I previously had an Apple Watch Series 1, then when the series 5s came out, I decided to upgrade. The 5s have an always on display and are waterproof (up to a certain depth) vs splashproof. It offered an EKG meter and a Barometric Altimeter. Weather affects my migraines, so that one I was interested in! Mostly, I still use the 5 the same as I did the 1, for texts and messages. I have recently been tracking sleep, so I charge it while I’m showering. I’ll probably wait until they release a series 9 or 10. There’s nothing more that I’m needing out of a watch at the moment. This series was a great improvement from series 1, and even the series 1 was fantastic! I love this Apple Watch a-lot purchased. I enjoy the many watch face options how customizable each one is. From fitness, commas, weather, data, time. There are even screen saver options and also basic options that only tell the time. The sounds it makes are not too overbearing and I find to be quite nice. When my phone rings, the watch sounds. I now don't miss my phone calls like I used to. I missed every phone call from having my phone on silent so it doesn't disturb my children when they sleep or nap. I’ve had my Apple Watch since May 2020. I had always wanted one, so I was excited to finally make the purchase. I have the gold watch and pink band combo. I love the color of the band, however darker dyed fabrics often leave staining on the silicon band. I wish there was a way to avoid this. Unfortunately after all these years, I have not been able to get these stains out. I think that the battery on these watches could be better. I have to constantly keep mine on the charger while getting ready for my day so that my watch doesn’t died before the end of my work day. I would upgrade as I’ve heard better things about the newer watches, however, I have always bought so many bands for a 40mm watch that they don’t make anymore as the newer watches have slightly larger faces.

The watch, charger and wrist bands were all included as per the description at checkout. However, the reason for my 4 star rating is as follows: In the description for the item in question, it mentioned normal wear and tear and some scratches and stuff. As per the image I took, I feel as though, the normal wear and tear and scratches and such are a bit more astronomical than I expected. Especially around the crown, as shown in image. This watch has been excellent. I am going over 2 yrs now without any system failures. It pairs very well with my iphone SE 2 nd Gen. I have gone through a couple wristbands. But the best and most comfortable ones have always been the Apple brand bands. The watch has also helped me in any excersize data measurements that I hadn’t measured before, very cool. It has been very easy to use once I was acclimated to the system. One thing I regret is that I did not get a Zagg Shield placed on the watch face. My Gen Z nephew said do not bother. Duh! I should have followed my own advice. I have accidentally got a few scratches on the watch face. I have had Zagg Shield placed on all my other products and products of my family. The Project which is still going on is to collect all kinds of measurements, inputting educational answers, and current state of health integration to study Atrial Fibrillation ( AFib) It has been an excellent tool in conjunction with all the weekly tasks and measurements besides educational information by participating in this research project.I do not have AFib, others do, one of the many things they are looking at is to see if there are precursors that may present prior to developing AFib.
