As the description says, it is for a low output movement. For me who sweats easily, it is not a good base layer. It is not well breathable, holds my body temperature well that causes me to sweat even more. After a short while during a hike, I can smell myself. Not a good experience. I only wear it when slow jogging.

I’ve got 3 of these , excellent wicking , I’ve recently been in snowdonia for two weeks and did some long hikes , they are very comfy , in my veiw I would say they are ecellent value for money and good in warm and cold weather , mike howard bristol

It is not well breathable, holds my body temperature well that causes me to sweat even more. After a short while during a hike, I can smell myself. Not a good experience. This base layer can be used as so much more! This zipneck can be worn on a daily basis as part of any regular outfit. The sleeve length and trim are perfect and the lining on the inside is warm and provides great insulation. Took it on a trail and it was great for wicking moisture as well.
I love the pullovers from arcteryx. This one is no exception. It is water repellent and has a soft interior. You can wear it with or without an undershirt and it’s a solid choice for fall or winter. It does run a bit small so I recommend going one size larger than normal. Especially if you are in between sizes like me. It even has a breast pocket. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a good all purpose pullover.
Light base layer that feels and looks great. Very impressed with the material quality and comfort. This is my first Arc'teryx piece and definitely will be coming back for more.
The first time I put this on I could feel the comfort and warmth of this base layer. The zipper was also convenient to keep my keys on runs for more hands-free fun. Feels the fit tapers well to the shoulders as well. I also wear this in general on chilly mornings.
This sweater has now become my go-to for my everyday wear. The fabric is very soft and velvety, very warm where I can wear only this over a t-shirt at 30 deg F and I will still be comfortable. The fit is just a touch larger than my normal sweaters so it's very comfortable to wear without extra baggage at the arms that can get snagged on open car doors as you're taking stuff out of the backseat, rock outcroppings while grabbing for a better grip while climbing a boulder, or on random low-lying tree branches while reaching around your pack to get some water or protein bar. The weight is extremely light that I almost forget that I'm wearing a sweater over my t-shirt, and the breast pocket is a great size for my phone, credit cards, and keys. I have not worn it yet but I did try it on and it is a soft comfortable material that will be a great base layer in the cooler weather, looking forwad to wearing it during my Fall hiking in N. GA
