This isn't a product that I feel like everyone needs to have, but it is nice. This 40mm one is the perfect size for my wrist without being too big and bulky. It is basically a phone or computer on your wrist with a lot useful features for fitness, and daily needs. Easy to navigate and use once you get used to it. Plus I think it is a fun and great idea to be able to customize it a little bit with interchangeable bands and different cases. I also like that I can change the watch face and how I want the apps to be displayed. Lasts a day or two before it needs to be charged which is fine but might not be the best depending on your needs. The only complaint I have about this product is that it doesn't come with a usb-c adaptor which is what you will need to charge it. ... So, it took me a few days to be able to actually use my watch because I didn't have the adaptor. Most companies and brands would include it but Apple just doesn't for some reason.

I really liked many features of Apple Watch SE like followingHand washingHigh sound detection that could damage hearingAirplane modeUnfortunately, when ever I wear any smart watches/health trackers I get aching arm and wrist pain on the hand I am wearing watch. This is the case with Fitbit and Apple watches.I have earlier reached out to both apple and fitbit and they asked me to see if the band is not too tight. I sent apple, pictures showing band was not too tight and was pretty loose. Both apple (earlier when I was using Apple Watch 6) and Fitbit (versa) asked me to return the watches. I have noticed that if I keep the heart rate sensor/other sensors that emit light into the skin cause more severe arm pain than when I turn off the heart rate monitor.I really like the convenience and the health stats like steps, exercise minutes, calories burned of these smart watches but can’t wear them.I have used Apple Watch SE (non cellular version) for about 2 weeks with heart rate and that too all the time in airplane mode (with both wifi and bluetooth) turned off while wearing it. The aching pain started after 2 weeks and I was wearing the watch pretty loose.I read few forums/blogs and many people seems to have similar pain.I am thinking the electromagnetic and other radiations from the watch are affecting my body and causing pain. I hope apple and Fitbit look into these complaints from people. In the Apple Watch SE, if you turn off GPS on watch it also turns off GPS on phone which is a problem so, had to keep GPS on and I didn’t find a way to disable NFC payment feature in watch to reduce radiations.I like fitbit 250 steps reminder much better than Apple Watch stand/move reminder. The Apple Watch stand gets completed even if you move 2 steps to adjust the chair you are sitting on.Overall, the Apple Watch SE is good but I think I am too sensitive for radiations that other people don’t get affected. So, I would give 3 star as the radiation issue needs to be investigated.

Love my apple watch. Ive been using it for almost 2 years now. Not one single complaint. I can do things around the house easily without carrying my phone with me. Connects easily with my iphone and airpod pros. Love the walkie talkie feature. Can answer calls and text etc. i also have a mac. So it’s convenient for me to have the watch so everything is linked together. If you have an iphone i recommend getting the Apple Watch SE. no need to splurge on the series 8 or even the cellular feature. My SE is perfect for me and i love switching the bands every once in awhile. Right now i have on a super comfy cheetah one from amazon. Dont forget to buy a screen protector and a case for the watch part. Oh and also i wear it in the pool and at the beach. Never had an issue. ... MoreLove my apple watch. This watch came to me and LOOKED beautiful. To be refurbished, I thought I had hit the jackpot, because it was less than $90.What a disappointment!! It took a long time to even come on, then it kept shutting itself off, and would NOT sync with my iPhone. Yes, I let it get charged fully AND made sure my iPhone was up to date on the latest software. Oh, and thats another thing, the watch needed an update too and my iPhone tried, but it was unsuccessful SEVERAL times. The only screen I could see was the Apple then some Spirograph looking screen. That was it. It would NOT go any farther. I never even got the option to enter a passcode or anything. The plus side is……. I had NO ISSUE taking it back to Walmart and getting a speedy refund. These refurbished watches may ... MoreThis watch came to me and LOOKED beautiful. The SE is still an excellent watch if you don’t need all the bells and whistles of the latest and greatest. The Apple Watch SE still has 90% of the features of the current generation Apple Watch. I think the only difference is that the size is 1mm smaller, the screen is not always on, and the blood/oxygen sensors are not as advanced. The watch is great for my wife to simply check her steps, read/respond to texts, and see some notifications. Realistically the most used feature we use our watch for is the ping our phones when we misplace them (which is ALL the time!). The only real issue I have with this watch is the battery life - you need to charge it every day and if you ever travel or forget, it’s dead. Got the SE (1st gen) for Black Friday @ $149. Upgraded from 38mm series 3 … I really enjoy the watch so far. Came brand new not too much of a change from series 3 but it’s definitely worth it I enjoy the bigger size and the updates. Works well without the cellular option if you wanna spend less. Couldn’t really afford to spend no more than 170$ but I’m thankful for the Black Friday sale!! Apple Watch is great for students, or teachers.. I get a quick glance at emails and notifications from my student apps. For gym use it’s great!! Tracks my fitness. A great gift for someone constantly on the go. Walmart was the only seller with the best deal during BF so props to them you can add protection services but Apple Watches are pretty tough if you read the instruction manual.. love my watch definitely recommend!** Only thing I don’t like is this version has to have usb c blocks for the charger when I got my series 3 it had regular usb
This was improperly marked in the store as an SE2. I was told it cost $199. I questioned this, after having done my homework, and said $199 was the price for the SE original. I was told no, that watch was $179. They said this was the SE2 and showed me the store sticker, which was clearly labeled SE2.I brought it home, opened it up, saw the aluminum back and knew. There was really no other easy way to tell the difference, no markings on the Apple box. The SE2 has a plastic back. Wasn’t interested in setting the thing up to explore further. I’m older and want the fall and crash sensors. I want the updated chips and the longevity of the newer watch. I got back in my car and took it right back. Feeling pretty deceived. The return guy wrote “not up to expectation” as the reason, so I went back to the electronics department and told them that it wasn’t an SE2. It’s likely not their fault, because the sticker clearly said it was, so who knows if they knew.
