Apple MagSafe Duo Charger
Apple MagSafe Duo Charger White With this double wireless charger from Apple, you can easily and quickly charge your iPhone. Simultaneously, you can also charge your Apple Watch or AirPods case. The included 1-meter USB-C to Lightning cable provides enough freedom to power your devices anytime, anywhere. Since this cable is from Apple, it fits perfectly with the wireless charger. Wireless Charger for Apple Watch In addition to charging your iPhone, you can also simultaneously power your Apple Watch. You can charge it by placing it with an opened strap on the charger. Alternatively, you can lay your Apple Watch on its side and charge it by flipping up the inductive charging connector. When the Apple Watch is on its side, it automatically switches to nightstand mode, allowing you to use it as an alarm clock. The Apple MagSafe Duo is Foldable This wireless charger is very compact because it can be folded, making it fit into any bag, allowing you to take the charger with you wherever you go. Can my iPhone be wirelessly charged? Starting from the iPhone 8, Apple phones can be wirelessly charged. For Airpods, this is only possible with the wireless charging case.

I was given this by my wife as a birthday present. I use an iPhone XsMax and AirPodsPro (but no Apple Watch) and already have a 20W charger. We travel a lot and as both items are supposed to be compatible, this charge pad appeared to be an ideal compact and portable alternative to carrying multiple chargers and cables. It is not.Firstly, charging is very slow, even for the iPhone. This may be different for later MagSafe models but my iPhoneX charges much more quickly by cable. Secondly, the smaller charge pad is not compatible with the AirPodsPro, which can only be charged on the larger iPhone pad, yet this is not made clear in the product specification. I bought my charger directly from Apple a few months ago now and love it. Bought one from Very for my partner. It's nice and compact and has a small footprint on the bed side table. The magsafe functionality is great paired with a magsafe case, if you're fumbling around in the dark you'll always put your phone in the right spot.Charges nice and quick but that does also depend on the USB-C charger you use with it. I went for a 65W USB-C GaN charger.Only word of warning I'd give is that I've seen an online review that shows the chargers durability isn't the best if using it as a travel charger and are folding it all the time to pack in a bag. The review I saw showed that the hinge where you'd fold it failed after around 200 folds. Not a problem for me as it'll ... MoreI bought my charger directly from Apple a few months ago now and love it. Bought one from Very for my partner. Multiple days in a row, left overnight and woke up with 0 battery because I didn't place my phone EXACTLY on the ring. The snapping is also non-existent with the official leather case. This MagSafe crap is good on paper but very bad application by Apple once again.
Ok so Says its compatible with iPhone 11 Pro Max. Yeah no, not really. Design is beautiful. I bought this as I have managed to scrape together the money for a series 8 watch, my series 3 charger I thought too old The Duo is supplied without a power supply (obviously). So I bought the best Anker USB c plug to go with it, with USBc to lightning lead. Watch, once fully charged, disconnects and reconnects and beeps when it does so. A sort of self satisfied up yours you dont have an Apple PSU maybe (seems to be the case, looking at forums, but Apple dont ship a powerful enough charger so I am confused) As for the phone, yeah I go to bed with it beeping to say its happy and charging. I wake with it near flat, not charging. Dont know why. Its not optimised charging being ... MoreOk so Says its compatible with iPhone 11 Pro Max. Yeah no, not really. Design is beautiful. I wake with it near flat, not charging. Dont know why. Its not optimised charging being helpful. May be i thump it in the night. Or wake, look at facebook for hours and forget to replace it. Who knows Ive gone back to the Anker 3 in 1 dock and everything is working fine.
Pros: Both iPhone and apple can be charged on the go.Cons: Not convenient enough as wired. Can't be used on the go without a plug. It's useless without a plug. To use on the go, one need to connect it to a powerbank, thus reducing it's usefulness. Too expensive if it can't be wirelessly. No user manual included in the box.
Pros: All in one neat and compact solution to charge iPhone and apple watch at the same time. One cable only.Ease of use.Feels solid/well made.Watch can be laid either flat or at an angle. No need to remove strap.Cons: Expensive. Price point from Apple too high. Should cost no more than £40-£50 from my point of view.USB-C to Lightning cable supplied only. No power plug. A bit disappointing at this price point.
I’ve wanted this for a long time, but always delayed due to the cost, but now I’m travelling more I felt I could justify the price. My piece of advice, don’t delay, it’s truly worth it.It’s light, it’s a very clean design, and reduces the need to carry two chargers, plugs, etc. And for the bedside table, it’s great.Worth every penny.
The quality is what your paying for here and it doesn’t disappointComes with a usd c to lightning cableBut no charger plug45w charger needed to work both sides of the charger at the same timeUsing a normal 15w plug will only let one side charge at any one time
A bit of an extravagant purchase as there are other cheaper wireless charging options out there. This just adds the convenience of MagSafe and charging the Apple Watch and iPhone side by side. Also compact and portable (it folds) for travel. It is supplied with a USB-C to Lightning cable. I purchased a separate 20W Anker Nano charger to provide the best power option to it.
