Simply the best rum I’ve ever had. I enjoy it most on the rocks or neat. I love the funky fruity rotten banana-like flavors. And it strong, but not too strong. If I’m making a cocktail with more ingredients however, I’d go with the 12 year rare casks. It holds its own against all the other flavors a bit better.

I am reviewing this product as I received a free sample from Ocado. I have just started drinking rum this summer. I really enjoyed this rum. It was so smooth and silky. I enjoyed it with ice and coke or for a reminder of a summer day- with fruit juice over crushed ice- a real treat. I would definitely recommend this rum.

I received this free from Ocado in return for an honest review, and am so glad I did. I had a bad cold at the time and had a small tot of this rum, together with hot water, lemon juice, and ginger juice. Helped me to sleep better, and my cold went in a few days. Can definitely recommend.
I was sent this by Ocado to review. I cant profess to be a rum expert but to me this rum seemed very nice quality. It has a very good, intense flavour and though strong was smooth. Used some in baking - rum and raisin - and it was perfect. Anyone looking for a good bottle of dark rum will be very pleased with this product.
This was supplied at no charge, for review. This is a dark amber coloured, pure aged rum from a single estate, with no added flavours. Yet when you pull the cork the first thing that strikes you is the powerful, heady aroma- a sweetness that hints at honey but offset by a note of citrus, and with the two balanced by a subtle tone of vanilla. All this comes through on the taste, revealing a complex and beautifully blended spirit, which it would be tragic to insult with a mixer. No, consider this rum in the same way as a cherished malt whisky - something to be savoured on its own, maybe with just a dash of very pure water. For me, I would drink it alone on a mountain top or with just one friend before a meal ; it is exciting, exhilarating and inspiring.
Im reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. Feeling very lucky because this is such a delicious find. I first tried just with ice and it is so complex and delicious, it is way too nice to mix with anything. Love it.
This rum is such a treat. Ive had normal Appletons estate, which is good, but this is next level. Rich and smooth, its decadent. Great in cocktails, but also beautiful neat. My favourite rum!
I was sent a free bottle to review by Ocado. I'm not normally a rum, or spirit drinker, but in the past I have enjoyed single malt whiskey and this had the same sort of quality. I did use in my Christmas cake in place of the normal brandy and certainly the raw mixture was delicious. Looking forward to the matured cake. Would definitely recommend.
I received this from Ocado for review. We do buy rum from time to time but never really stick to one brand as never found anything special. This one is very smooth and will just perfect with ice. We totally love it and will buy again for sure.