Don't get me wrong, I do like the watch and it has a fair bit of functionality. The fitness side of things is just weird & lacking - like being able to set your own goals (compared with Fitbit or Strava) I just refuse to being forced to subscribe to Apple's Fitness platform! - I have mainly switched to this watch for reliability, having recently moved away from both Garmin & Fitbit. I have 'made do' with the Fitness stuff by using the device couple with Strava - it's not 100% but not far away. Notifications can be a little inconsistent too. I find battery life terrible, despite what others have said here... on average, it needs charging about every 2 days - both my Forerunner 935 & Fitbit Versa 3 would easily go 5 days before needing a recharge. I suppose it is a case of getting what you have paid for and at this price point, it's about right.
Do you want a device where you can track your steps, calories, your heart rate and even notifications like text, calls, emails and even contact emergency services with a click of a button making it better for the individual that is in danger. Then maybe the Apple Watch SE is for you. I originally received the Apple Watch SE for christmas of 2021 and have worn the watch pretty much everyday since. And I will say it is really helpful and convenient to use during my day. And I will say it is really helpful and convenient to use during my day. Such as counting my steps and tracking my heart rate during the day and receiving my notifications without the need to pull out my phone to view those notifications. Some things to know before purchasing this product is that you will need an iphone to set up the watch. Because you do need cellular data to use the watch during your day. And the battery life usually lasts a day at max and will have to charge the device every night pretty much. One specific reason I really like this product is how simple it is to access the contents of this watch. All you have to do is press the button on the side of the watch and type in your passcode (if set) to access the menus of the watch. I would personally recommend this product to people who are exclusively apple users to purchase. To track your fitness and your heart rate and pretty much anything your iphone can do but it makes it simpler to access that content because of it being on your wrist either then having to get your phone out of your pocket or bag. One critique I do have for this watch is that you can only use this watch with an iphone 6 or above and need to have ios 15 or sooner. I don't personally use or have ever used an android device but i do think it would be alot more better for the Apple Watch to work with an android phone because it would 1 bring more sales towards apple on there part and 2 it is a lot better quality material to use and can (depends on the site you purchase it on) can be cheaper then the latest “Samsung Galaxy Watch”.In Conclusion i love this watch. And recommend you to buy it because. The Apple Watch SE is alot smaller than the main apple watch and is cheaper in price as well. And I will continue to wear it every day from now on and use the watch as well. and will also continue to buy the newest ones as they come out and will continue to support Apple and their company and their various products.
Bought this on sale after Thanksgiving, it was the best deal around for $199. Went to Verizon to activate (3 stores and called the Verizon number as well) every place we went said it couldn’t be activated: the store employees couldn’t explain why it was locked. Ultimately the Verizon rep that spoke with us over the phone said it must be that the SIM card was already activated by another carrier, therefore unable to be accessed by Verizon. She said she has seen this type of thing from online Walmart purchases in the past (iPads that won’t connect to the cloud, phones that can’t be activated, etc.)It was then clear to us that the watch we received from Walmart online was either refurbished or returned- and then sold VERY CLEARLY as a new product. Online it was clear it was ‘new’ and it came completely sealed in all the normal apple packaging. After wasting (all told) about 6 hours on this mess on 12/22, I had to try and get another watch before our flight left the next morning as it was a gift. The main Walmart customer service person that I called about this told me I could bring back the bogus watch for a price match on a (hopefully) new one in store. This was entirely not the case- after finding a store with the same product, waiting in line forever with plans for an even exchange, I was firmly told that Walmart does not price match online and in-store purchases. At this point, I was pretty defeated. I paid the current price on the watch, returned the bogus one and was able to get the other one activated without incident. I will NEVER trust Walmart online again for electronics- it has incredibly shady business practices, and didn’t even have the decency to try and make it right by at least matching the sale price. Lesson learned. Hope I was able to contribute a little extra to your billions.
