I like the wide array of interface options of the Mega 2560 for quickly modeling concepts and trying them out. It has enough memory and I/O to handle complex interfacing and computations with few external components needed. It allows me to model and test concepts without having to worry first about the detailed circuit design.

More GPIO and power means more capability for my steppers. I can only hope we get an even more spacious and powerful Arduino Mega but still retain the same accessibility for older code and shields/hats with 5v. I'd show a picture of my Mega but it's lost jungle of jumper wires.

Nice packaging, downloads easily done. Great support for the product. This is my second Mega 2560. It will be driving 14 strands of WS2812B addressable LED strips for Christmas lights. Initial testing shows it to be exceptionally fast.

Setting the Mega 2560 Rev3 with a bread board. So far so good. Just starting to write the sketch. Will being using the Mega with a pca9685 with 12 servos, 12 relays cards and 12 green and 12 red LEDS.
Excellent board ! I’m coming from a copy of Uno but I love this official Mega. It is way more powerful and works perfectly ! I especially bought it to have more pins and that’s okay. Thanks for the little stickers 😉
I have been using UNOs up until now. The MEGA (2560) is a great upgrade with the extra ports, programming space, and windows compatible RS232 (via a USB) communications. Thank you very much for your professional service. A happy Australian customer.
I'm building a CNC morticing jig, and needed the extra pins to run the TFT, the key pad, and the stepper motor. As with all Arduino products, it is the best. It has inspired me to attempt a 36" x 36" x 8" full CNC router. I've been programing with Arduinos for about 25 years. The only thing I would like is to learn more about the coding. You guys, and gals are GREAT!! Thank you.
I needed this monster of a development board to interface with a Z80 processor, and the step up from the Arduino Uno is huge! I just don't know what to do with all these pins! Getting a genuine Arduino product also helps because the Arduino IDE has had trouble with cheaply made Arduinos I've bought in the past.
First I found it to be the cheapest Arduino with more than one UART. I started my project with a Nano and promptly found that I could not drive a serial device and load / debug code with only one hardware serial. Once I got the Mega Pro Mini, I discovered that the code I was going to build would not fit in a Nano. There are many other goodies on this board that I might eventually use, but now I am happy that it has resolved the first couple bottlenecks I ran into. It is a very good development board.
