100% gratitude to another curvy customer who endorsed this product. They fit serious hourglass figures. My measurements are 28 waist and 41 hip. Usually, waists gape when a pattern fits around my hips. I fit the largest dimension and resign myself to looking less fit than I should. These pants have adjustable Velcro waist straps!! Squeal! They had no problem cinching around my 28 waist. And, I had room for wool leggings underneath. These will fit most hourglass figures. Swoon. I can also recommend these for those who experience serious bloating. They may be a good fit for you, too. These are warm, comfortable, and adjustable. Grr. I mean, yeah, it's kind of arbitrary, since sometimes I wear a six, & in these a 16! I mean, OYE! Ego crash!I'll try to review those XLs when they arrive!Cheers!

These are perfectly warm and long enough for my long legs. The only thing I’d say to keep in mind is that the waist isss a bit tight with anything but leggings. They fit, and fit well - the midsection is simply snug. Nonetheless comfort level is 9/10 and they keep me warm but I don’t feel constricted. Good buy!

First, I am 5'3', 210 lbs. Bust: 43 Waist: 39 Hips: 51 These are 2XL Short I'd rate these a 4.5! Right now there is a major storm going on outside. The wind gusts are 30-40+ MPH and they are driving a mix of ice pellets and rain. I stepped outside to thoroughly evaluate these. After previously struggling with too small bibs, these feel amazingly comfortable! I can easily fit my hand inside to a jeans pocket. These have room around my 30" thighs and fit around my hips. Where they hang loosely from my body they are nicely warm, windproof and dry. (I only stayed outside 15 mins.) Raindrops earlier in the day soaked in as well as shed so I would guess that these are very water resistant, not waterproof. They allow much freedom of movement; no binding on my chest or ... Raindrops earlier in the day soaked in as well as shed so I would guess that these are very water resistant, not waterproof. They allow much freedom of movement; no binding on my chest or waist as I went through a range of working movements (clearing snow from car, squatting and moving items). The Short fits perfectly over my boots, no dragging, and the inside gaiter is as trouble-free as they come. The pockets are extra deep, lined with warm fabric, and easily accommodate a cell phone, dog leash. Hands are in a natural position in pockets; no awkward angles. There's a small tab with a grommet that I would find useful to use with a carabiner to carry an additional item. The color is a wonderful "lively, blendable" grey that is almost a blue-grey; it goes with so many tops I have! The only issue I have is that if you wear them tight they do not have much insulation; my tushie got a bit cold during my test. I pair these with a hip length jacket so their design leaving them open on the side to one's waist doesn't affect the warmth and allows for the wide range of motion. When working outside it almost would help to allow better air circulation. I HIGHLY recommend these!
Seems well made. Is comfortable. Length is really good (petite and I’m 5 ft tall). I like the blue color—not too bright. The sides, along the hips (and downward) are an elastic material that is nice for flexible fit and comfort. I do wish the material came up higher on the sides but it’s fine. Runs a little small overall for fit. I’d get a size up from your norm.
I am 66.5 inches and about 140 pounds. The first thing I noted was that the package (mailed in a bubble lined yellow mailing envelope) was able to be left in my mailbox by the postal service. I did not see this as a good sign since we have a smaller mailbox and these were supposed to be insulated overalls. I was surprised at the light weight of the package. Upon opening, there were a couple of straggly threads in the pocket stitching. The pocket material is the type that will pull out when you take your hands out. The pockets are small and not very deep. I ordered the medium and it fit over my thermal leggings and pants without any tight areas. I consider myself to have an average build.Hunters take note: The fist few steps I took let me know I would not be sneaking up on anyone. The pair of overalls I received made a notable swishing/rubbing sound when walking. It was in the upper 20's and I could feel the cold seeping in to my legs within a couple of minutes of being outside to feed.I had purchased these to wear to an outdoor activity in February and these are not going to work out as they are nowhere near warm enough, not to mention the rubbing sound. If you are doing some aerobic activity that is going to keep you warm, these are okay. If you are going to be walking around doing some general chores in freezing weather, they will work for a short time. If you are going to be in a tree stand, behind a blind, or doing an activity where you are standing around outside a lot - you are going to get cold.I am unsure how long these overalls will last as the material and stitching does not feel very durable. I am comparing this to my polar king and dickies which have lasted years. The tag attached to the clothing says "ARCTIX TEMPERATURE RATING" in larger print and in smaller print "Arctix keeps you comfortable in temperatures ranging from (back to larger print) -20 degrees F to 35 degrees F (back to smaller print) Depending on your activity level!" The tag makes it look like the clothing is rated for -20F to 35F until you read the smaller print (depending on your activity level)- just something to be aware of for this item.
