Love this product and even have multiple Apple TV’s throughout the house. This one happens to be in my study, where there isn’t a cable coaxial connection so the ability to both watch any streaming service or live TV through the channels apps by only having the Apple TV connected to my home wifi is SO great. You can stream music services if you’re not wanting to watch anytime at the time as well. It’s so easy to set up and so versatile it’s a must have. Want to set up a back porch entertainment setup, get this product rather than deal with complicated wiring; you won’t regret this purchase. Enjoy :-)

With Apple TV, it only makes sense that Apple has a strong hand in the streaming video space, right? It's already taken over our pockets, and our wrists. And with more and more of our home lives being fed through our television sets, something like Apple TV makes more and more sense. Apple TV works very well alongside Apple's other devices, including the iPhone, iPad and Mac computers. It allows you to copy over accounts and settings from those devices, making setup a breeze. The "AirPlay" feature lets you easily put content from a phone or computer onto the larger TV display. And you have full access to anything you've purchased through iTunes, in addition to all the other streaming services.

Everyone at home uses an Iphone so we went with an Apple TV instead of other systems like the Chromecast etc. Everything integrates so well. The TV OS is super smooth. We almost never had any bugs in the last few years of purchasing it. We also use AirPods, so we love to be able to watch TV while the kids are asleep at night and we want to keep things quiet. Only complaint I have is the remote design of the older systems. The touch pad is way too sensitive. This problem is resolved in the newest remote update, which will we get once our AppleTV retires in the next few years.

Little did I know that the app requires that the users have to have an apple watch to use. It doesn’t requires an Apple Watch to use the app on the iPhone but the apple tv requires it, which is really annoying. It took two days for me to connect the watch to the Apple TV because of some software update issue. But that’s not the most annoying part of the Apple TV, the most annoying part is the remote control. It’s sensitive when it doesn’t have to but when I need it to response, it doesn’t. I canceled my overly priced cable service and bought an APPLE TV bc I didn't watch over 75% of the channels in a package lineup. With APPLE TV I choose which apps I want to watch. There are some free apps like Peacock that provide a wide range of television shows to choose from. I love Peacock but then there's so many apps to select from. I'm in control when it comes to deciding what I like best so I'm not wasting money being locked into a cable package. If you don't have APPLE TV buy one. Promise you'll love it. All you need is wifi.

Apple TV does not secure your account.

Stay away from Apple TV!!!!! After years of everything being fine I called because my Apple TV service was disabled. I was told it was disabled because of a change back on March 20 when I changed my account. According to their records I made 6 charges on March 20 to Apple iTunes several of which did not go through. I tried to explain to Torie the customer service rep those were not my charges I don't use itunes that is not my credit card # and that is not my phone number. So much for Apples lousy authenticator process which never notified me of changes to my account much less asking my permission. I was told by Torie the be all and end all at Apple the only way to reestablish account is to pay the fraudulent bill with an actual credit card.
