I have owned two other smart folios with previous iPads, and this one is a perfect fit for my iPad. I have had other covers which are either too bulky or too cumbersome to open easily. The Apple Smart Folio is very easy to attach with the magnetic back. It protects the iPad very well, and it sets up easily as a stand for it. I am very happy with my purchase.

This folio is ok for a limp along with an iPad. The best usage for the folio is a limp-along then to get something firmer that is more secure than this one. I don't recommend this unless there are no other options. There are other options available on Amazon or other places that are more secure than this one.

This cover attaches to the iPad by a magnetic strip. If you pick it wrong it falls off the cover. We now have a cracked screen due to the weak magnetic fixing. I normally always buy Apple accessories as they give good protection. The way the iPad stands on a flat surface is also poor with this product as it's very unstable.
I was slightly disappointed that this Folio did not actually CLIP onto the iPad as my original iPad Air 2 Folio cover did.It is magnetic and I thought that it might fall off as I have seen in other reviews but up to now, no problems.I have even dangled it, holding only the top cover and it did not separate from the iPad.So far pleased with purchase.Would have preferred greater colour choice.
This is one of the most comfortable cases to carry that I have used for an iPad. I do have some issues with it though. If you have a history of dropping stuff then I would recommend getting an actual case as the front flap can easily open and then there is no other protection except a screen protector if you have one. My other issue is that the fabric on the inside can get dirty and it's very hard to clean after.

This product is sleeve that attaches by magnets, not like the old style that you clipped toy i pad into. I have have several occasions where the i pad has slipped out of the so called case. So far it has not hit the floor but i am affraid it might. I have resorted to using a few small pieces of gaff tape to secure the ipad to the back side of this sleeve. I would gladly take a few millimeters of thickness for a case like my originail air had.
Don’t waste your money. I thought this iPad Air Case Folio would be as good as the previous case I’ve had. The iPad just lays on top of this folio with nothing securing it to the case. The one on the left is my old iPad case that my iPad actually fit snugly into. This piece of garbage is going back. I’ve dropped my iPad a few times with the old case and it never budged from the folio. The new case, the iPad will pop right out of. Apple can do better than this for the money. Disgusted to pay this much for an Apple case and this is what shows up.
