You should choose a different AIO after reading my story. It seemed that in 2024 this would not be possible, but ARCTIC engineers, instead of following the traditional and repeatedly tested path of mounting a water block using 4 screws to the frame, decided to save money and came up with a mount that will easily damage your motherboard and CPU. Which is what happened in my case. Installation on the Gigabyte Aorus Elite x570 motherboard took about 30 minutes! The installation of the Liquid Freezer III 360 A-RGB cooling system was particularly stressful due to an inadequately designed fastening system. The short screws and springy plate made it difficult to evenly and securely attach the water block to the mounting clips, a water block that does not cover the entire CPU lid and is offset leaving 15% of the CPU lid surface without covering (on AM4 socket), the lack of a hard stop of screws - all this led to overtightening, causing the socket to bow and damaging both the CPU and motherboard socket. Having assembled more than 20 computers in my life, I have never faced such challenges. I submitted a request for compensation for damaged components on the Arctic website (ticket #CS147313). The manufacturer admitted that the mount needed reworking, but refused to compensate for my losses. They are ready to sell you a low-quality product, but are not ready to bear responsibility for it. It's a pity that ARCTIC values its reputation at £300 (the cost of damaged components). I ended up with a damaged motherboard and CPU with no support. Don’t be fooled by the low price and advertising on YouTube, choose high-quality and reliable manufacturers. I was anxious when looking into a water-cooling-based solution for my CPU, as I had never tried one before and had always used premium air coolers. But I saw this, and after reading some reviews and seeing such a reasonable price, I went ahead and purchased it.Installation went smoothly, although it was unclear or detailed enough on the cable connectors. Still, after some quick research later, I was able to get it appropriately connected and running.Impressive temperatures at high system utilisation. With my previous air cooler, I would easily hit 80+ when playing titles such as BF2042, but now, I am at 65 degrees +/—some. I am very impressed; it looks great and is much quieter than any air cooler I had.I did have to remove all the components from the case, as ... MoreI was anxious when looking into a water-cooling-based solution for my CPU, as I had never tried one before and had always used premium air coolers. I cannot go wrong with this price range and warranty.

Great AIO for use with my 13700K. Tested at about 21-24 degrees, and I have about 10 degrees overhead left at full CPU load, on the standard Intel PL1=PL2= 253 Watts. Contact frame seemed to work well despite my 13700K being used on a standard ILM for two years. One of the P12 fans was faulty (bearing noise) on install, rapidly dealt with by OEM.Bought loads from Scan and will continue to do so. Great customer service.
This cooler is really impressive, regardless of price. The Liquid Freezer II was already damn impressive, but this one’s significantly better and at the same time cheaper. How Arctic managed to pull that off is still a mystery…Looks awesome, lights up beautifully.
It’s an excellent cooler. Someone with as much caffeine in their body as me can hear the water rushing through the tubes and radiator however. Excellent value for money.
Went through lot of reviews mainly Gamers Nexus review, and selected this cooler, and have been using it for 1 month. The Temps are really good on both CPU and VRMs.
Was initially weary of purchasing this after reading other reviews saying how difficult it was to install on AMD sockets, not sure if Arctic have modified the water block but I found it very simple to seat and secure the block down onto the processor, it located easily and both screws started in the threads on the rails without having to use any force whatsoever. Very happy with cooling, my Ryzen 3800X idles around 30 degrees and when gaming is between 65-70 degrees, running prime95 it gets to around 80 degrees. Fans are reasonably quiet even when running at higher speeds, quieter than the Be quiet silent loop 2 that this replaced. Overall very happy with the noise levels and cooling performance. Only thing to note is the radiator is much thicker than most coolers ... MoreWas initially weary of purchasing this after reading other reviews saying how difficult it was to install on AMD sockets, not sure if Arctic have modified the water block but I found it very simple to seat and secure the block down onto the processor, it located easily and both screws started in the threads on the rails without having to use any force whatsoever. Mine is fitter in the top of a Montech King 95 pro and it fits fine but is tight on the CPU power cable at the top of the motherboard.
I can't believe the temperatures I'm seeing with this cooler on my AMD 7950X3D. My previous cooler was a BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4 (air). The Liquid Freezer III is the first AIO I've owned.Well, I had originally ordered it from Scan a few weeks ago but the one I got was defective as it would not mount with even pressure onto the CPU. One screw locked out after about 2 turns and the other took about 6-7 turns. There was a notice gap between the cooler and CPU. Gaming temperatures were as high as 75C and in stress tests up to 91C. So I returned it, waited for new stock to arrive, and asked Scan to delete my previous review which I felt was unfair to leave up when it was based on a defective unit.First of all, the price is great value. Even including shipping price ... MoreI can't believe the temperatures I'm seeing with this cooler on my AMD 7950X3D. My previous cooler was a BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4 (air). So I returned it, waited for new stock to arrive, and asked Scan to delete my previous review which I felt was unfair to leave up when it was based on a defective unit.First of all, the price is great value. Even including shipping price (£101) it's really good value but the actual product price is £90. I think this has to be best value CPU cooler on the market right now including both air and liquid. Of course, if you don't need a 360 radiator then you have smaller/non RGB Liquid Freezer models to choose from which are cheaper. At £90-100 you're looking at something like a Noctua NH-D15 which is considered the best air cooler available and this AIO outperforms it in benchmarks.Installation was easy. The top of my case comes out completely so screwing the radiator in was simple but I imagine if your case couldn't do this it would be a bit awkward to hold it up while screwing it in. Mounting the pump/cold plate was not as bad as I thought based on some reviews I had read online about when installing on AMD. It was simple enough to line up the screws and I just made sure I held it down tight enough while getting the screws to catch. This time both screws went all the way in and locked out after 6-8 turns so I have good even pressure across the CPU.For noise there isn't really any... I manually set the fan to 100% to see what it was like and it's noticeable but not annoying. I could quite easily use my PC to game with the fans running at full load. Luckily, the fans don't actually go that high during use. I'm using the recommended "Performance" fan curve from Arctic and it's whisper quiet even running stress tests. Sometimes I can hear a faint high pitched noise which I assume is either the pump or the VRM fan but even if I turn off music and listen it's not annoying at all. Compared to my air cooler it's so much quieter to the point it too quiet lol.Temperatures are so good that I can't believe it. It seems too good to be true but I think it is. With my old air cooler when I was idling my PC or just browsing the internet the temperature of the CPU would be roughly in the range of 44-55C. Typing this review with just my browser and music streaming the CPU is running at roughly 38-47C. If I close everything it can go to around 36-37C. Lowest I've seen is 33C but that's after a cold boot or returning from sleep. Ambient temperature is about 16-17C right now. In gaming it's hardly budging as it's running at low 40s to mid 50s with the odd spike to 60 but it's mostly in in the 40-50 range.Stress testing I used Prime95 and the hottest it got was 62C which to me is absolutely crazy. I can't remember what I got on my air cooler but it was nowhere near this. It was definitely in the 80-95C range for sure. Running Cinebench 24 the highest temperature that I've seen with this cooler was 76C. When I ran this on my air cooler it was as high as 93C.This AIO has been a huge upgrade with my 16 core 32 thread CPU running anywhere from about 6-18C cooler! If you have an AMD Zen 4 (or upcoming Zen 5) CPU then this is the cooler to get. It works on Intel too but it seems based on a reviews it's not as good due to the contact frame being low quality.TL;DR:- Great value- Easy to install- Impressive cooling- Runs super quietI highly recommend this. Buy it!
