I used to ride horses a lot back in my younger years and wore Ariat Ropers all the time. I mean like 24/7. I am not 62 and broke my leg last year. I've been wearing Alegria Seville and have given all of my wore out ropers to Goodwill hoping someone could get some use out of them. I honestly thought my boot wearing days were behind me due to the damage of my muscles and bone (I was hit by a car as a pedestrian walking into work through the parking lot). My leg swells so bad now after working that I thought I would buy a pair of fatbabys to see how they would do on my leg. They are fantastic and I'll be buying another pair so that I can have another color and have one for work (hospital technical) and one for home, doing chores and running errands. I'm so happy I ... I do use mink oil on them right after taking out of the freezer and every few months throughout wear of all my shoes. Again, I love them! Bought my normal size and they are super wonderful boots! Thank you Ariat and Massey's for letting me feel normal again!

My kids go through boots. We really use our boots every day for doing farm chores, riding, working with livestock. We have owned this model before. They are cute and they are comfortable, but we realize they won’t last. We get about a year out of them before the soft sole gets worn down and slippery like a pair of flip flops and the leather-like material cracks. Yes, they will protect your toes if your horse or donkey or other large animal steps on you. These are made in Indonesia. Just know you are basically buying an expensive pair of disposable boots.

Perfect! Everything I hoped for. About 12 years ago I lived in Pendleton, Oregon and was attending Blue Mountain Community College. Everywhere I looked women were wearing Ariat Fat Baby boots. Oh how I wanted a pair! With pants, with skirts, they looked so good and I was told they were comfortable. Well I finally took the plunge and bought a pair. They did not disappoint.
These are my first pair of boots. I love the round toe and the height of the boot. They have a distressed look in the bottom leather so every time I wear them I don’t notice any crazy scratches or anything. They’re comfortable however after about 6-7 wears, I’ve started to get blisters. I might have to stretch them out but I love them. I’m normally a 10-9.5 in boots and I bought a 9, they fit just right
So far so good. Been wearing these boots to do chores every day and they seem to be good quality. They keep my feet clean and dry, unlike the western chief rubber boots that I would buy new every year and every year they rip/tear. These ariats look like they will last a very long time. Great price for the craftsmanship. Most boots are well over $100 and I just can't swing that. I also appreciate that the accent color is blue and not pink.

Although my feet have spread as I get older, the bunions put me in a category where I needed a wider toe box. My shoe size is 8.5. My podiatrist had recommended my buying a wide shoe. Ariat has that option, which is wonderful. I discovered not all manufacturers do. I bought the 8.5 “C” width, but it was too loose everywhere. I ordered the 8.5 “B” width and the fit was perfect.What I particularly like about these boots is the sole. They do not have treads that grab and carry mud into the house. The surface is much flatter than other boots I’ve looked at. This means my house stays cleaner. ... My perfect everyday boots. I've been able to walk in & grab my size off the shelf & leave knowing they'll be fine n dandy. Since ive had issues with arthritis, I pretty much had to give up my western heel & square toes but found these about 4-5yrs ago & have been very happy with the fit & wear. My biggest mistake is forgetting to treat with water repellent before wearing the new pair the 1st time. That's highly advised if you're out in wet grass/terrain frequently as I am.As long as this style doesnt change, neither will I change from them. BTW, just insure that I always have a pair handy, I bought 2 pair this time. (No more wearing wet boots if I do happen to "step in it")
I love these boots. They're very comfortable. My only complaint is (assuming my feet are the same size) the right heel seems looser than the left. The left fits and doesn't allow my foot to float when I walk. My right one lets my foot move in the boot. It could be a quality control issue, I'm not sure. I've never had issues with shoes fitting unevenly before. I still love my boots, I just wish they both fit the same.
