The product itself is nice, however, it was not easy to put together.The item (x2) boxes, did not arrive with instructions - I had to wait on hold for over 30 minutes to obtain them.The draw items were not numbered in accordance with the instruction sheet which made life even more difficult!This took hours to put (and pull apart) together - haven't yet decided whether it's worth that much effort.

This item is chipboard and laminate. It was difficult to assemble. The drawer fronts were incorrectly marked. Drawer fronts were stapled together and fell apart. Our solution: screwed them together with 8 guage x 25mm dark wood screws. It took a lot of adjustment to assemble. But, the end result was a nice piece of furniture.

Don't bother! The pieces come damaged and faulty so it looks cheap. Even the replacement pieces you request will come damaged. Thought I'd be slick and try and get a good price for a reasonable piece of furniture.. you're better off spending an extra $200 and getting something of quality

This is my third piece since starting to redo my lounge room in a mid century style and I've mostly been very happy with them. They're not exactly high end but they do the trick and have just the right look while remaining simple enough to complement future redecorating. The instructions don't always make it clear enough which holes to drill for the drawer tracks and there aren't always pilot holes to guide you. This means hammering somewhat blindly and easily nailing through the panel into nothing. Thankfully, I'm pretty comfortable building furniture like this and thinking beyond the instructions but I wouldn't recommend self assembly to everyone. Oh, and have an electric screwdriver on hand because this thing has more screws than anything I've ever built.

okay, where do i start? Firstly i love love love this unit. it is beautiful and sturdy and looks amazing! However... the one that i received sadly was warped so badly (the top of the unit was the part that was warped and a couple of the drawers) that i could not get the backing onto the unit. one of the drawers was also damaged upon arrival. so sadly my unit is still incomplete but temple and webster have since tried to rectify the issue. i would definitely buy from here again though despite this small issue though because the unit is beautiful.

It looks fairly decent for the price and overall isn't too hard to put together, but at least the pack I had did not come with correctly sized parts. Once I had finished it and put it altogether the drawers did not sit on the runners and kept falling off. The supplied dowels were too long and so the drawers could not reach both sides of the runners. I decided to add spacers to fix it because it would be way too much work to take it apart and cut down the dowels. Way too expensive to have these kinds of issues.

Sturdy once put together. An electric screwdriver is a must to put this together in a reasonable timeframe. Drawers are small, but the number of drawers is good for organisation.

Found this a little flimsy especially the drawers. I got it professionally set up too. One drawer is stuck all the time. The smell has stayed for 4 weeks now. Do not expect quality with this. I would not buy this again.

We found this really difficult to assemble as the main top piece was warped. Because of this, the drawers are uneven and some of them seem to have the wood look peeling off. around the edges. It's a good size but if I could go back, I wouldn't order this again.