I am in love with these snowpants. I purchased them to use while snowmobiling and skiing. I spent a very long time (like seriously, way too much) reading reviews, looking at pictures, considering measurements so that I would purchase the correct size. I am curvy kind of all over which makes it hard to find pants that fit in the rear, thighs, and waist. So that's why I went with the bib snowpants - you don't have to worry about the waist! After all my Amazon research I decided to purchase the XL-Short. I would typically be a Large in tops/pants (I am 5'3'' and about 190lbs), but went up a size based on reviews and measurements. I am happy with this choice because I am able to move freely and not feel that I'll split my pants when sitting down!. I wore a pair of ... MoreI am in love with these snowpants. I am happy with this choice because I am able to move freely and not feel that I'll split my pants when sitting down!. I wore a pair of fleece-lined leggings underneath and I was incredibly warm. The pant legs are wide which helps to fit over whatever size boot you are wearing - whether it is a snow boot or ski boot. The zip up pockets are wonderful for storing small items. I loved the bib part because it not only kept my trunk warmer, but I also felt way more comfortable not having anything dig into my waistline all day. The waist-area of these snowpants is stretchy, so it fit over a sweatshirt I was wearing underneath, and probably could stretch more to accommodate more layers.
I bought these to go skiing this weekend so I haven't used them yet (will update after), but the fit and look are perfect! For reference I'm 5'7 and 161 right now (athletic build). I bought a Medium and they're perfect. They come up to actual waistline and length was just right as well. I tried them on with lounge pants under, but plan to wear legging underneath and there's plenty of room for that. Pockets are zip so that's great and there are adjustable Velcro straps on the waistband.***Important' I used the tag size chart from the pants that someone previously posted and not the size chart on amazon and fits just right. I wanted to give this a 5 star, but the sizing is off for the 1X. Weight gain this past year is causing me to find a pant to fit my 39 '' waist and 46' hips. I don't need a lot of technical details with tons of pockets, leg zip openings for cool air, articulated knees, water proofing, etc. The water-resistant fabric is fine for me as I rarely ski in rain or heavy snow. First, I tried the XL size and it fit my waist though the chart says it is for 36'. But the hip (though chart says 46') was '' too tight through the buttocks when I zipped the pants. The legs were roomy to fit a fleece legging underneath, but not too baggy, and the ankle opening fit nicely over a ski boot. The fabric seemed like it would hold up to my skiing. So, I exchanged for a 1X (chart said 47' hip and 39' waist) but that size was huge, about 4' too wide at waist through hip. Seemed like it was mislabeled so had to return it. I prefer buying clothes in bricks and mortar stores so I can find a good fit but there are no places near me, even in the high country with all the ski areas, that sell sporting goods for fat women. You can barely find XL sizes so a 1X (XXL) is impossible. I will keep on trying other brands until either I find one that fits, or I get the weight off to wear what I have in my closet before the ski season ends.
Nov 20, 2019 I just got these and wanted to chime in as soon as possible. Clearly, sizes rarely mean anything without context. My waist is 31" and widest part of my hips are 43". I have athletic(ish) thick thighs, and overall am an equally proportioned hour glass shape. Suffice to say, if you find clothing for curves a challenge, this review is for you.I purchased the Women's Large Tall, based entirely on hip measurements on the manufacturer chart. In the photo, I slipped these on over yoga pants and a sweat shirt with no "too snug" spots. Right away, I was able to do all my usual squat and stretch movements that I'll be doing for regular use. You'll notice the sticker says "Men's 34". This appears to confirm what another reviewer suggested, that these are the same as a men's medium tall. Which, is BS, cause the men's ones were fifteen bucks cheaper when I bought mine. Overall, I have no complaints on the fit, since I'll be wearing these over leggings and with uniform shirts and coats. The length was good for me. Barefoot, the hem just touched the floor, so I know I won't be dragging them, but also won't have to constantly pull them down to cover my ankles.Use: I'll be rocking these in Virginia, doing wilderness search and rescue... basically, crawling around in briars and other nasty stuff. Usually in temps between 15 and 40. I'm not expecting them to hold up against nature's sharpest stuff, so I won't hold it against them if I get rips. I have kevlar safety gear that can't hold up to that. Anyhow, these will hopefully protect against battering cold wind and precipitation. In years past, I've layered under my protective equipment and still come away with chapped, cracked, and bloodied wind burns.Features: I haven't seen anyone mention the lower leg layer. It looks like bloomers and is attached to the main leg, 8" from the bottom. The under layer has elastic, but isn't snug. I'll probably be tucking mine into muck boots, instead of over, since I'm more likely to be in standing water than snow. The side zip on the pant could afford to be less sticky, but it's not a deal breaker. The straps are easy to adjust and only stretch a little, so no drastic suspender snaps with those. The bib zipper moves freely and has a pull attached, so it can be operated with gloves. I was able to get them on and off without messing with the zipper, so if it ever busts, I know I can sew it shut and keep going. The pockets do zip shut. I'll never understand why manufacturers won't make those zip down, so we don't have to worry about them opening with gravity, and losing items. The zippers do move freely and have pulls. The inner pocket material looks a little cheap, so two strikes against using those pockets for anything but hand warming. For the ratings, they asked if they're flattering. They're not... if you ask me. My husband would never tell me if they weren't. He's a good man. I gave it 4 stars for water resistance to start. I'll go sit in something for science, today, but for the long term, I plan on treating these with water proofer, cause 2 hours from base, on foot, is not when I want to discover they're only kinda resistant.Bonus feature are reinforced ankle guards from where legs may sweep together. That's a big deal to me, since gortex and other rain suit brands have failed me here, so hopefully that holds up well.
