Overall fabrication is very good but runs very small. Hood is too tight for me. Female with a lot of hair - couldn’t zip it up all the way.

This jacket is so light it's incredible. It's not too puffy and it folds up nicely into a little pouch that comes with it. I like all the pockets and hood. It fits me nicely. I love the color and it's very durable. It's also great for hiking or running errands.

Love the jacket, other than it sheds a lot of feathers. While it is warm and serves its purpose, I can’t help but feel that a jacket this price should not be getting tiny little feathers on the clothes I wear under it. In addition, I often come across large chunks of feathers that are coming out of the seems under the arms. Weird.Love the brand and the quality of their products normally, but this was a miss.

I had the perfect opportunity to test drive the Arc'teryx Women's Cerium Down Hoodie this weekend while working marathon weekend in Philadelphia in absolutely frigid conditions. I worked about 12 hours a day on Saturday and Sunday with wind chill in the teens and this jacket NAILED IT. Does Arc'teryx make socks because if they're as cozy and comfortable as this jacket, *that's* what I'll invest in next. The jacket is stylish, a beautiful shade of blue, and warm as can be. I even snagged something on the front of the jacket and cringed, expecting it to rip, and it didn't -- thank goodness! So it's good, high quality material and light, but substantial. The hood is nice and deep (and fit comfortably over my pom pom beanie). I think I'd like a little sturdier/heavier zipper pull, but that's getting into brass tacks. If you need something warm AND stylish, this jacket absolutely delivers.
So far this jacket has not disappointed, even though I just started wearing it. It runs a bit small. I am usually a women's medium and there's a tiny bit of room. The M fits well with just enough room for a couple decent base layers. But that means it also fits well under my size M shells. The arms are long enough, which is usually a huge issue with midlayer down jackets. This is especially nice since I am using it for bike commuting in the winter. It was -15C this morning while I was cycling and under my shell, I did not feel any cold leaking through in any spots. The hood is nice and roomy - supposed to be helmet compatible, which I think might be generous, though I haven't tried yet. However, it fits over my ponytail/bun very nicely, so I can't complain. It's ... MoreSo far this jacket has not disappointed, even though I just started wearing it. It runs a bit small. But so far I'm pretty impressed!
No regrets on splurging for this jacket. I purchased the teal color, which I love. This jacket is a perfect fit, super comfy, and super warm. I almost didn't take it off after trying it on for the first time. Took it on a tripe to NYC on cold and windy days and it performed nobly. So easy to move around in, great fit, adjustability to cut the wind, and easily packable for when the temps warmed up. Best piece of clothing I probably ever purchased.
I LOVED this jacket, however, the zipper broke within 2 months. So sad.
I recently bought this jacket during Calgary’s cold snap of -30C weather this winter. I was torn between the Patagonia Down Sweater and this Arc’teryx Cerium LT Hoody. Both fit good but I gravitated towards the Arc’teryx because it was on sale. Things I like about the jacket...super compressible and definitely light in weight. Attached hood, slightly longer length that covers your rear end. Cuffs are nice and tight so no air can crop up the sleeve. Things I didn’t like for the price are the cheesy small zipper pulls. I tested the jacket out in the bitter cold weather of -30C and have to say I was cold. You will definitely have to layer up underneath to feel warm. It is suited more for -20C with no windchill. I also did some research on a website about choosing a down jacket called Outdoorgearlab. Very helpful if you are what more information on construction of a down jacket etc. I am keeping the jacket as it is super compressible and will pack nice for traveling And I can layer it with a gore tex jacket on top for extra protection. This jacket does fit on the small size. I typically take size 8 or small in most other clothing companies but with This jacket had to size up to a medium. For reference I am 5’7” 120 lbs.
This jacket is incredibly light and compact. The fit was a little bit tight, so I think I would choose to go up a size from normal. The zippers feel a little bit flimsy and cheap. This jacket kept me incredibly warm while I was hiking in November in Minnesota. The hood kept out the wind very well. Overall, I really like this jacket.
Looking for an attractive but warm down jacket for my wife.Wasn't crazy about paying full price for Arcteryx. But she absolutelyloves it. Perfect color for a valentines day gift.
