My childhood dream come true… infinitely cheaper than the number of quarters I used to pound into this thing!A blast from the past and a ton of fun for the kids. It lights up our basement and looks GREAT.The games aren’t as long as I remember and it’s button mashing at it’s FINEST. Don’t buy this one hoping for an intellectual game. Also, the three games don’t compare to other similar products with 12. It’s far less versatile. The 4-controllers, though, are really great and the entire family just played together.

A great replica. Was given as a gift to my husband, and he said this brought back his childhood days in a real arcade. Game works great and looks very impressive. A good amount of assembly, but it all fit together perfectly. A great purchase!

This is my 4th arcade 1up machine. This X-Men arcade is the most ‘deluxe’ one yet. The coin doors on the front add coolness to it, light up marquee, light up control deck, awesome artwork, stool. This was the heaviest bix and took the longest (about 2 hrs) to out together. Sucks that there isn’t more than 3 games, but there’s lits of fun to be had with these 2 side scrolling games and 1 fighting game. Wi-Fi capability is fun, and its a blast introducing your kids to these games we played when we were young!

This is my first 1UpArcade and I’ve gotta say I’m very impressed. The quality of the material is really nice. The instruction manual to build this was very well put together. It took my about 3 hours to get it all set up. The game plays as good as it always has. I think the scanlines option is a must to have enabled, otherwise it looks like a pixelated mess. My only complaint is the speakers, which are not all that good. Overall it’s an awesome product.
Why not 5 stars?Although it arrived without damage to the box, after turning it on I noticed there were significant scratches under the plexi top on the bottom side that was exaggerated by the LED. It's quite annoying really, and I prefer to play with it turned off as a result. Other than that, it is everything I expected. This cabinet in particular is much more attractive than the Simpsons I picked up recently. Especially the light up bar- perfect and uniformly lit.
An excellent product. I've been fighting this (1up arcades) fad for a while... And then they release the X-Men arcade game. It was fun to build... Like IKEA with video games. It's not a '90s cabinet... And it's definitely about 30 to 40% smaller than the old cabinets. Honestly, it's simply a raspberry pi a 18-inLED screen and particle board... With the 90s X-Men graphics obviously... But that doesn't change how cool it is and the small stature is not a problem... I'm 5'11 dude and it's comfortable to stand and play. It looks amazing... It's an excellent display piece. The only criticism or perhaps idea for one up to add... I really wish the coin slots lit up... Or even cooler if you could use them as a button to add credits... Not necessary but would be very ... MoreAn excellent product. I've been fighting this (1up arcades) fad for a while... And then they release the X-Men arcade game. It was fun to build... But again the whole product is exceptional.
Much nicer unit than I thought it would be but still very expensive at base price of $750. For 3 games. The Capt America Avengers game is pretty cool button masher but I’m not a big fan of the MK style game. The xmen game is awesome and has replay value for me. Got it on sale for $500 else would not buy.
I really love my X-Men cabinet from arcade1up. Brings back all the nostalgic feels from playing this game at the arcade as a kid. The other dislike i guess i could say was the yellow joystick wouldnt go up & down, just left and right when i got it. Arcade1up was quick to send me another replacement which was great. Game play is awesome. Just gave it a 4 star due to the broken joystick.
This X men game is ole school fun. The graphics are decent but scoring is very slow ( 1 point for most kills) which make achieving the high score near impossible unless you play for 24 hours straight. The game screens repeat too soon in my opinion. Overall good fun though. The other games included are worth playing too. at I’m buying the Xmen, Children of the Atom next. Look for my review
I loved this game in the arcades back in the day! When arcade 1up announced the XMen cabinet, I knew it was going into my collection. It plays pretty close to what I remember from my childhood, has the lit marquee, the deck protector, and the coin doors(which are purely cosmetic) but they look great on the front. The deck protector has the multi colored LED Light up bar, which was strangely missing from the Simpsons A1U cab. The other games are good, one being another beat em up and one being a fighting game, however, most will buy this for the X men game. My only criticism is the price. I already miss the days of $300 A1U cabinets! I can go without all the extras(stool, lit marquee, stand, etc) if it means I can get the cab for less money. I would even buy more of ... I would even buy more of them but this has to be one of those “choose the one you want the most” situations cause I can’t afford them all at 700+ a pop. If you are looking for that sweet arcade nostalgia and have no regard for the price tag, I say go for it!!
