LED screen is OLED-like. The speakers are have bass?! MacBooks have always had the best laptop speakers in the world. I like the full-sized function row. Touch ID is the best: quick and snappy. If you buy it used, its good value. If you buy it new, not so much. It is expensive at $2,500 plus tax. I was going to buy a new M2 MB Air, but getting the 512gb SSD plus 16gb of RAM wouldve cost about $1,700 plus tax. Thats only ~$300 away from a 16 M1 MBP! Apple is very good at its price ladders!
This laptop does exactly what it needs to do. It's M1 Apple processor delivers high performance that handles high impact programs like photoshop, aftereffects & illustrator. The only thing that keeps this from being a perfect score is the SSD space. I don't even think these laptops should come with 512gb or less anymore. 1TB should be the standard. But of course that's just my opinion. The smaller SSD obviously allows for a slightly better value, and if you're someone who relies on external hard drives then it probably won't be that big of a deal. However, if you plan on migrating data that exceeds half a TB & you want the process to be easy without running programs & opening docs from said external, or relying on a bunch of cloud-like devices... then you're ... MoreThis laptop does exactly what it needs to do. Either way, it's a great machine so far. I also love that some aspects have reverted back to the older thicker macbook pros, with more of an emphasis on maximizing side port options & less on trivial bells & whistles for design's sake. Again, great buy whether new, refurbished or used.
