Arena pro 2 fins

They are pretty solid equipment for swimming, when I first saw them was my sophomore year of high school and waited till just now to get them. Do not wait these are great for training especially if you do not already have fins and are borrowing from the your some other source. The only downside is it took 2 or more weeks to get here other than that it’s great!

Difficult to fit

I went through 3 sizes before keeping a pair. My middle toe is longer than my big toe. That's very important when sizing since you can't kick if the middle toe is jammed or bent. My dress shoes are women 8.5 and running shoes are 9 (8.5 in Hoka). My European size is 40. I kept the 7.5 to 9 size fins. Any smaller and middle toe is unhappy. Fins are a bit loose in water, but work. Super easy return process using "Happy Returns" and UPS. I'm confident that if I need to do swim outlet returns, it will be easy.

For 10.5 men's feet the 9.5-10.5 fit well

With my men's shoe size at 10.5, which is right in between the two options for fin sizes, I was worried that if I selected the 9.5-10.5 it might be too small. I think 9.5-10.5 was the right choice after all. No problems in daily pool swimming with several hundred yards of kicking sets and flip turns.

Good fins for extra workout and kick drills
7 July 2023

Overall I find these fins to work. Compared to bigger fins, these are easier to do flutter kicks in faster, but do mean your legs work more. I find the sizing to be true to size, but depending on your exact foot size how your big toe sits in the fin opening is a bit mixed in my opinion. I've had no issues with them through about 10 sessions, and plan to continue to use them when needed.

Good fit and feel
2 July 2024

My old rubber fins finally ripped so decided to try silicon. These are shorter than my old fins so still getting used to the feel, but so far I like them. Building a stronger kick instead of just flying thought a kick set as I did with my old fins.

Great modern fins
2 February 2024

Bought these as a replacement for my old Z2’s from the 2000’s that finally disintegrated. I love the heel straps- unlike some other fins I tried on, these don’t irritate the backs of my heels at all. The short blade is a nice amount of boost without getting in the way or altering your natural kicking rhythm. I wear a W 7.5 shoe and the size 6-7 fit perfectly. My big toe sticks out a tiny bit but it doesn’t bother me.

These are great. They feel sturdy and robust. Do note they feel quite heavy. I wear a size 12 in Nikes and bought the 46/47 and theybfit great (my big toe is bigger so it might make it easier to fit as their is a whole in the flippers to make the fit easierWould recommend

Size ran big but product is great
6 November 2023

I wear a size 12 shoe. I ordered the 11-12 which were to big (I do like my fins tighter than looser).Exchanged for 9-10.5 these fit perfect abs feel great in water. I wore finis zoomers last few pairs, these seem less flexible which result in more power/resistance.

Very nice "short" fin!
9 February 2024

(Masters swimmer here who generally does NOT like wearing fins) I bought these because I've been recovering from shoulder surgery and trying to get back into my regular routine (but not quite ready to swim a whole workout without fins just yet). These fins actually surprised me! I have long fins and shorter Speedo fins - that all work great. I took a chance on these because many coaches are saying the open-heel fin is better for workouts, so I thought I'd try it out. These fins really pack a lot of power! I feel strong and quick in the water. Since my upper body strength isn't quite where it used to be, I can wear these and keep up with fellow swim buddies during our sets. I will say that I am getting a little bit of rubbing on the top of my foot, but nothing too ... More(Masters swimmer here who generally does NOT like wearing fins) I bought these because I've been recovering from shoulder surgery and trying to get back into my regular routine (but not quite ready to swim a whole workout without fins just yet). Well made. Sizing tricky for me. Stiffer and sink a bit more than I'm used to.
7 September 2024

These seem like they're really high quality, well made fins that will last. I'm a size 12 and my foot seemed to fall between the available sizes that bracket my size foot. I wound up going with the larger size (12.5 to 13.5) which seems a bit big, but at least my toes don't feel cramped like they did in the size 11 to 12. Previously I had an inexpensive pair of Sporti Silicone fins which I liked and were much more flexible than the Arena Powerfin Pro II Calypso Bay, but I had to be careful pushing off the wall for fear of damaging them. They finally tore after I got a good couple of years use out of them, so I got these new fins from Arena.
