I bought this a couple days ago and so happy that they came out with more bright colors for this line. The covert cardigan is definitely a warm and versatile fleece staple in my collection. I basically lived in it for the winter because I can go anywhere with it, dress up or keep it casual. I got the black Heather on last December and definitely love that so no hesitation on getting another in my favorite color. Just note that with the usual new updates in this style, I would be wearing a M for a better fit while S would still fit yet tight around the arms now.

I fell in love with the sun stone/sand color way and it looks just like it’s pictured in person. I was also really excited they offered an XXS version since they said it wasn’t a trim fit this year. The cardigan fit closely everywhere except on the sides/back. It bags outward and it’s really unflattering. The material is super soft and the neutral, creamy white color (Atmos Heather) goes with everything. This fleece moves with me when I am out and about, and it has kept me warm as the temperatures have dropped.Regarding the fit, I feel the medium runs true to other mediums that I have worn. I really like the cut…not too boxy, and at the same time not completely fitted, either. My one criticism is with the sleeves, they are too long (by ~2 inches) and too narrow. When I am hiking, I like to be able to push up/pull down the sleeves to help regulate my temperature and these sleeves are so tight I can only move them up my arms an inch or two.I ... I recently purchased two of the Covert Cardigans in Storm Glow (M) and Velocity Heather (S). Due to the redesign I had to size down in the Velocity Heather as I found the arms too bulky. I LOVE these cardigans and I’m super excited to see some new colours in this line; way more feminine looking. This product is a closet staple in my household, my husband and I love them and wear them all year round!! Highly recommend if you are looking for a great quality fleece to layer under other Arc’teryx products or as a stand alone piece.
I bought this fleece sweater as an alternative to the Patagonia Better Sweater, and to be honest I absolutely prefer this -- it has a sleek and refined feel and look to it. It is also more comfortable than the Better Sweater because the left arm pocket can't be felt when worn. I also love the boxy, sleek look on the abdomen.However, I was very disappointed to find that the sleeves are extremely uncomfortable. I am a rock climber and am muscular around the arms, especially around the forearms. The sleeves were tight, stiff, and too long for my arms so I have to bunch the extra fabric around the forearms, making it even more uncomfortable. I could barely layer a thin base under it. I also wish it was a tad warmer. I got a size Small and am 5'6" with a slim/athletic ... I should have read the reviews. I have this awesome sweater from about 5+ years ago, in graphite, size L. I thought getting another color would be a great idea since I love my first one so much. It was slightly large to fit over my uniform, but still shapely enough to be attractive. It was perfect.Sadly, the fit has been revised. When I received my regear Covert, I was really disappointed. The Arc'teryx Covert 'lightweight'' jacket is not a well designed jacket . Your arms do not slide into this jacket easily if you are wearing a long sleeve cotton t shirt. This jacket is 100% synthetic making it really hot and not at all cool even if it is lightweight. If you are going to wear a synthetic t shirt underneath this jacket you will overheat and be very uncomfortable because your body will not be able to breath from all the synthetic fibers of the t shirt and jacket. The 100% polyester fabric is not smooth it is rough on the skin, if you have sensitive skin this jacket is not for you. I thought polyester would be smooth and gentle on my skin it is not.
